Keeping me organized
I love this app. I use it all the time to keep my recipes that I find online.

For the most part, I love this, BUT
This app works great on my tablet & I have the paid version so I can keep my app on my phone synced with all the recipes loaded onto my tablet, which is what is keep near me when I cook. I primarily use the app on my phone when planning my meals & grocery lists, however, I cannot figure out how to update the app to show all the recipes I have on the platform. For example, I’ve had 81 recipes for quite some time, but I just added several recipes earlier this evening on my tablet. My app, however, still shows only 81 recipes, no matter how many times I try to sync or refresh. This is super frustrating, especially if I’m stuck in the middle of the grocery store where my tablet is not available. Is there a fix for this??
Greatness Awaits
Very useful, greatness awaits
Good
I wish that I could import a recipe using the app, instead the app forces me out into the mobile web browser to do it.
Website Down???
BE AWARE: The Cookmate online website is not working at all. I tried to use the import function on the app, but got a blank white screen. Tried to access the site manually in my browser (iOS), but got a ‘cannot connect to server’ error. I can’t even sync my account in the app as I get the same server error. I have emailed support, and I am currently awaiting a response. Are they shutting the app and website down? Am I the only one having this issue?
Fun for family
This app is not only fun for family sharing, it’s simple to save recipes from internet as well as create my own.
New app is cr app
So they say we have to switch and the new free app only accepts 60 recipes. All my apps now only show up online and all the links to export or import just take you to Login online. Can’t even move 60 over to the new app. I sure ain’t going to pay for a year of upgrade if I can’t transfer anything. The old app was a nightmare too. I was hooked up for auto renewal each month but they would send messages and cut me off before the would auto deduct and turn it back on. Stay far away, this is their 3rd time “upgrading” to less free features but nothing new or better for pay.
A great app with some fine tuning needs
I love this app for keeping my tried-and-true and day-to-day recipes. No more losing recipe cards or keeping dozens of recipe tabs open. The visuals make it easy to find the right recipe, the categories and tags are great for searching and keeping organized, I can make my own edits and and upload my own photos, and it’s easy to share with friends and peruse their favourites too. I LOVE how it automatically finds the right info from webpages and imports the recipe - bye bye endless scrolling and adds messing the layout! This is arguably one of the best and most useful functions because it improves ease of use, meaning I will actually use it instead of waiting for time and mental energy to manually import from a website, which will almost never happen. It’s also different from Pinterest because the imported info will never 404. I only import recipes I actually want to keep for easy reference, rather than looking through a million recipes I think I want to try. However, there are some UI/UX quirks that could be improved to the navigation, making it easier to add categories and tags, removing extra unnecessary button clicks and working out some of the user flow. However, these don’t directly impact the usefulness of the app and can be worked around once you’ve learned what doesn’t work well.
Easy to use
I love this app. I pull recipes that look good to me and they arrange them in the easiest format. It’s all laid out and separated. I highly recommend it
Good app, but ridiculous subscription
I used to have the ad-free version (still there on Android). Now it seems ads are bundles with the rest of the subscription. I don’t need the extra features and $2 a month seems excessive to remove ads. It is unfortunate, used to really love the simpler version
Love
I keep most of my recipes here, and I keep it synched on my mom’s phone as well so it’s easy for us to share recipes.
Clunky and old
I really dislike the feel of this app, it feels old, looks old and would never pay that much for a subscription for it! Deleted.
Trop dommage ! 😥
Good one
I had the old Cookmate app and it quit accepting new recipes from the internet. I downloaded the new one and it works SO MUCH BETTER!!! I absolutely love it! Very user friendly.
I don’t get it
Not good. Couldn’t get any of my TikTok recipes to come in at all. Everything was just blank. Stopped trying.
Love this app!
I have used this app for a couple years now. Originally downloaded it to hold all my various Christmas cookies into one place but soon filled it up with meal recipes found on the internet, in recipe books and even hand written recipes shared by friends. I then opted for the paid version to increase my limit and it is well worth it! It’s easy to use and I can pull up any of my recipes anywhere. I also share recipes with my children using the friends feature. It’s nice to have all my recipes in one place in a searchable format.
Just not working
This app is just not working for me. Tried to register with my email, didn’t receive the email and I made sure I typed it right. Then tried another way and it’s showing it an error.
Fantastic!
Fantastic app! Easy to import recipes and they can be edited, too!
Best Digital Cookbook Ever!
I’ve been using this for almost 4 years now and I enjoy every bit of it. I’m able to login on any device it does not have to be specific and I am able to get my recipes or what I need to buy for my recipes at any time. Thank you so much Cookmate.
Do not use
It’s a great app except…… after a certain period of time you have to upgrade or you can’t access you recipes. It gets very old apps saying they are free when clearly they aren’t
Great App
Love this App. Keeps all my recipes at my fingertips
Account notwendig
