The app sucks
I’ll connect to the bassinet to start movement and sound, and only can ever complete one of those and have to get up after husband forgets to turn on the bassinet. The app says “connecting…” after it’s already connected and then I can’t use it for hours at a time til it reconnects. App is basically useless.

Bluetooth feature
Many times I’ve forgotten to turn it off when taking little one to crib. Love I can turn it off with my phone while rocking him to sleep. Also, playing our music is pretty cool.
Update doesn’t support older models
Doesn’t support older models so my gift from a friend can only be used from the buttons manually. I understand that it’s not a huge problem. However, if your products worked before and you update your app, then you should include all your products so they can all continue to work.

The MamaRoo works, the app doesn’t. Just flat out doesn’t connect.

The connection is horrible I have to press try again atleast 10-20 times until I am able to connect to the bassinet.

Bluetooth for older model (1026)
Got this as a gift and was super excited to test it out especially the bluetooth feature, you can imagine my surprise when I saw that they didn’t even have my model as an option… I’m super bummed that they are either too lazy to include older models or too money hungry and just trying to get people to buy the newer stuff…. I guess its worth it if you decide to pay the ridiculous amount for a new model however I don’t have that kind of money with as expensive as everything else is hints why it was given to me as a gift…

It’s okay
The app works perfectly with our bassinet, however, never seems to work with our swing. Rarely ever pairs and if it does, you’re not able to connect to the bluetooth for streaming music. This is for both my iPhone and my husbands Samsung, so it’s not my phone. We’ve tried deleting the swing and reconnecting it as a new device, deleting and reinstalling the app, as well as followed all the troubleshooting steps on the website. Not sure if maybe we got a return (which would explain the box) that may still be hooked to another account but pretty bummed we’re unable to use the app.

Timer never works
The app disconnects from the rocker every time, so the timer function never works. What is the point? Why not build the timer function into the product itself?

App works great and baby loves her Roo but…
When doing the “show your moves” I thought the Roo would do like a similar movement to what I do with baby when shes in my arms. When I want to play lullabies on my phone to play through the Roo it just never works. Overall a great product but these need fixing.

Doesn’t Seem To Work For iPhone
My father in law can connect on his Samsung, but my iPhone doesn’t seem to detect the machine. Tried things to correct it, but nothing happened.

Thought I would be able to pl baby music from my phone to the chair. Only preset sounds of “rain” and an aux cable plug in.
Love it.
First day baby it got to use it. He fell asleep instantly. I did have an issue after connecting it through the app where it disconnected itself and I had to delete the app and start over again to reconnect it. That took me about an hour.
Poor (as in none) long term support
I purchased a Mamaroo rocker when my first child was born and used it without issues with the app. Now after a lengthy hiatus, we pulled out the Mamaroo (model 1026) from storage for our most recent child only to find out that the app I used before has been replaced by a newer version that deliberately drops support for older models. Fortunately the rocker still works fine but there is no app interface anymore. Seriously, how lousy are their software programmers that they can’t even support older models? Seems more likely to me that it’s a purposeful move by management to stop supporting old units to try to drive sales of newer models. If they’re going to drop support for old models, they should at least still have the older version of the app available for download.

Sometimes I forget to turn off our swing, and I remembered I could download this app to do just that. I love this app. It’s perfect for when you don’t want get up to turn controls up or down. This app makes everything within the click of a button.
App won’t pair momaroo
Got new momaroo rocker model 1040 and can’t connect to app. I follow direction, click add device in Bluetooth then nothing happens. Goes back to add device screen showing no device added. Using iPad mini

False Advertising
An app that doesn’t even work half the time especially the bluetooth music streaming. Those pre-installed songs have no effect on my child. All upbeat garbage…and very suspicious activity of invasion of privacy with request for location on a child’s app.
All works great
We got the swing as a gift and it quit working pretty quickly. The app never worked with it. We got it replaced and all works as expected now! I only wish I could get the Alexa “skill” to work now
App requires sharing your location
App requires sharing your location in order to connect the MamaRoo to wifi. This is obviously completely unnecessary. Its simply idiotic location is *required* to connect to wifi. Child product related apps should simply never track location, this functionality should be disabled.
