OMO my slimming buddy
OMO is the only weight aid to keep me focused. I am in competition with it. It works for me and I get encouragement every day. I can’t wait to weigh myself every morning. It may fluctuate but ultimately my weight is reducing . I eagerly log my meals and I don’t cheat because I am the only one who sees it. No guilty conscience! I love the lessons and I have learnt a lot I feel I should know or perhaps should have been taught earlier. I like the fact that lessons always give the source for facts either university research or studies in a journal. I didn’t put the weight on in a month so I recognise I won’t lose it all in a month. But it keeps me on my toes whether I’m at home or out to lunch or on holiday. I love knowing my calorie intake and what is remaining to use and plan my meals accordingly. I also like knowing protein, carbs and fat amounts consumed. Again it makes it easier to make the correct choices.
Does not refund when promised.
I have been trying out various intermittent fasting/diet apps and thought I’d give OMO a go. In the app the uploading of foods kept glitching and the app would start flickering and would not upload any foods when I would be inputting a meal with more than three items. It only allows Apple Watches to be connected to the movement/exercise part. I have a Garmin which I feel a lot of people have so the app does not record this data. Also after my discounted trial ended they took £29+ for only 3 months which is just short of £20 pm which puts OMO on the more expensive side. Also it did not show the next subscription in the app and I believe I cancel it. They took the money anyway, then stated they would refund but to date still haven’t. So the App still has bad glitches, it’s expensive for what it is and doesn’t connect to Garmin products. Also the customer service is not good. Do better for the price!
Great product
Omo is easy to use on a daily basis and covers all the bases. The different methods of imputing meals data is easy to use take a photo scan a barcode or type it in manually and save to favourites if you eat it often. The fasting is a game changer and taught me why and how to work with my body and not against it specifically (Fast like a girl helped too). There is no phone customer service this can get confusing and complicated. I’ve been using fasting and meals sections for 5 months and I have seen some improvement in health and some weight loss. More importantly it helped me learn what my body needs nutritionally and what is too much even of the good stuff. Best rounded method I’ve seen so far for gradually changing my life style for the better. The workouts section is fantastic. I waded my way into it over time and now I can do the minimum every day and am almost ready to challenge myself further. The menu and recipies are good options but I would like to have more say in how I create the menu for my specific food sensitivities. I.e no capsicum or black beans, or yes to goat no to cow. It does give good dairy,gluten-free and vegan options if you need which is great. In the latest update the workout videos glitch and the app closes randomly which can disrupt flow. Hopefully they fix this in the next update
Missing the AI Coach
I signed up for the year, admittedly at a reduced price. Since then I had no access to the Coach, but every day I keep being told that the Coach missed me, but if I clicked on it, I was told the Coach was having a power nap and to check back later. This Coach sleeps a lot!!
Lost data
Adequate for the purpose of tracking macros, calories and timing of fasting periods. But the app lost all my weight loss data over a 10 months period. It could not be restored and since then every once in awhile it loses my tracking data and restarts the graphs. I’m running out my prescription. There are no humans to interact with. Even help seems AI powered. Could be so much better supported.
Great start
Super cool app. Just starting, but looks like a very good one. Great structure, lots of good information and help. Thank you
fraudulent app do not get this no way to cancel taking £ 38 a month
DO NOT GET THIS
Very helpful
Suggest to allow different exercises as fitness progression to be logged…
Nothing really for an obligatory payment
When you open the app, you can’t go anywhere without having selected a forfait. And it is not a great app. BASIC BASIC BASIC stuff.
Coach unavailable
Enjoyed the daily hint knowledge centre. The meal plans are ok but unrealistic for a family who likes basic meals.
Like the ease of use
Once u learn the app its easy to use. Reminds me of WW but on steroid’s. I have more areas to play with but really like it! .
Avoid
Lots of reviews stating the same. Randomly received a pending transaction for £66 for OMO re-downloaded it to see what I had signed up for. No subscriptions or anything on there active to why I was charged. Same for others. Gone through my bank to get refunded. Do not use!!!!
Appli au top
Une application que l’on peut utiliser facilement. On développe rapidement l’automatisme d’enregistrer nos repas, suivre les rappels d’hydratation…
Why should you have to pay
The apple looked absolutely incredible but as soon as I wanted to start my weight loss journey it said I need to pay, which is absolutely stupid because it’s like why should I have to pay to help me make myself healthy and like all weight loss apps make you have to pay so if anybody has any suggestions that you don’t have to pay can you please like comment that or whatever
Works good but some failings
Bar code scanning doesn’t work the greatest and choosing serving sizes on items is sometimes difficult
Barbs 1st day
So far so good
Do not trust the app with your financial details. They keep taking money out.
I haven’t got a sub active anymore but they still take money out. Took £66 just now.Horrible
Great except for one thing
I love the OMO app - it’s really helped me to become more mindful about my health choices. I feel so much better after one month. By one beef is the quiz questions are often truncated and I can’t figure out what the options are. Sort this and the app will be perfect!
