This site is NOT working
This app Campspot has NOT been working . I have called in three times spent more the hr on the phone with three different agents to be told there is nothing wrong with the site ? Huh then why when I log in can i see my personal information ,But have NO past or present reservations? We Have to pay a booking fee at every reservation! But no one can help with my issue…….

We just love the convenience of stopping late night on the way to the gulf. Very hospitable!
Nice place no facilities
This was a well manicured place. Only 6 sites available and we were the only camper. The park attendant answered the phone and we arrived late. He answered our questions and said there was a 25% discount due to no functional facilities. We had electricity and water and as stated, no bathroom facilities. There was not a discount given on the website. Manager stated the discount was already calculated into the rate. I thought the rate would be lower. Nevertheless, it was a clean site and many people were walking on a Saturday morning.
With a few additional features this app could be awesome
The app is great for finding campgrounds in my search area, but… 1) Since you ask me to enter my dates, why can’t you filter out campgrounds with no availability? I have to go into each campground’s page, just to see they have no availability for the dates/criteria I entered. This is a BIG waste of time. 2) Please provide a link to the campground’s website, if one is available. It would be nice to see all the extra info that is only available on the web, like campground rules, downloadable maps, etc.
Reservations
Campspot has been wonderful for verifying/checking reservation. I wish more campgrounds would take advantage of this platform
Not great
Sadly it doesn’t let me review any of the campgrounds. We have stayed at terrible campgrounds because the reviews are grossly inaccurate. The “campground “ we’re at now isn’t even a campground! It’s a very old trailer park that is using Campspot to temporarily fill in empty mobile home sites and the hosts are rude. We’ve only found one good campground using this app.
Not enough server capacity
When trying to book on Campspot, they don’t have enough server support. When trying to book on 3-22-26, three people including myself, when we thought we were booked for 4 separate dates, then calling actual campground. We found out that our actual dates we booked, never saved because Campspot servers had crashed. We had to book through the actual campground itself, and we are now scattered throughout the campground, and not side by side as we thought when booking through Campspot. They need to do better, not happy.
Not accurate
Booked a campsite that was shown to have a restaurant and bar, store, etc. looked great. Got there and the restaurant and store were closed. Bathrooms were gross. Won’t be using this app again.

App lacks core functionality and they have very few parks in their system.
I want to use our small trailer in a nice southern MD park. I would appreciate a map view with all parks, or typing MD or Maryland, and seeing a map or at least a list. Apparently they have only two MD parks.

Just searched for Tofino on Vancouver island and the geo match identified camp sites on the mainland and as far south at Washington state. Needs a bit of work.

We haven’t been here since 2020 and the new owners have done a fabulous job. It is absolutely beautiful here and will stay again soon!
Useless. No Customer Service
The app is garbage. Impossible to obtain an email to confirm my account. I have numerous reservations for which I was charged “reservation fees” which have never been confirmed and which I cannot access on the app. 2 emails to “customer service” have been completely ignored. Avoid this app and company.

Disappointed in this app
We used to be able to easily make a campsite reservation to our favorite campground, and this app is not as user friendly as the old one. Plus they charge $25 if you cancel your reservation, and they make you actually pay $10 to "lock in" extra on top of the increased fee of $50 (for no extra bathroom or shower campground features). Very disappointing!

Abysmal
This app is a joke. I have it installed only because the rv campground where I stay year round uses it. Every month they send me a notification to pay my lot rent. But when I click on the link within the email that does open this app; but after that the link “Invoice & Payment” in the app does not open and all that I see is a default message that says “url will not open”. This is a trash app.
Easy and organized
I love this app. It provides lots of options, handles booking and keeps track of everything in one place- so we can remember what spots we had for rebooking. Have yet to find a place through this App that wasn’t great- did find some losers when I ventured away!

Even though I have a confirmation number, I still cannot look up the reservation.
