So fun!
Don’t touch this app
This is my first review of an app ever. I have done a lot of trial apps to see if they are the right fit. I DID NOT like this app, no biggie, wasn’t right for me. Tried to cancel immediately during trial, then tried to cancel after being charged, and thought I had. Just got a new $119 charge and they will not refund. I will now be going to see which other apps I have that are associated this parent company and canceling those apps.
Rewind
Enjoyed. Have problem with my right and left. Remedy - practice. Missed part of the first steps and couldn’t find a way to get back to the beginning
Beware of the small prints
There are many much cheaper options. After trying one week’s trial, I was not going to renew. Right at the minute the trial was over, they already auto-renewed and charged me 10 times the price I paid for the trail!
Love the workouts but the rarely add included new workouts
3.5 stars. I love the variety of dances and the instructors. I don’t like that they started charging extra for everything but the basics which they never add to. I also feel like they should give free trials to their subscriptions like the new lymphatic system. Not paying $9 when there is hardly any information about what you would actually get
Dancebit
I still think it’s fun and I enjoy all the different trainers. Thank You, Dancebit!
THE APP DOES NOT APPEAR IN APPLE APP STORE SUBSCRIPTIONS
I was very disappointed with my experience using the Dancebit app, and when I tried to cancel, I was left confused and out of pocket. The company says its terms are transparent, but I did not find that to be true because the app does not appear in the Apple App Store's Subscriptions section, and cancelling the subscription is not straightforward. Cancelling the subscription, which, by the way, is set to auto-renew, is not easy. The only way to cancel is to go to their website, log in, and cancel there. Don’t be fooled like I was by just checking the Apple App Store Subscriptions and assuming that because it doesn’t appear there, it must have been cancelled. Personally, I found their website very difficult to navigate, and the process of cancelling my subscription was confusing. That might be because I am neurodivergent and a filthy millennial, but the graphic designer in me wonders if it was very much intentional. When you try to cancel, the process is repeatedly interrupted by them asking why you wish to leave and offering a cheaper membership (if you would just stay!) – I liken this bizarre and frankly disjointed communication to breaking up with a toxic narcissist who won’t accept it is over and keeps speaking over you. You end up wondering if you have succeeded in actually cancelling the subscription and if they have actually listened at all. When I reached out to the app for help and asked for a refund, the so-called “helpful” person told me right away that they don’t give refunds and shut down any further communication. They did not respond to my replies. The app itself is not great and not worth the cost of the subscription, and personally, I found I lost more weight by actually going to real dance-fitness groups, where I made real friends and built a community around me. I feel scammed and wouldn’t recommend this app. When I tried to report my experience to Apple App Store, I wasn’t able to because they do not feature in the App Store Subscriptions!
Like
I think I will like this, but I still would like to have my 13.99?back that I was double for
Can’t stream
Couldn’t stream to the tv. Bit small to do from a phone
Workout!
That was a workout! Good concentration on arms, sides, back & front.
Great and fun
Even of moves are dificulte just follow the rythm
DO NOT USE!!
Signed up for one week to try it out for £7. Then another £57 was just taken from my account without my permission. Extortionate prices and charlatan ways. I want my money back!! Save yourself from being utterly ripped off and avoid!! Wish I’d read the other reviews and not got involved with these scammers . . .
More Reggaeton, Por Favor!
I’d love more specific kinds of dance, especially Reggaeton and advanced hip hop. I would also love to see the ability to change the tempo of the dance practice to match the music if you decide to find your own music to dance to. Otherwise, this is a very fun fitness app and would recommend to anyone who likes to have fun for their workouts.
Décevant
Je n ai meme pas eu l occasion d essayer l application qu on me demande déjà de payer. Surprise et déçue.
Very fun
It’s very fun. It’s pretty cool.
Loved it
This was so much fun, with a reminder to keep the stress low and the workout fun!
Unauthorized charges
In March I purchased the Dancebit app and paid the full-year subscription price. It is not due to be renewed until March 2027. Today, June4th, they tried charging my credit card $158.99…5 times the price of the original subscription! I will be contacting the BBB and the fraud alert line.
All
So far
It’s ok…
It’s alright, some of the workouts are enjoyable and burn decent calories but I’m disappointed that although I’ve paid for premium I still have to pay for the programs. I think that’s really unfair and deceptive to be honest.
