My 2 dogs LOVE butternut box!
One of my dogs have been suffering with allergies and his skin, since taking him off poultry and switching to butternut box he’s loving his new food, even when he’s finished he won’t stop licking his bowl, my other dog is really enjoying the change, she is a little over weight I’ve put her ona diet and because the food is healthier and tastes much better she hasn’t even noticed the slight decrease in food she’s getting per meal plus butternut give you weights I should be feeding my girl per meal to help with her weight lose journey
Very poor
My box arrived in a dreadful condition, torn and hardly in one piece and defrosted . There was no knock on the door and I only realised it had arrived as I came across a notification. Very poor and disappointing

got my 1st box of butternut looking so impressive all the food but just little bit disappointed because jus 7 packs of food for the money is to little its just for 7 days but was said i will get for 1 month supply for my dog or maybe i misunderstand the offer what was offered
Great food shame about delivery ☹️
Delivery could do better, during a heat wave packed with one small ice pack, left in direct sun in heat of the day as driver couldn’t be bothered to knock the door.Multiple packs defrosted, second time this has happened. Shame as the foods great, maybe it time to look at other options.
Disappointed
Delivery service lets Butternut Box down .They left my delivery outside in a public place dispite a phone for calling residents above my box .Delivery person sent photo which proves this .I live on ground floor two hundred yards from Where my box was left x Unbelievable anyone could have stolen my pet food . Lucky I saw the message.Also leaving outside on a warm day would have caused food damage. As it was chilled packed with ice I was furious. So I cancelled my subscription. Also I don’t want Sunday for my delivery day as stops my social life
13yr old Cocker
Butternut has given our dog a new lease of life and he is now in excellent condition - the food suits him very well. I have just made some changes to our plan (after 3 months) which was easy to do. Excellent value for money and our vets are delighted too. ❤️ Butternut!

Happy Dog
My dog loves her food and it is so handy to get it delivered. All dietary needs met. No worrying at what is in the food. All good stuff. I would have given it 5 stars. However, I personally found the app difficult to navigate. Sometimes it seemed as if it got stuck in a loop. Bringing me back to the homepage when I thought it was bringing me to a different part of the app.
Deliveries
Bruce loves his butternut food, deliveries used to come in the middle of the day, they now come late on Saturday it was 7.30 that food had been in a boiling hot van all day. I know you say it’s ok if it’s cold , none was still frozen, but it can’t be good. Please go back to your old delivery service. Also I was then out , so sat outside for a few more hours, if it continues to be this late I will have to cancel which would be sad after 5 years.

De porties zijn super en de honden zijn blij. Alleen jammer dat het overzicht aan porties per hond niet in totaal overzicht zichtbaar is in de App.

I would like to thank kaylin of your customer service team dated thurs 27th aug 2026, for her help sorting out the slight problem I had regarding my upcoming delivery of the 4th sept which needed extra pouches due to last minute hitch at my end. If she is an example of your customer service team you have a JEWEL of a person working for your company.many thanks for sorting my human out.

Very bad service, i did cancel subscription, still send a parcel, my dog not eat this food, much better choose Tesco wet food
Great food. Unreliable delivery
Sophie has loved every recipe and has been eating here for years. Unfortunately, deliveries are increasingly left outside without ringing the bell. Bad enough generally, but with our new record temperatures, thawing is a problem. Unsafe, so cancelled
App crashing on opening
We’ve been using BNB for well over three years. The dogs love the food and we’ve had no issues with them clearing their dishes every single time. This review is about the app. It’s constantly crashing and closing upon starting. Not even reaching the log in screen. I’ve reported this to the company but they have never replied.
Great food
My 6 month staffy is a fussy eater. So far he has eaten ALL HIS DINNER since moving to Butternut Box! We are so delighted. Butternut box has taken all the pressure off of eating times.
Diabolical service
I have waited in for 2 days and still no delivery. This is my first order, I am cancelling. All you get is sorry, lots of extra cuddles for your dog!
Prices are not clear
They apply discounts for the first 2 boxes and then the price goes up like £20
Fix your website!
Trying to order extras is sending me round in circles. I have had to give up.
Pop bags
Not any good to hard to open , gave up after several attempts, put them in the recycling bin waste of money !!!!
BEWARE
Yonks bars are dangerous. We ended up with a £6k dental bill because of the yonks bars. They are not suitable for dogs AT ALL.
Piss takers!
I cancelled my subscription & they still charged me £70 the following month!! My dog doesn’t even like it!

