Dark pattern – forced renewal, no way to change requirements
The app does not let you reconfigure your policy requirements. Instead, it locks you into renewing the existing policy with no real options to adjust cover, terms, or details. This feels like a deliberate dark pattern that prioritizes forcing renewals over giving customers genuine choice and control. Very disappointing experience. When you call the renewal team and ask for changes, they redirect you to the new-policy line. The new-policy team then tells you “this is only for new policy holders, please call the renewal team to change and renew.” You’re stuck in a loop with no way to actually modify the policy. Classic dark pattern that prioritises locking customers into the current plan over giving them real choice. Very poor experience. I’ve been bounced around so much that I’m beginning to qualify for travel insurance. Apparently, “customer choice” is still in the pilot phase. Shame nobody thought to inform the customers.

Extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with this app. I have tried using it multiple times, and the same issue keeps happening. I repeatedly get an “Unable to process” message and cannot complete what I am trying to do. The most frustrating part is the Claims section. When you actually need to raise a claim, the app does not even allow you to properly start the process. I have tried again without success, which leaves the customer stuck with no straightforward way to proceed. I can understand occasional technical problems, but when an essential function repeatedly fails and there is no clear alternative within the app, it becomes completely unacceptable. Customers should not have to keep retrying the same process, wasting their time and getting nowhere. Honestly, the experience is so poor that it starts to feel as though the system is making it unnecessarily difficult for customers to raise a claim. I am not making that statement lightly, I am saying it because of how consistently the process fails when you actually need it. Very poor customer experience. The basic functions should work reliably, especially when they involve something as important as submitting a claim. This needs to be fixed urgently.