Great app
Most are really great workouts with great instructions. Fun and intense
Ugh
I wish the app was the same as the current ads online. I love their simplicity and the fun of their movements. But the app doesn’t work that way, unfortunately. I am going to stop it, and just follow the ads when they come on until I can remember the moves and do them on my own.
Looks like a fun app
I think it’s too expensive for an app, I think I’d rather continue going to the gym
Payant
Ils disent gratuit, ce n’est pas gratuit, c’est l’installation qui est gratuit, mais l’application est payante une fois le téléchargement fait donc télécharger et immédiatement désinstaller
No refund
I didn’t realize they doubled the price. They withdraw automatically from your account. When I realized this, I asked for a refund…not possible.
Fun
I love that the workouts are fun and low key. I enjoy dancing and this is becoming one of my favorite exercises. It’s nice that I can revisit workouts I enjoyed before.
Keep charging you
They keep charge you even after unSubscription
Country Dance Opportunity
I’m really glad to see that Dancebit has added Country Dance to their routines. Victoria does a great job of breaking down and communicating the steps. I would like Dancebit to take advantage of an opportunity that is largely overlooked. I’m not sure of the exact number of Line Dances already being done at various events, in lots of different venues, including bars that cater to the country crowd, there’s probably a fair number that are already choreographed. There are very few apps that teach the Line Dances already in existence. I hope they will take action and have Victoria break these down and teach them. I don’t know why this opportunity is mostly overlooked but it is, I know I would love to learn to do dances like the “Boot Scoot Boogie” just to name one, through an app I already like. Maybe Dancebit is only interested in coming up with original material. This just seems like an obvious and easy way to expand their dance catalog.

Exercise fun?
LOVING the Dancebit app! I always finish my workout with a smile on my face!
Fraudulent
Continues to try take £69.99 plus other amounts out my bank consistently recently despite me not having set up an account after the free trial. Do not download
Great for beginners and non movers
4 weeks ago I moved from my back room to my front room twice a day and that was it. I ached standing up and walking for anymore than 3 mins left me breathless and achy. I started doing 5-7mins of Dance Fit each day. Now I do 25-30mins every day and I have added some muscle strengthening exercises after my dancing. I also walk 25mins a day. This is a brilliant way to get started on moving a little each day.
Sandra
I am still waiting for the country dance workout which was advertised as starting today
Casting Issues
App is fun. But can not use with Chromecast. Disappointing
All dance
Very interesting
Beware Early Charges
The app is pretty good, but my subscription was set to run from Jan. to July 2026. In mid-April, I was charged $75 for the renewal. I have cancelled and saved a screenshot of the confirmation in case this happens again.
Little sample
Lovely energy and smile - had to stop for a work meeting, but wanted to sample a bit
Not enough
The workouts are to short and not hard enough ever.

Great App!
Right now, my biggest priority is getting into a workout regimen that I will stick to, and this app is doing a great job of fine tuning my daily workouts to my ability! The workouts themselves are also a lot of fun to do 🙂
Scam!!! Will automatically charge you, w/out warning 4 x what you will pay for any trial amount!!
Dance videos are not engaging, not worth the price I paid for the trial $29.99, let alone what they automatically charged me which was $164. I was charged for a quarterly renewal with no reminder email. They claimed their “policy terms” were clearly stated when subscription was started. This is false, it was absolutely not “clearly” stated when I purchased and I was not sent any emails from them, the first communication I ever received from them is when I contacted them about being charged for this automatic subscription. Anytime I start a trial that has an “automatic subscription” I put a reminder in my phone to cancel, which I didn’t do, that is how I know this is 100% false. They are intentionally misleading and now having read other reviews I am afraid I will continue to get fraudulently charged. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS APP!!!! One other thing these 5 star reviews have got to be fake!
Doesnt count workouts played on another device
Lots of fun on the journey to loose your weight but if you I.e. lose your primary device still on the same account and it’s count overe there as done, it’s not counted and you’re loosing points. Unfair and discouraging.
