Misleading Description
The software doesn’t provide what was advertised when downloaded. Willing to purchase software but I will find software that is upfront about purchases.
Best phone scanner, platform lacking tho
I love this scanner and immediately upgraded to Pro. As a graduate student studying immersive tech & communications, we spent one class talking about capturing 3D assets, but I was hooked. This was my first major process upgrade after starting for free on Scaniverse. The resulting quality is unparalleled by anything I captured with Niantic and I’m having a lot of fun testing out the different modes. I just wish. There were portfolio pages, video export or “share to” (sketchfab, viverse, Instagram etc.) Thank you for building such a powerful and accessible tool for my new passion project(s)!
12 pro max crash
Did a pretty long lidar scan so it could be on me. Frustrated it couldn’t at least save it for an attempt in the future. Frustrated my photo scan failed as well. Just trying to capture a trail I just made.

It keeps failing when ever I try to generate stuff for my game fix this but awesome quality on my cousins phone

Errors - Pro Features
Purchased a pro subscription to get LIDAR scanning. I continually get an iOS popup error when trying to use this feature. I requested a refund from the developer, no response, I requested a refund from Apple, it was denied, reached out to the developer again and still no reply. Steer clear of this app.
Good but glitchy
I noticed that, though the scanning does work It gets really glitchy when taking photos/ videos
Basic Version UNuseable
Tried multiple times to scan a very simple object with terrible results. Tried photo and LiDAR. Crashed on the very first attempt. I’m okay to pay for better results but £18 / month is insane for an iPhone tool - pro users would use a dedicated scanner.

Only had the app downloaded for 10 minutes and I’ve already create a 3d image of a garden gnome and printed it on a Bambu H2C with no glitches. Now I need to watch the tutorials 🧐

Tedious
If you build a machine with a crank handle that you can mount your phone to and scan 360 degrees around a thing at the three angles the app wants then it might work. Otherwise you need to clear out a room. Set the thing you want to scan in the middle of the room so you can walk around the entire thing. There’s a lot of scanning tables available but they rotate the object not the phone around the object.

For being free, it’s so good. I appreciate that they don’t force the subscription down your throat, you can make the decision if you want it or not. And honestly the subscription might be worth it, it’s genuinely so good.

But the app keeps crashing when trying to do a basic 3d scan with lidar. Not sure how this gets 4.4 stars when it can’t even run stable.

Not usable
I started with pro plan and got no usable result. I could not select multiple video furthermore the upload to very long and aborted multiple times as well as processing the scans. I tried everything like in the example videos. As I could not get a anywhere near usable result I will try to get an refund and cancel the plan as can not use the scans. I will check half a year if it got any better and if you can upload multiple videos. I don’t need sub Millimeter accuracy but it should be able to get in 3-4mm deviation range with multiple high res 4K videos and 40 px photos. I used the normal photogrammetry and the Ai which was slightly better but still at 5-7 mm deviation from the real thing which makes it unusable for construction
Issue with Fine capture details
This app does wonders I’ve used up to 4 other apps which paled in comparison the issue with what I have this app has issues with fine details and problems with certain slits and inserts instead of hallow it fills it in but accuracy is excellent by far :)

Crashes repeatedly
I can’t get this thing to work at all. Every time I try to a lidar scan it crashes with some super unhelpful unhandle exception from SwiftUI. Dumbest thing ever

Like all other 3d scanners they don’t seem to be able to scan a small 2” model. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but then a quick look on Youtube seems to suggest these scanner apps with an iPhone 17 pro are only any good for architects scanning space.

Great for scanning objects
So far this app has worked very well for scanning small objects on a turn table. I am excited to try other things in the future.
Crashes without a single good result
App crashes when using and then has the audacity to ask for money when I reopen it. You should disable that until I get a result I can use.

The whole app feels like it is Aliexpress. Commercial is popping up everywhere and the result is not any better than other apps.

LiDAR doesn’t work
Even though i got the new iphone 16, it says I don’t have the lidar sensor even though i did the research and the face id scanner is a lidar scanner.
Issues with iPhone 17 pro
Brand new iPhone 17 pro max, fully updated, 384gb available. From KIRI. “Oh, sensor fail error. Ummm frankly speaking, this error came from apple object capture framework and we cannot do much about that. Several things you can try, update your ios version to the latest. restart your phone and try again. make sure you have sufficient storage on your phone We have report this to apple, and wish they can do something to fix this bug. Meanwhile you can use photo scan, they use the same algorithm actually, the only difference is: one is on device calculate and one is on cloud to process. Best regards Chris”

I find it very easy and the results are superior than other similar apps. I subscribed after 1 scan.

プロセスにすごく時間がかかるときがそれなりにあります。 品質は最高だが2分ほどの動画をアップロードしても6時間以上たってもモデルが生成されないことがあります。 insta360のジンバルで撮影しているがapple dock kitと連携はしてなさそうです。
Good results, hate the subscription
Very good results and easy to use, but I hate that it’s another subscription service. I first want o see what the pro results look like! Why not give the option to pay a small fee per Scan if subscription is not an option

Nur Abo!
Leider wieder nur ein Programm auf Abo Basis. Zudem muss ich jetzt nach einem Scan, 2-6 Stunden warten, um das Ergebnis zu sehen. Das bei jedem Scan? Nein danke. Die Zeit ist mir zu kostbar. Ich werde mich für eine separate Hardware, inklusive kostenlose Software entscheiden.

nothing scans
every time i scan something it says scan failed. i watched the tutorials and tried it multiple ways like using a lazy susan and walking around the object and its not making a model. glad i didnt have to pay to find out it doesn’t work at least
