What they complain about
- Ads block you from finishing exercises
- Screen locks up and stops the timer
- Voice guidance is annoying or broken
- Progress jumps are too fast for beginners
All I needed.
And ads allow rest betwen sections. Nice
Ads, ads, ads …
The frequency and placement of the ads makes the app almost impossible to use.
Great app
Great app.
No Voice prompt
The voice doesn’t work so you can’t keep track of the time.
Ads
I am fine with ads really but when the comes up and you push the x to close it, it should close. IT DOES NOT!!! Very frustrating to say the least. I’m just trying to keep on track and to document what I am doing but the ads get stuck and it looks like I’m missing days. Ugh!! Working out should not be frustrating too.
Phenomenal app
I just finished my first 30 day challenge and I absolutely loved using this app! The fact that you can do as many practice planks as you want, makes it next level. The only changes I would recommend is units of five for the practice timer and a way to keep track of how many you’ve done. Overall, I cannot recommend this app enough! The update is absolutely wonderful! Been using this for a year, now, so impressed with the new update! Thank you for making it easier to track everything!
Useless
Ads won’t go away to allow you to continue after your plank. Unusable.
Does what it says
Finished the challenge. Wish there was a next step.
Would give 5 stars if I can get rid of ads
Good app progress is good.
Get rid of ads
Or at least make it purchasable to get rid of them.
Needed a good plank app
This app is great for keeping my planking on schedule. Thanks.
Hard to complete the day
As soon as the timer expires, an ad pops up and I can’t get it to disappear to complete the day.
Have app visible all the time.
Great app. Need to keep app visible during exercise and go to black.
Plank time increases way to fast
The time to increase the plank hold increases in 30 second increments which I feel is way to quick. It should increase in increments of possibly 10 seconds. It appears the program is designed to get you to a 5 min plank hold in a 30 day window that’s it’s not taking the time to focus on its customers
Useful, but not quite there
The voice and the timer don’t match.
❤️
Perfect. Simple and practical.
Ads!
I enjoy the app but the ads that pop up are unbearable, therefore I am deleting the app 7 days in. Sometimes the ads come on the screen before I can even click the complete button. Today this happened and there was no way to exit the ad.
Уход в фоновый режим
Минус в том что экран отключается как при бездействии. Неудобно очень. Доработайте пожалуйста
Просто таймер с календарем
Просто таймер с календарем, не то, что искал
The ads are super annoying
Right when you are trying to hit the complete button for your daily exercise, advertisements pop up. At times you hit them on accident. Other times you aren’t given an option to close them. Super annoying
Does what it says
Just what I was looking for to get better at plank
Constant, Long forced advertising
This too-simple app is purely abusive with forced advertising. Save yourself frustration and just use your phone’s timer. Hold a plank for these lengths for 2 days each: -20 sec -30 sec -45 sec -1:00 Then 3 days each: -1:15 -1:30 -1:45 -2:00 That roughly 3 weeks. Your core will be good. Blood pressure likely decreased.
💜
Good app and a like the reminder
Sound doesn’t always work!
Sound doesn’t always work
No way to turn off ads
Every time you want to complete a session, you have to watch a looong ad… And there’s no way to block it, only if you turn off the Internet. I’d be happy to pay to turn off ads, since this app deserves it for doing it’s job perfectly fine without any additional garbage like other apps (it’s just simple and efficient), but there’s no option for it!
Nice
Love it !!!!
No 31 days timer - wasted a month
…..
iPhone goes to sleep while doing the exercise
Hey developers, this app is great, very simple to use. Please update so iPhone won’t go to sleep while doing the exercises.
Bad timing
Time at ops after 20s and I should entering the exercise.
Ok program
I like the program and the timer but I hate that it doesn’t stay on! Very distracting to have to tap or reopen the screen in the middle of a time!!!!
I Chris Vassel approve this app
I highly recommend people download this app. It’s a progression and use it during your workouts.
The iPhone screen locks during workout?!
That’s unbelievable, the screens locks after 30 seconds during the exercise and the time stops! While you trying to unlock it standing in plank position and find out the countdown stopped. Adding every time at least additional 10 seconds to my workout! Come on! It’s an east sw fix!
Beginner friendly
This is a great way to start a good habit. Would like to be able to set time goals.
Can’t complete
Can’t complete the current day and progress to the next day because I can’t exit out of the ad after it runs. The X to exit out is in upper left corner And not accessible. Therefore, the ap does not allow me to complete the day. Will have to delete since I can’t use it
Love
I have enjoyed this app but I would like to be able to see the minutes in the days I’ve already done and see what’s to come.
simple perfection…except
while so many fitness apps try to be everything to everyone, this app stays focused: it does one thing, and it does it well. simple. elegant. perfect. the only complaint i have is the ads; i’d gladly pay to disable then.
Persistent Ads
Cant get out of the ads after completing exercise.
Annoying adverts
It’s a good app but it gets frustrating when at the end of the time an asvtpops up which won’t go aaay and you can’t then continue the process so have to repeat the day’s exercises the next day and hope the advert doesn’t cause the same issue again
Sleep Mode
Phone goes to sleep. App quits counting and you don’t know when you are finished.
timer is great
the timer is great - but the woman’s voice us brutal. i dread it.
Kept me going…
However the jump from day 27 forward was 30 seconds at a time. I wasn’t fit enough to do that. And nothing after day 30, press day 31 and it went blank.
App closes
The app shuts down after a certain time and you don’t know where you left off with the timer
Keeps me accountable
Great, easy to use app. I just wish there wasn’t an ad right when I need to “complete” the exercise
Мне нужно на русском
Не могу поменять язык
Not a fan
App times out if you’re not staring at it and constantly waking up the phone. How are you supposed to concentrate on the plank you’re doing? Works up to a 5 min plank by adding 30 seconds the last 4 days, which isn’t the best way to add time. I prefer simply using a chart.
Loved it
I just finished day 30. I’m 53 and trying to get my groove back. This app really held me to it with the daily reminders. My only complaint would be the app has to stay in the foreground or the time will stop. I discovered that 3 1/2 minutes into a 2 minute time. I was watching YouTube and wasn’t paying attention. I felt pretty awesome about it anyway!!!!! Great app thank you!!!
Your ads block progress = Useless
This is an ad-based app so after you have finished your plank, to “complete the exercise”, one has to watch an ad. But the ad never lets you opt out of viewing or fails to move forward after watching the ad (such as the insipid game Homescapes). So you don’t get credit for completing the plank. It’s just so stupid.
A little rough
I agree with the other review… the jumps from day 27 on were too much and discouraging. I had to convince myself holding a plank for 3 minutes plus was wonderful and not a failure.
Ads?
Why must there be an ad after each day? The app is not advanced enough to require that sort of money, nor cannot possibly generate much profit. Greed maybe?