Dancebit has server issues & won't load > 50% of the time, waste of money despite good videos
Dancebit has serious server issues. When you write Support they blame it on your Internet but all other apps work. Waste of money although the videos I did get to do in the 50% of time it does work, were good
Frustrated
Hard to find workout without spending more time avoiding spending more money
It’s a lot of fun
It is fun. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I had fun and she explained it really well so I knew what I was doing and the time went by so quickly. I would recommend this app to anyone who wants to get fit and dance. I am glad to be doing this at home and not out in front of others. Having a lot of fun and learning some dance moves not ready for Saturday night fever lol but I feel like I am getting in better shape Learning so well I really am enjoying this while I’m getting into shape. Sometimes I feel like doing a previous dance and I like the fact that I can do it if I want to cause most of the instruand having fun and getting into shape I can feel it I can truthfully say I love it and I am still learning and having fun. I am in a lot better shape now and happier when I am dancing with the different instructors with the different styles. Thank you. My family has noticed and they say I seem stronger all around even my attitude. Thank you. I am oon another dance set lol just when I thought I had the last danxe steps down it got upped on me but still learning and having fun. My grandson said “grandma your calfs are huge” and yhat keeps pushing me on. Tried some new things and I am having a great time but its easy to have fun and learn new dances when you have good teachers. I still do some of the things I have already done for two reasons. The first is because I enjoy them and the second reason is to keep doing the dances so I don’t forget them and to make sure that I have the movements right. I am still having fun and learning new moves but I like to do some of the dances that I have already done because I want to make sure I’m doing the steps right and they are fun. I am getting fit. My grandson said to me “ grandma your calfs are huge!” In complete amazement! Boy did that make my day, I couldn’t stop smiling. I think I am finally getting the hang of some of the dances and not just trying to go through the motions. I am still having fun and building my muscle and confidence. I would recommend this app for everyone. I have a bad back and joints but most of the exercises are done with people having problems and they tell you if there is something you can not do don’t worry just scale it back and keep going. I feel better than I have felt in a long time. Like most of the instructors say this iis for you so work hard and enjoy it. I am learning so much like the proper way to stand and hold yourself for different exercises. I didn’t know that it mattered but if you are the moves for you and I like the saying lworking on your core you hold yourself one way but if you are working on your legs you hold your body a different angle. The dance steps are becoming more advanced and while I am learning the moves I am definitely not as graceful but I am working at it. I have met some new instructors and they are as good and likable as the first ones I met. They all break down the moves. The sayings are great “this is your workout” and “have fun with it “. I am really happy that I signed up with the hospital in Philly for test and I was doing DanceBit in the hotel room. That’s another great thing about this app is that you can do it anywhere. I love it.DanceBit. There are days I am tired or not feeling great but I think I will do the best that I can today and the next thing I know I am getting really into it and I feel better. We were traveling, a short trip across the state It’s been about 6 months since I started DanceBit and I still love it and I am still having fun. My grandson said’grandma your calfs are huge!’ They are defined and I love it! I worked hard for those huge calf muscles lol. My doctor was impressed the last time I was in there, October. I go back in January and he said you will have to teach me to salsa. He asked my daughter if she was going to salsa with us and she said no I am going to make it video lol. I recommend this to all. I can walk further without getting out of breath. It’s great! I don’t remember how many months I have been dancing with DanceBit and I still love it and I am still having fun. My family and my doctor have noticed the changes to my body and my attitude. They say I am more like my old self happy and upbeat. I just started a new dance type today lol. I need some practice lol but iit was fun. The instructors are all great so far I have not met one I didn’t like. Recommend
Free?
Says it’s Free but it isn’t
Just what I needed 😉
It is very effective in getting me to start moving. The only thing that would work better for me is to be able to choose a more advanced routine for my daily challenge activity. The activity it allocates is always a beginner one and although I just subscribed I prefer a faster routine.
Too basic
I paid the money but lost interest really quick, aimed more at retirement aged I think . Waist for me.
Good app but
I like the app, the dances are good and good for active breaks. Issue is they suddenly wiped all my progress after I got to 2nd place - the “gift” for getting to 2nd place was to get a program of my choice . I’d didn’t receive the program and when I contacted support about this all my progress and history was wiped. They said there is no account under my email but there is as I paid through apple pay, I have an active subscription and I am logged in. I also joined the 28 day challenge and was a couple weeks in and that was all cleared too - back to day one. Added: In response to Developer response… I have contacted support. I have been sent in circles with numerous advisers, mainly ignoring what the issue is. No resolution I’m afraid yet.