I was very sceptical as I’ve tried numerous dog food in the past and he would and my dog Defor would only eat fresh chicken my skepticism was soon dispelled out of the seven flavours they were only two my little Chihuahua didn’t like I would recommend this to anyone. Well done button up box
Loyalty undervalued.
Over the years have seen the cost creep up, that is fair enough as everything goes up. However, I don’t think the service is still to the same standards. Normally I get an email or message saying a delivery is due, you can alter until a certain date. Nothing this month, just an email saying payment has been taken. We normally delay as we have loads of spares. Come to the delivery, got the message saying it would be delivered at a time. My wife was out but didn’t worry. I have come home to find the box round the side of the house, in the warm weather. No message saying it had been delivered which would have reminded us. The product had thawed, which we are not happy with. The website says that is safe, but are wary. On the website , the delivery was posted as 5 hours before the box was brought in. Will have to see how things go before deciding if to stay
No delivery
Whilst my dog loves the food, my most recent delivery never arrived. Although another box of food was arranged, the delivery was arranged for two days later, this meant shopping elsewhere. Let’s hope it’s a one off.

Hele fijne app maar sinds ongeveer een week crasht de app continu bij openen. Dit maakt de app onbruikbaar, anders 5 sterren.
Great start
My fussy eater Mr. Pickles just adored his first Butternut meal, not seen him eat that well for a long time, fingers crossed this continues. As for Lily, well she’ll eat almost anything but it was obvious she enjoyed it as much as her brother from another mother. Thank you
Impossible to contact
No way to contact, l have to keep on top of it to change the dates as I can’t cancel, I only have one fog now not 3 and she doesn’t like it. They have stopped emailing you notice and will just take the money and send food my dog won’t eat. Great food if your dog likes it.
Poor customer service
Great food when it arrives - happy dog and owner. Missed deliveries and no communication or response to chat messages and no one picks up the phone. Hungry dog and angry owner :(

For a while this app just immediately crashes. I have deleted and reinstalled countlessly. I don’t even get to a login screen.
App not functional the right way
The app works fine till thr app crashes out of the blue. Everytime I want to see sometime, the app crashes again and again. Can you please fix this?
Great App and Great Food
AI helper Fin is excellent. Really well designed. The food range is also great. I have gone through every flavour that is suitable for my two dogs and they have decided on the chicken and duck duo as the one they want everyday. The others are fine but they are super happy when they get their duo pouch. I like that the pouches can come in different sizes. The 200g pouch each day works perfectly for us. My dogs eat their food with no fuss.

From Tummy Troubles to Tail Wags: How Butternut Box Transformed our Dog’s life
We first discovered Butternut Box at a local summer fair in our neighbourhood. Alex, who was running the Butternut Box stand, introduced us to the food, and our Rio loved it straight away. Rio is a rescued Cocker Spaniel, and since we adopted him in April, he’d been struggling with diarrhoea despite us trying several different kibbles and having him checked by our vet. Alex took the time to explain all the benefits of Butternut Box and was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and patient with us. We decided to give it a try for two weeks, and Rio is like a completely different dog! He’s so much happier, gets incredibly excited every time it’s mealtime, and is thriving. We honestly couldn’t be happier with the difference we’ve seen. We’d also like to say a huge thank you to Marie from the Customer Service team, who was so thoughtful and caring when she called to check how Rio was getting on, and to everyone at Butternut Box for creating such an amazing experience. We honestly couldn’t be happier – and neither could Rio!
Customer service slow and unhelpful
Delivery arrived 24 hours earlier than scheduled whilst we were still out of the country on holiday. Apron arriving home food defrosted and warm. Unable to use or re freeze. 36 hours later still trying to resolve the issue with three different members of customer services. Still no resolution