Not without its problems
Let’s be clear… six months ago, I would have easily given this app a 5-star review. However, after extensive use, I’ve come to realize that this app is fundamentally flawed in multiple critical areas, and it appears stuck in its limitations for the foreseeable future. Initially, I loved it because it actually works. I dropped from 224lbs to as low as 184lbs, but I had to stop because the weight loss didn’t suit me. Here’s the core issue: I explored other apps, and it's astonishing how much more advanced they are. This app pales in comparison. Let me outline the significant problems that prevent this app from becoming anything more than mediocre. 1. **Lack of Updates and Features:** This is a major drawback. There are countless macro apps that surpass this one significantly. I find Weight Watchers has the best interface, but I dislike their point system. 2. **Inaccurate Food Database:** The app suffers from a poor food database devoid of a community or oversight to ensure accuracy. You’ll find several entries for the same items with inconsistent macros—sometimes even in French! This complicates usage, especially for non-French speakers. I’ve reported these inaccuracies repeatedly, yet they persist. It’s clear that the developers have prioritized profit over improvements. 3. **Food Creation Limitations:** When creating a custom food entry, you can’t adjust or update your recipe. It does not calculate anything for you, so you’re left doing all the math manually. Make a mistake? Too bad; you can’t delete your custom recipe and start fresh—a problem that’s gone unaddressed for years. 4. **Subscription Issues:** After shelling out $79 for an annual subscription, you quickly realize you’re being upsold to access Omo’s meal plan, which costs an additional $70. This is outrageous for what should be included already. With the questionable quality of user-entered data, I have serious doubts about the integrity of these meal plans. Updates or improvements? Don’t hold your breath; there’s been no communication about any changes. 5. **Minor Yet Annoying Details:** The absence of a dark mode is bothersome—staring at a bright white screen at night is a strain on the eyes. The AI coach feature is non-functional, so it’s time to remove it altogether. And the CBT plans are simply inadequate. The app needs to allow for true recipe creation with ingredient tracking and calculations, as well as an option to delete duplicates of meals I've entered multiple times. If these problems aren’t resolved soon, I won’t hesitate to walk away from this app, despite my previous attachment. In reality, this app is little more than a glorified calculator. I fully expect a generic AI-generated response to this feedback, with no real consideration for my concerns. I’ve taken the time to articulate my thoughts because I genuinely care about this app—it has potential but needs significant improvement to live up to it. If I at least get a developer response responding to my concerns ill bump this up to a 2-stars, ill easily bump it up to a 4-5 if within the next 6 month I start seeing some future update. Lastly, you know this isn't a fake review, based off of the depth detailed information in this long but necessary review.
Not really worth the money
I’ve used a few different apps and had hoped for something different. This app claimed to be built for women by women, so I figured it must be different. The only way it’s different is it harps on you non stop to take a drink, to log your meals, to log your weight. I have never had any app interrupt my day so often or annoy me nearly half as much as this one. You spend far too much money to have your phone go off all the time. Save your money, watch your calories, exercise and eat right. I’m so disappointed that I spent any money to begin with. Had I known it was the exact same as every other “weight loss” app I never would have paid a dime, but there was no free trial or anything. Lesson learned
Best so far
So far OMO is the best app I’ve experienced. Every other one I signed up for I backed out of because none of them had sustained support like Omo has. Hope it continues!

Good meals
Hi, I love the meals and tracking options but wish I could track inches when the scale does not move
Membership
I actually really liked this app to count calories and track overall weight and health but out of nowhere, it will not let me use the app at all without the membership options popping up and will not go away or let me exit out as if it’s TRYING to get me to pay for the personalized plan like?? If i wanted to I would, i went without one for over a year and now I can’t even use the app anymore without it popping up which is annoying. Will not be using anymore
Jo Jo
My daughter has inspired me. I scan my daily meal and Attempt to cut back as much as I can. This app makes me take ownership of what I eat and drink. I have started fasting which is new to me so will see how successful I am …. I’ll update in a few months. God bless everyone
I endeavour for change
I’m endeavouring for a 180 with the Omo Health app, and so far, it’s been absolutely brilliant—definitely a five-star experience! The app offers a seamless and engaging way to stay on track with my fitness and wellness goals. From personalized workout plans to motivational challenges, it keeps me accountable without feeling overwhelming. The AI-driven coaching and habit-tracking features are a game-changer, making it easier to build consistency. Plus, the user-friendly interface and well-structured programs help me stay motivated. Whether you’re starting fresh or looking to push yourself further, Omo makes the journey enjoyable. Highly recommended!
