Identical to Apple Reminders App
I wanted to find a replacement for the Reminders app that comes with Apple by default and this is it. The Reminders app kept losing my lists or replacing the items with ones from years ago. Very frustrating. This app has all the same abilities as Reminders and more (if you pay the one time $6 fee to unlock all abilities). This app also has a calendar feature so you can see the days ahead.
This Stupid App
Updated this stupid app today. Big mistake. Lost everything. It’s all gone. I’m deleting it. Wish I didn’t pay for it. Bummer.
QUIRKY SMALL APP
This is a cute, simplistic little app that is somewhat nebulous as to how to use it to full advantage. I am not panning the app, and I am trying to figure out how to use it to its fullest advantage.
sadly downgraded
The latest 'update' has sadly had an adverse impact on my experience of this app. What was a 5* app is now 2*. The interface was clean and quick to add items - now too many clicks required to add an item and lack of customisation to turn off the options/prompts. I was a big fan of this app. Am now looking for an alternative.
Used to be simple
Edit: it’s not AS awful as I first felt, but it is very much increased how many taps it takes to set up a task and annoyingly inefficient. Please make priority tappable flags or something - please not a dropdown list… )= I really enjoyed this app for its simplicity and ease of use. With the newest update, it’s so much harder to create a new task/checklist item. Now the app is pushing reminders by putting a date and for some reason the list that the task goes in at the top, priority flag is lost in the middle. It’s just clunky now, takes too much scrolling and tapping to do something simple like prioritize a shopping list. Love ruined into hate, sorry!

Gets the job done
This app is almost perfect for me. I love the minimalist simplicity. It’s straight to the point. That being said, there are a couple features that could take this to the next level, without losing the footprint of the app. - Apple Reminders integration - Attach images/PDFs in the notes of a task - Optimize for iOS 26 I’ve noticed that there hasn’t been an update in almost a year. I hope the developers haven’t given up. This app is solid and has even more potential.

But really buggy
New Changes Are Terrible
I used to love navigating though this app—despite some flaws. This new update has made the app unintuitive and more stressful than doing the actual tasks. Setting an alert is unnecessarily difficult and time consuming. This app took a bad turn and is no longer the best app for productivity.
Perfection
This is exactly what I want in a to-do list tracker. No fluff but very clean interface. All the other apps are flawed or don’t support Mac or have their faults. This guy is perfect and has an optional small quality-of-life upgrade for a $5 one-time purchase. Take notes, app developers! This should be the standard.
Lists disappear
The lists just disappear, never to be seen again.

What a great app! Its simple and clear to use. I’m i glad i found an app like this It meets my expectations ☁️✨ I just want you to add undone option… not to delete the tasks but to mark them as undone
Functional, but unhelpful in other ways
The app works fine, but I find that it lacks some key customizability for me, especially in not being able to rename or delete the two lists that it comes with automatically at the top. For something like this that is meant to help me declutter and organize it doesn't make any sense to not make it as customizable as possible, and to start with two checklists that you already cannot remove that are taking up room and cluttering the visual space. I also find the art style to be slightly offputting, and the art that displays when you have an empty list is distracting and unnecessary. I like the idea of including art, I just personally do not like the look of what was selected.
why such small text?
I am older and the teeny font size in this app is unusable for me. Why isn’t there a way to enlarge it?
Cleannnnn
Was looking for a to-do list that was simple and was on both Mac and iPhone. This is perfect. Has everything I need. Does not constantly bombard you to purchase the premium version but it offers just enough to tempt you. If you want to keep it as minimalist as possible, this app lets you. Finally, something without the bells and whistles!
Can’t demo without paying
I need a to do list with custom hourly repeats, as in, when a task is checked complete, it will automatically repeat in 20 hours, not just 1 day or 1 week. I tried to see if this app had such functionality, but when I tap on the repeat option, I either have to pay or get kicked out of the options. As a demo, this doesn’t demonstrate how the app works, so it has no value and thus one star for performance.

