Such terrible and confusing. Disaster to add beneficiary. If trying to add via IBAN (which is proper and secure way) it adds it as Raast account, hence you can’t transfer any money. If you break the account apart, then you can send money. Sometimes it does let you select bank name, but from other menu it doesn’t give you an option to add bank. (Clear cut bug in the MCB live app), not sure what kind of software engineers designed it. Pathetic

Unreliable Banking App Experience
I’ve had a very frustrating experience with the MCB Liv app. Many times when I try to log in, the app simply refuses to proceed without showing any error message or explanation. It feels unreliable and unpredictable. A banking app should be dependable, especially when you urgently need to transfer money. If it doesn’t work when you need it most, what’s the point? I hope the team seriously improves the app’s stability and login experience, because right now it feels like a “moody” app rather than a trustworthy banking tool.

I’d rate this bank 3 stars. There are still lots of issues with the app and customer service that need improving. My debit card was blocked over a year ago, and I still can’t use it. Icalled helpline multiple times and completed all required verification, yet they still seem to think I’m using someone else’s account. I even visited an MCB branch, but they couldn’t verify me either and simply advised me to call the helpline again. ,extremely frustrating after more than a year. MCB seriously needs to improve its verification process, app and customer support.

I think we should start reporting this app
This app after every update makes you suffer to provide them bio metrics. MCB should learn from top global banks that manage trillions and don’t make customers suffer over something as simple as ID verification only once when you open account.

The updates are seldom useful for users. Please make sure that no functions are changed if not problematic. The users get used and it is changed. Every user is not tech savvy. The users of old age and slow in learning face problems.

The app takes forever to load. Ive been waiting for mobile top up for the last half an hour. It’s time we shift to something more sensible, reasonable and the one that doesnt lag for hours

App installed and biometrics performed but always gives error message. Absolutely non-professional app. This is why I have transferred my deposits to another bank.

Poorly designed app, hangs up, unresponsive. Lets you down when most needed. Long history of problems, each update only seems to make things worse.
Unresponsive, slow, sluggish and generally unpredictable Banking App.
The previous version of MCB Live was quite slow, at times just frozen/ unresponsive and very moody and I was really looking forward to an updated/ new user-friendly version which finally came some time ago. I was thrilled to download the latest version and had high expectations of a smooth, smart and reliable operating system but it was not to be. Current App doesn’t just open up so often and even when it does it wouldn’t respond to my touch and wouldn’t just move forward to next step. Sometimes it just does not display the Balance and you can’t transfer funds to your family and friends or pay important time sensitive/limited bills. It’s frigidness and No-response attitude is very annoying and time wasting and hence needs urgent attention, repair and launch of a better user-responsive/ friendly version like that of Meezan Bank or HBL Bank App etc., please.

This new update has got me bang my head to the wall! re-installed several times and it only worke 1 out of 100 attempts! I get ‘unable to read configuration, contact Administrator’ !! when will this be fixed?
Improved but little bit problem
This app has improved a lot since new interface but the only problem I noted is that an iPhone it doesn’t work with the Face ID login. Need to fix Face ID login system.

Worst app ever
When new app rolled out was happy that it would work fine. But guess what same issues, now app lags, takes ages to load, loads successfully on occasions but when try to use it no success. Worst part is technical department is useless as well, so best luck to those who are stick with this bank.
Needs privacy location to be ON
New version requires location services to be on then only will be able to login( foreign customers) Otherwise the app is a good one for it’s services. Not sure if it happens in the country?