Scam
Wish I had read the other reviews before getting this app. The app itself is really not very good at all. It has less features than other similar apps and is more expensive. Even after you pay to use, you only have access to the most basic features. For example you cannot plan your means for the next day, even with the paid account. It has an ai coach that wakes you up multiple times throughout the night. It’s impossible to turn off. Even the ‘help team’ could not turn this off. I eventually had to delete the app. They also took money from my bank account and refused to reimburse me. Then one of their employees harassed me with passive aggressive emails. If you are looking for a weight loss calorie tracking app I recommend ‘lose it’ user friendly, much better features. 0/10 I do not recommend Response to Omo: I did all of these things you suggested. The problems continued. I emailed your customer support team multiple times. They were unhelpful and rude and began harassing me with constant passive aggressive emails after I told them repeatedly to stop contacting me. Further response: stop emailing me
Works really well
Works really well and can view trackers, get reminders, learn about nutrition if you want to but don’t have to. Only annoying part is liquids are in US oz
Doesn’t track proper
I use all organic, low calorie, low fat, vegan options. And it’s doesn’t let me put that in my meals. I make all my own meals with natural ingredients. Today it said I had 59 grams of total fat and what I ate was maybe 6g. You also aren’t asking about any medical conditions.
Nutritional Tracker Needs Work
The nutritional tracker is very limited. The portion sizes are hard to correct and the measurements are American. Also wrong product information on many things. I am sticking with My FitnessPal.
Nuts about milk
Really good. I need the regular prompts it gives throughout the day. Lots of advice in small bites. I love how the hydration is in separate groups so you can record what actually drink , water, tea, juice ,alcohol etc. But the milk option only seems to be for cows milk. No nut or soy options. Can the developers look at this please.
Just another expensive calorie counting app
This app should come with a warning for people who have had previous eating disorders. After paying my £25.99 I and gaining access I realised that it had a set amount of calories for the day. Not something I feel comfortable doing at all and I feel I've wasted my money.
Omo wow
I like - water reminder -road map Every day lessons The funny design No pressure to perform but support That s it got the fort day🌺
A lot of promise
The app promises a lot. It claims to give one tools to loose weight for menopausal women. However, it doesn’t seem to differ from other apps like Noom. It is unclear what the special tools are and how they work.
Not sure
Only been a day, and not really sure what I have paid for? As another app I use to use has the same but free! It’s say it tells you your food pattern but I haven’t received anything like that. You have to pay extra for meal ideas too which I thought that was what I would be getting that’s why I signed up. May be I have missed something along the way and someone could guide me please
omo app ,
i love this app but it’s too expensive for me ,the trial fee was okay and i didn’t know i’ll be charged £38.something after and am sure i unsubscribed but all the same i emailed them to get a refund as am not ready for that amount.but i was told i can’t get the money back and they made me an offer that i couldn’t refuse, they gave me a year without any payment and the subscription is also cancelled which to my surprise it a good deal so i took it thank you omo.so please before you subscribe make sure you read and understand what you are purchasing.
Will keep taking your money
A lot of money for what it is, will continue taking money from you unless you cancel your subscription online only. Do not just simply delete the app or cancel the Apple subscription, this will not be enough!!
Good but
A option for metric weights would be good
Not great
Not easy to use much better apps out there. Can’t add excersise. Some things don’t scan
Intentionally upselling
Be careful when buying app, the moment you click to pay for your week/month etc subscription it changes to premium in the exact same spot, meaning you accidentally knock it and are £48 out of pocket with no chance to confirm/decline, so a £15 trial has now cost me £60+ which obviously is a massive amount that I can ill afford! Update; I did contact support and they were very helpful and sorted it
So far so good
I’ve lost 1.5kg so far in 10 days , I’m 5 months postpartum so this is an amazing achievement for me especially on such little sleep and breastfeeding:))
Beware
Predatory pricing, no reminder trial period is ending and shocking customer service. Be warned
Some options are easy to use but not so
The coach is a good option. The meals are not the usual meals that I cook I found it difficult to login. The ones that I ate the meals login options could be made a little bit easier.
Be wary
Was supposed to be £15 a month but some months took up to £38 out of my account.
Difficult to find foods
Not enough goods come up when sesrched . Very hard to search food. No pictures to compare to search
Pay only app - no free version
Great app but you have to pay to open any feature!! Moving to another app which is FREE!!
Sarah Sharpe
Nothing I do not already know 😢 Subscribed due to ALL the advertisements and then saw the price - would like a refund please x
Love it
Took a while to start using it but once I did it was extremely helpful definitely recommend
Inaccurate nutritional information
Adding food to the diary is not user-friendly and the nutritional information is inaccurate when scanning barcode. I scanned bread, the description was correct but you can’t add the serving size as slices, you have to use either grams or ounces. When I added the amount of grams, the nutritional info that calculated was not at all like the label. It’s only day 1, but I’m already regretting my decision.
Good morning and execute program are not included in the price
You have to pay extra for food and exercise program, so the cost of the app is just for a few lessons on basic nutrition knowledge and reminders to drink and exercise. I'm giving it another 2 days to see if a miracle happens before I ask for a refund.
