Notifications not working
I’ve turned all the notifications in the app settings and my phone settings, but I still don’t receive any notifications.
Wonderful To-Do App!
This is a great to-do list app! The only thing I wish it could do was print out a list of completed tasks and the date these tasks were completed.

It’s growing on me
I started out with a poor review, but the app is starting to grow on me. It does have more bugs than should be excused for the price point, but the time tracking feature and the statistics feature seem to be unique and useful.
Simple and clutter free
I often have a hard time finding balance between s planner app that has the features I need without being too much or too simple. This app is the perfect balance which makes planning and organizing life a lot less overwhelming. Your planner should not stress you out! I do hope we can get a week view soon, that’s what helps me the most.
Expensive for an enotebook
Every cool feature is “premium”. It’s basically an overpriced electronic notebook
Potential To Be Amazing
As someone with ADHD, I really love this app. It’s been incredibly helpful, and I have a few suggestions that I think would make it even better. * Sometimes when I use the Focus Timer, it doesn’t save the time I’ve spent on a task. I’d love for that to be more reliable. * It would be helpful to have an option to manually add focus time to completed tasks. There are times when I forget to start the timer but still want to accurately track the time I spent working. * I’d also love the ability to quickly add 15 or 30 minutes of focus time to an existing task when I need a little more time than originally planned. * Adding subtasks would be amazing for breaking larger projects into smaller, more manageable steps, especially for those of us with ADHD. * Lastly, I’ve been running into an issue where, after clicking on a task and then exiting the Focus Timer, the app automatically switches my to-do list to the next day instead of keeping me on the current day. Overall, this is a really great app, and I appreciate how thoughtfully it’s been designed. These small changes would make it even more useful and accessible for users like me who rely on it to stay focused and organized.
“Limited” setting options!
Needs a lot MORE setting options: (Just 1 Example: ADD: 1 day before & 1 week before in Events composition!)
Good app, just not for me as someone with ADHD
I have ADHD, and unfortunately this app just didn’t work for me long term. At first I was excited and really into it, but I realized I was spending more time organizing my tasks than actually doing them. Eventually, I ended up going back to my regular calendar and reminders app because that system works better for me. I’m giving it 3 stars because I don’t think it’s a bad app at all. It just wasn’t the right fit for the way my brain works. I also think reviews from people with ADHD can be helpful for others deciding whether an app might work for them, and in my case, this one didn’t. That said, I hope it works well for others and now onto planner app number 31.

Trouble deleting items
I can’t delete previously added items under the Routine tab like Drink Water or Make My Bed. I don’t want these. I tried to swipe left and nothing happens. I’m currently using the 7 day trial but if I can’t delete these I won’t buy the app.

Interesting am discovering features of this app as I use it. I am finding it helpful, but I can’t decide if I like it or not.
Good app, but needs improvement
I love this app’s layout and how it has tabs for your to-dos, routine, events and multiple checklists all in one place. But it is lacking in the reminders area. There is an option to add a reminder time (on time, 30 mins, 1 hr) when creating a todo item but the actual reminder alert never shows up on my phone. I do get alerts when I am in focus mode for certain tasks but I have no idea why I don’t for my to do tasks. This needs to be addressed by the developer!
Love the minimalist look
I find NoteCircle easy to use. I would like to see tasks related to a goal stay under the goal rather than just mix them with each day’s tasks. I would also like to know what advanced features come with the lifetime payment. Thank you. Thank you for your response. I’m glad to be using an App where the developer responds to questions rather quickly. One question you didn’t answer was in regards to the advanced features for the lifetime payment. I don’t see any place where those features are listed. I’ve looked to your website. I’ve looked over the page in the App Store. I also don’t see any where in the app to pay for those features. I would like to know what the advanced features are before purchasing. Thanks again.
List items not saving
The items placed on a list will not save since the last update. Tried to delete, reinstall, all the tricks - does not work anymore
Almost there!
Nicely laid out app and easy to use. Couple of improvements please to give this 5 stars. On routine tasks please improve options to allow every x weeks or every y days etc. Sometimes you have a 3 weekly repeating task or every 4 days etc which isn’t an option on this app. Also add option to reschedule x days from last completion rather than restrict to set days of the week. Otherwise really like the layout and usability. Addition to original review: Please also add the option to write notes on a task entry.
Not impressed
It’s not easy to navigate unless you pay out the butt and it doesn’t have nearly as many features as cheaper alternatives
Design + Colors
I love the design of this app. I can see it being incredibly useful, but without the ability to change the color scheme besides from Light to Dark, visually I just can’t get into it.

