Adjusting
The adjustments (volume, balance, etc) are easy to make but there’s no option to lock them in. I have to readjust them every morning.
Terrible App
By far, the worst app I’ve had the pleasure to attempt to use. Cannot the bluetooth setting to connect to my iphone after repeated attempts. Worhtless is an understatement.
Works well enough
This app allows control and adjustment of the user controllable parameters such as Balance, Volume, listening mode, etc. hearing aid control uses Bluetooth LE (low energy) connection. Bluetooth (std) is used to pass system audio (notification sounds, music, phone) to the HAs; and automatically connects thru both methods. The Bluetooth connection can cause the HA volume to be reduced slightly when the phone is being used. This occurs more frequently with games, but other apps can cause this as well. Not a major problem, but is annoying.
Needs some work
The app is not easy to use as sliders and changes to a setting using finger control for a slider are significantly below other iPhone apps. Streaming content from your iPhone in a louder environment lacks controls to adjust or compensate for the noise. MFI features less than other hearing aid apps I have used. Overall the UI is not very high on the quality scale.

This app is easy to use. I have used the assisant to change up when i couldnt hear certain voices. Works!! Couple of the sub units Are close together in sound but works. Dont change
Low call volume on iPhone, limited functions
Hearing aid and microphone volume are both low enough to be unusable for phone calls. Streaming volume from all sources is too low. App provides only very basic controls. Online adjustment feature is very limited, only affects the Automatic program, and when adjustments are removed the programming reverts to the factory basic unadjusted state, thus deleting any adjustments made by your audiologist. I do not recommend the Rexton Reach aid from Costco as it is not recognized by Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max as MFI Certified despite Rexton’s advertising and thus certain Apple adjustment menus for hearing aid adjustment are unavailable.
The update took away a needed feature
I’ve used this app a lot, and found that it takes a while to connect to my hearing aids, and that it was a bit awkwardly organized for the controls it provided. But overall, it is useful and I wouldn’t want to do without it. They seemed to remove the feature that allowed me to adjust the sound tone temporarily, which I really need when listening to specific people or in specific situations. But it’s back, so my review is back to 4 stars.

As hearing aid apps go this one isn’t too problematic. Some are simply awful. I am finding with each update to the app it becomes more susceptible to crashing
Disappearing features
I have been attempting to rediscover the directionality function. According to jet GPT, it is there, but I cannot find it. It wants me to set up the app, but that disconnects my current hearing aids. This is very frustrating and to help within the app and the assistant we’re not useful.
Life changing
I use Rexton App daily and I can now hear the voices of loved ones. Thank you.
Volume Control
The volume control starts out with the ability to set the volume for left and right but then switches to only a single control for both. It is frustrating!!!!

Not happy with Rexton App. When I connect to Bluetooth it is fine. When I open the Rexton app for bluetooth it says it cannot connect. I will take it back to where i had them fitted.
Pairing
App does not pair via bluetooth with hearing devices even when fully charged.

Good app helps refine the use of my hearing aids would work better than any I’ve had before. I I’ve had them 4+ months and I am most satisfied.
Marginally Effective
Needs Better Bluetooth. The adjustments in App are fine but getting the hearing aids connected to Bluetooth is a tedious process. Takes my phone and the App forever to get connected.
Overordnet set kanon god app.
Den får ikke 5 stjerne pga man stadigvæk ikke kan opdatere høreapparaterne via appen. Alt andet elektronik kan opdateres online så det burde høreapparater også kunne her i 2025. Så dårligt man skal omkring et hørecenter for firmware opdatering, som det er nu.
Fails to connect
The app fails to connect about half the time although the hearing aids are connected and adjustable using the accessibility/hearing device screen built into the iphone.
Lock setting
I set the hearing aids to where they work best and they jump back. Very aggravating.
App has good upgrades
The “live listen” feature was added last year. I’ve found it helpful in restaurants when I can put my phone down on the table and it becomes a microphone, sending sound to my hearing aids. Also the “speech boost” works really well and definitely improves my ability to understand people. And these updates were free! Thanks.
Maddening
At two or three week intervals app friezes and will not connect or disconnect leaving me no option but deleting and reinstalling. I should give Rexton a zero but I’m being nice. I have worn hearing aids for 30 years and this is my first totally unhappy experience. I do not recommend this product.
Very Good
Last update to app has made it very difficult to select directional hearing, before it was easy now I can’t select left or right and getting 189 is difficult, selecting back is easy. Other than this issue, app is very beneficial.

