Logging on
Impossible to log in on IPhone 17 as button is too far down the screen.
There will be some problems in China.
First of all, I can’t log in in China, I can‘t open the login page, and then I can’t use the discover function in China. I hope to fix it as soon as possible. I like this app very much, but if it is always like this, I can‘t use it anymore.
Whimsical art only in the Scamiverse
I was hoping to get a 3D scan of a tool part I want to 3D print but Scamiverse has a long way to go before that is possible. It needs AI integration for sure.

Really good work, but I think you could do better
Rotating
Please allow us to rotate splat scans. It’s been over 2 years and still no support to rotate splats, or change the background color, or view in AR. Update; the pushing to post to meta and connect your account and to post online front and center takes away from the app.. It would be nice if there was just a focused mode to quickly scan and view your scans like there was years ago. // A Phenomenal company giving powerful tools to the people for free. This company puts human exploration and advancement above market profits, caring more about giving tools to future generations. Bravo !! Update: Still phenomenal, splats are so so so crazy good! I can’t wait until you can rotate, AR view, and export a splat scan just like a mesh scan; keep up the important work!

I miss the free version. More options and um free exports. Try Kiri engine instead.
Cool app only one thing I hate tho.
I love that I can 3D scan stuff in real life with this app! Only problem is that sometimes there’s holes in the models after I 3D scan the real one.
処理落ちしまくり
スキャンしてディテール処理を何回試行しても、100%になった瞬間に処理落ち。データも残らないから最初から。改善してください。

Honestly this is as good as free gets I mean if you want perfect models for free this is for you I made my entire room I could mistake this for a photo besides that it is 3d and you can look around this is amazing
Can’t even login
Downloaded and it says my Google account doesn’t exist but yet I have been loging into stuff all day with it :(
Standard is Great. New version is Not
I’ve been a consistent user of Scaniverse for over five years. However, I wanted to try out the new version of the app and was met with an unnatural amount of complexity and inconvenience. I immediately unloaded it and reloaded the basic version because it was such a pain to getting it to function properly. Also, you can’t revert back to the original version without uninstalling the app which is a massive loss for all of my previous scans. It’s fine though since I don’t do this professionally, but the inconvenience is very palpable. Not sure how they can fix this. Suffice it to say I would not recommend the new version at all.
Mesh-Scan doesnt work on iphone 15pro
The screen while scanning in mesh-mode is always striped in red and no scanning is possible.
Good, needs work
I love it, but I wish it had a little more accuracy. I once scanned my car and it kinda looked smashed up. Otherwise it’s a great app!
Wonderful
I use this app to scan sculpture I do and document its evolution. I can do that on my mobile phone without an internet connection! Amazing!

Works well, but lacks turntable support
So far it works very well, but I can’t use a turntable which is annoying when scanning a small object

「スキャンしたデータを共有しよう」「簡単で楽しい！」というが、ちょっと違うんじゃないか。このデータはPokemon GoやIngress、おそらくGoogleにも提供されるだろうし、VR、XR、MR、ARといった拡張現実デバイスにも利用されるはず。 であるならば、今推薦というかたちでIngressやPokemon Goユーザがデータを提供しているはずだし、審査もしている。それをゲームの一環としてどんどん提供しましょう、みなさんで世界のマップを構築していきましょうというだけでなく、ゲーム内のメダルやポケストップができる、ということだけではなく正規の報酬を支払うべきだ。のちのち、ゲームに提供したデータが拡張現実デバイスなどに利用されている、という法的リスクが生じるはずだ。
Not possible to Export the photo data that’s saved
When will u make it possible to export the photo data that’s saved to the phone. I have a ton of scans I can reprocess in the app from the data taken but no way to export it so I cannot delete off my phone to make room or its lost forever. I hope you will include this in the export at some point so I can get some space back on my phone and beaver to back up my photos taken in the app . Thanks

Horrible experience
There are no options to crop out a 3D model. Every YouTube video I’ve seen about this APP shows a completely different interface and sets of options. The current version of this app is unusable.

iPhone 15 Pro mesh scanning never work since 18.4. Please fix this bug :( used to work. Otherwise splat scan is really nice and Scaniverse is first to use for scanning.

Doesn’t Work
Whenever I try and start any scan it gets stuck on the ‘move iPhone to start’ page. Even if I move it in the same way as it shows, nothing happens.
Platter Mode?
It would be great to have a “platter mode” where you have an object on a rotating platter with markers…then just arc the phone top to side to capture the 90 degrees as the object rotates.

There a way better ones for free but I just can’t get it to work.

It can fail sometimes but when it doesn’t how it looks can be either ok or really bad
Amazing app but lacking basic features
The app is mind glowingly good at its job, specifically its ability to make Gaussian splats. It’s really fast and the results are spectacular when you know what you are doing. That said, there are some features I need if I am going to use this app for professional work. The number one this I believe it needs is exposure locking, the splat gets ruined any time there is a bright light because the camera automatically adjust. To see what I mean just try making a splat of a room with a bright window and dark place as well.
Ruined with latest update
I have been here since the start of this app and had an account since it was required. Never had any issues. But with the latest update I need to migrate my account to some new site, but I can’t as I don’t have any way to migrate my account. It can’t use Sign in with Apple & am not using my Google account. So am stuck without an account now because it’s singed me out of the app in this update 😑 uploaded a scan last month. Please fix this, or at the very least let me migrate my account. (Not sure how now because am signed out)
Great for a free app
Blown away with how good this free app is, gave it 4 stars as I’m struggling to get a perfect scan but that could be how I’m trying to scan objects.

So far pretty good
New to scanning stuff but this app is easy and fun to use. Does great detail scans and being able to see peoples scans around the world of various things is great. Thinking it would be nice if you could like peoples works. Especially if people are making fine art, being able to fully see the environment and walk around makes viewing art way more interesting.
iPadで動作しなくなった
数日前からIpad で起動した後すぐフリーズしてしまうようになった。 スキャンしたデータをシェア出来るのは面白いとは思うが、本来の機能が犠牲になっているように思います。 ちなみにiPhone 15では問題なく動作しています。
Bad Mesh, Good Spats
I really hate that the mesh isn’t crisp and the floor/surface below it kind of like mushes up to the object and connects to the object your scanning and it is then a piece of junk and you have to try over and over again and it still won’t work, again because the surface is merging to the object. The splatting is good but who really uses splats? Like it can’t 3d print and it is blobs of just colour like who likes that but it is so much better looking.
Not sure how this is free
Works really well and processes amazingly fast too. Any other app this good would charge $200/year in subscription fees.

Can’t figure out how to scan a single object to turn in to a 3D model

Seems better than the room scan I am getting with Polycam, however asking me to review so early before I can actually test the app out
Not working
Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to want to process any scans. Just throws an error message on my 15 Pro Max
Good but…
App doesn’t seem to be optimised for modern iPhones with Dynamic Island. Some ui elements are hidden behind the island at the top of the screen.
What a great app!
I have been playing with big expensive 3D scanners, but in a clutch, I haven’t met an equal to Scaniverse. It’s easy and though it has its limitations, will almost always get you what you need.

New update seems to have made it worse . Losing tracking on objects and strange artifacts appearing.