My tasks keep disappearing
Whenever I take the time to write out the tasks that I want to do for the week they keep disappearing. Then I have to redo all my tasks again and again. Please fix this!
Clean and simple
For people who don’t waste time creating and organizing their agenda. One of the rare apps who has “repeat every x hour(s)”. Perfect for daily tasks that need to be done at that period of time. My only requests are: 1) Markdown support and 2) NLP (Natural Language Processing) for dates so the app can recognize it and apply it automatically as Reminder and actual Date of the task to be done. 👍🏽
iPhone update wiped all my data
Updated my iPhone to the latest iOS and all the contents of the app were wiped. I don’t have any of my lists that I carefully curated anymore. 😖😖😖
Gets the job done, room for improvement
Mindlist is a good, simple and minimalist to-do and task management system. Tasks are functional and the UI is pleasing to the eye. I wish there was a new task shortcut or button on the bottom. Right now, we have to open up a list before creating a new task and it gets annoying. Overall, would recommend for every productivity minimalist out there!
Issue has made my app worthless!
I used to LOVE Mindlist. I love everything about the design, layout, customization, icons, etc. until one day I launched the app and noticed all of my lists had vanished. I’ve tried reusing it since but for some reason it does not store the lists, icons, tasks, or anything. I’m not wanting to use it until this is fixed or I will not return to Mindlist because the whole point of to be able to refer to planned tasks later. The basic Reminders app and Microsoft ToDo never failed to store my tasks and lists.
It’s Close but not Cigar
This app has promise, but I’d like it to feel finished! A Couple Features that are REALLY NEEDED to make this simple little app easier to use and on par with other simple task apps: - Drag/move tasks into different lists (how is this not in there already?) - Press enter to start a new task after adding one/+ button to add task below end of list, not just at the bottom - Drag into today to add due date for today, default of just pressing schedule button makes it due today - Tomorrow and this week bins - Basic tags I’m a long time user of Minimalist, and overall this app has a lot going for it — I love the simple, clean design — I just think it needs some more features to take over as my everyday quick list. Happy to change my score if some of these are implemented!

I didn’t use it much at first but I have been tryin to us it more and more! I love how it crosses things off and it is really simple to navigate, it helps me visualize what I need to do and I can plan out my day from there

Lists not being saved or erased..
Was a solid app but saved list have been deleted or are not being saved properly by the app..tried refreshing the app but alot of my list are now gone. Wish they would fix this asap, have also paid for the app because I liked its features and simplicity but now it’s letting me down..
Useful with friendly design
This is a clear and simple way to make to-do lists and review them regularly. It doesn’t take very long to learn the simple commands. it sinks across devices. I like it on iPad. It’s good on iPhone also and MAC

Great app - add shortcuts
Love the app but would be great to add shortcuts for Mac version. CMD+A to add a task for example. Small addition and would make for a much better user experience. Thanks

Bought the £3.99 add on and its made no difference at all. still cant add tasks in a time order. no colours. no calendar boxes. photos portrey a bad idea of what the app is realy like.

You need “premium”
The app is basically useless without playing, to add a repeating task like brushing your teeth you need premium. It looks nice and would probably be really good if you didn’t have to pay.

I love the layout and features of this app, however almost all of the features advertised in the app store like changing colors, repeated tasks, require you to pay for the Premium version of the app.

I can do my workouts, chores, sports, HIIT, exercise, self defenses and more if you don’t have it you NEED IT!!!
All my folders disappeared
I was really enjoying this app until one day I opened it and noticed that all my notes and folder had disappeared.
Nice but could be better
I wished we would be able to view weekly tasks and have subtasks. I also think adding a time for tasks would be great
Great... But don't purchase the upgraded version!
I found the upgraded version to be a complete waste of money as it's sole purpose is that it grants the ease of scheduling repeated tasks at one time. However, this does not function properly!! Tasks that repeat on the same day each week will not show up on the calendar until the previous task is marked as completed. This does not seem to be worth the money to me as it does not allow the ease of looking over the whole month upcoming at once with all tasks assigned. You can of course mark a task as 'completed' and undo this multiple times so that the future scheduled tasks do show up but at that point you may as well input them all individually to begin with and save yourself the total WASTE of money!!!
Decent
Almost great app. I like the simplicity, but would love to see a "Tomorrow" grouping list similar to the "Today" list. Having a similar auto-group for "This Week" would be great too. Some UI issues with clicking on something but it not being identified on the click and oddly being tagged to something else entirely. Other than that, it's solid.

Opened my Mindlist today and all of my lists were gone...not dealing with that. Back to Apple Notes for me. So disappointing.
Fantastic App
Love this app and the features it has. Everything is straight forward and easy to understand. One thing I wish this app had was the ability to remind yourself of a task more than once.
Not a planner
The app only puts tasks in, the calendar option doesn’t plan for events. Paid for the full version, wish I could get my money back. When you add a “task” in the future it adds it all to your inbox. Would be nice if you could set times for certain tasks.
Help me!!!!
Just a few moments ago I was checking my midlists to add some events for tomorrow and everything erased itself and all my history of checklists and labels are all gone!! This is very bad because I put all my pay checks and solo trips events into this trusted app! Please help me I can’t lose this information! I love this app so much and it was so helpful and useful during my every day and helped me organize my daily needs but I’m very upset with this!