Horrible
The sound adjustments on the app make a little improvement to the sound but the adjustments revert to the default every time they are recharged. Every morning they have to be reprogrammed. Had service on the right aid and now the app doesn’t “recognize” it. The app says “turn it off then on again” but there is no ON and OFF switch. So the app is useless. We (customers) were sold on all the advantages of connecting with Bluetooth but they can’t connect to television, radio, automobile, PC, tablets, CD Player, Blu ray, or any other Bluetooth devices. Now, months later I’ve updated to the newest release and again, it fails to connect both internet and Bluetooth. It says “switching on Bluetooth “ then turns off. It says “place your hearing aids close to your phone” when they are fully charged and sitting on the phone’s screen. It says, Try again later.” That all translates to, “THIS APP DOES NOT WORK.” That’s evident when it is 13 years old and every two weeks they still have “fixed bugs in the app.” The whole app is a BUG.
Rexton App just okay
I ‘ve had my Rexton hearing aids for five months now and for the most part they are good to very good. The app howleaves a lot to be desired. The two previous apps that I e used for other brands offered many more adjustments and settings for various situations such as an EQ, wind filters, several memory settings etc. But the one things that drives me crazy is when making adjustments on the slow bars for volume you have to touch and hold the marker and then slide it. It would be so much easier if I could simply tap the bar where I want to volume to go. Thanks Rick E
Doesn't easily work
Very frustrating. Costco usually does better. I switched the podcast from my car speakers to the hearing aids. I lost the podcast. Couldn't hear anythingj. Volume said 15 but it sounded like zero.
Won’t stay where suppose too
Keeps dropping down to one showing where hearing is and keeps dropping hearing aids hearing calls.
Can’t connect
Since my phone updated I can’t use my iPhone with my hearing aids any more.
Won’t let you connect if there’s only one hearing aid
The app would not let me connect just one hearing aid. I can’t find my other one so now I can’t even use the app. It sucks.
So close to perfect
Have used Rexton and its Apps for several generations. The App has grown from a glorified right/left volume slider to a truly sophistical tool. One paired by the simple process, users can fine tune things with ease that used to require repeat visits back to their poor vendor. In noisy settings it allows you to tell your aids focus on the voices in which ever selected direction. The latest generation of aids take this common need to a higher level still. One of the best APP leaps has been to introduction of the AI like “Assistant”. It allows you to select your problem and then it analyses your current environment to implement trial adjustments with the option to SAVE if an improvement or refine further as wished. Once Rexton completes putting the available basic options at users control, such as enable/disable the Aid’s audible feedback beeps for stepping volume up-down?: 5 Stars!
Needs improvement in Streaming from Rexton Sound
App gets stuck in television mode after stopping a stream from the Rexton TV sound transmitter. Apple control’s still work. Balance control should be named Tone. Crashes a lot especially when streaming from tv device. Range is poor. Balancing people speech and a stream is not done well, you really have to turn off the stream. It should be adaptive like Airpod Pro 3. Not supporting auracast yet promising customers it would.
Latest update
I think the app needs more bug fixes. One of my hearing aids cut out occasionally now and the app does not load my hearing aid battery status. Please fix this. Before the update everything worked great. If it’s not broke don’t fix it !

Very Happy With Aids and App
I have had my Rexton Hearing Aids For a few months now and already they feel like old friends. I am so grateful for them. I love the app and use it often when my grandsons are around. I turn them down all of the way! But the app is very helpful to customize my listening settings in a crowd, restaurant and when listing to music as a few examples. Thank you Rexton and thank you Costco for providing huge savings and good hearing aids.
Apple iPhone issues
App is tied to Apple iPhone account . Which means if HA users are on same Apple ID the HA will not set individually . Rexton tech service was no help .

Awesome App with hearing AIDS
This app is the best app if you use it with your iPhone. You have control at your phone. It’s like driving your car . I recommend this App! It also can dictate your Tex massages as well a play radio programs as well music from your provider via your iPhone.
How do I get rid of the Rexton Assist box near the top of my screen?
I’ve had my Rexton hearing aids for nearly 3 years now. I had to reset my app and when I did, a rather large Rexton Assist box appeared near the top and takes up a lot of real estate on my screen. I do not want this marring my ability and to see and manage my hearing aid settings. What’s it going to take to remove this AI menace from my screen?

Do they even work with the CIC hearing aids?
Many of the features like battery don't show anything. Is there an update coming to make the app more useful? Other than volume control I don't think it does anything.

Just downloaded the application and paired my device. So far everything is looking good. I still have one more appointment at Costco in September 2023 for a follow up. I highly recommend them. Everyone was extremely nice to me. The price is exceptional $2,100 for 2, (right and left). I’m going to review them again in October 2023. Cheers for now. !!!! Stay tune.

Hvorfor er der ikke muligt at styre venstre og højre apparat separat? Det ville være til stor hjælp i min situation. Også burde der være en ret bedre equalizer til lyden. Op og ned til bas pg diskant er ikke godt nok.
Sound barrier
As time goes on the app helps less. The functions I used to have , I have no more or they come and go. Bluetooth function good luck once it disconnects it gives me fits to try to reconnect. The programs at best are only various forms of worse. I wish I could exchange them but way past the limit. I wouldn’t buy a new pair . Protect your hearing