Features Not Working
Beautiful design. Many features not working though, so I can’t say much about the app’s functionality. Too bad.
Tabs
Would have liked to personalise some of my own tabs. The tab ‘routine’ for me is a waste of a tab as I have that covered in my Calendar. Good app some way to go Update: Quick positive response from developer. My comments were not intended as criticism but more how I personally use the app. A few days have now passed since earlier comment so feeling a lot more confident that it will become a firm favourite.
Widgets
The widgets are terrible they don’t update. They don’t progress to the next day. Often times blank checks go left unmarked after marking them. So many bugs on a very simple (over priced) should function like intended.
Nice idea but many glitches
Awesome idea but when I link my Google Calendar it wipes out everything else and glitches and says I don’t have an account. Nice idea if it worked as advertised it would be a 5 star to me.

Really good!
By far my favorite minimalist planner app in the App Store. It is visually pleasing and works well on both my iPad and desktop, plus the "scratching off to-dos" sound is super satisfying. I am already subscribed, but here are some suggestions/critiques/wishes: 1) On desktop, saving to-do items is sometimes slow or the click simply doesn’t register. 2) I would like to have more than three weekly items. 3) Would love to have a small notes section at the bottom of each day. If it intrudes on minimalism, have it be hideable. 4) Timestamp behavior seems inconsistent. I had been using it as both a planner and a checklist, which means I want the time of a to-do to show up in the list once saved. But it doesn’t always appear. Also, sometimes a to-do item will display a "time created" time below, which is confusing when I just need to see the time the item is scheduled to be done. Edit on April 12, 2026: Weekly goals seem to randomly disappear or get moved to different weeks. This is one of my most used functions, so it is very frustrating. I’d love to continue investing in the app and I can overlook the other minor issues, but this one is causing me to look elsewhere. I just can’t afford losing my weekly goals like that.

Good start
It’s a good start The unsync button doesn’t seem to work , so you still see events in your to do list so a few more bugs to iron out all in all a good start. would’ve given it more stars, but as basic as Apple reminder is, it has all the essentials. Just doesn't look as nice as this app. But I will always go for function over fashion.
Need: an option to add tabs
Love this app!! It has everything I hope for in a note app and the design is simple and sleek. Very easy to follow. I downloaded all the other apps they got and also love those. I wish I could add more tabs into my notes so i could make more list.
BUG
I can’t STILL view the Sunday dates on the monthly view page and cannot scroll to any other month.
I like but
I like it but I’m not willing to do yet another subscription. Moreover 50 bucks for a lifetime subscription seems excessive considering the unclear future of this product and barebonesness of it all (you gotta add themes or something). Moreover checked items in the widget never disappear until you reopen the app multiple times.

Nearly there
To start with this is an awesome app for seeing everything in one place. It is reasonably priced and it does not hard sell. However there are many functionality flaws that could be improved like putting routines as todos instead of habits. And the ability to edit where everything should go. For example the top tab shouldn’t contain someday to do but a more urgent option like the checklist option. Please please change this and I will not cancel my subscription!!
Best task/checklist app I’ve found
I’ve searched near and far for the perfect note taking app that does to-do lists and daily checklists. This one definitely specializes in that niche of the market.
Love it, but has one problem
I love this aesthetically pleasing app. However, I do have one complaint. Sometimes when I go to add to my to do list, it won’t let me add. It says I have to sign up for a subscription, which I don’t want to do. Other than that, it’s amazing for organization.
Beautiful Design
Really enjoying the app so far, but there’s a quirk I’m not happy about. The events tab seems to be showing events for the current month only, and nothing in the future. I would gladly give the app five stars, but that’s weird. Have to be able to see events in the future lol. Not sure if it’s a bug or what.
Need help
I love this app and use it all the time but suddenly I can’t add any new routine items? The options are gone and I don’t know how to fix it or how to get your help. Is it perhaps a bug?
Great app but syncing issues
Have this on phone and ipad, really great on phone so paid for subscription… but it wont let me use any of the paid features on my ipad despite them being logged into the same account :( hope this gets fixed soon
Had Potential
Yet another great idea abandoned after a cash grab. No response from CS to known bugs via email or DM. Could have been great, but not worth the $ when compared to Apple Notes (which work).
Creates new accounts - Much Work is needed
There are issues every time I try to connect my Google products like Calendar. Once I connect Google, it becomes a new account and all the updated information, i.e., ToDo, Checklists, etc., are not on a new account and not my old (paid) account. So there is a bunch of new information on a newly created account and not sync’d with my old subscription account. It really isn’t worth re-entering the information again into the old paid account. I’ll stick to a simple Word or Google Docs checklist.
Favorite productivity app
Love the simple look and the routines. The emojis help me differentiate routines from regular tasks. The productivity overview per month is also a good dopamine boost which keeps me going. I also love the widgets (that’s what made me keep coming back). The only thing missing from this app is a badge/ a count of all the tasks for the day.
Minor improvements needed
Great concept and I am finding it useful. Only improvement I need it to have so far is a 4 weekly option to set tasks rather than monthly. Also the app regularly glitches and freezes with every use, please look into this

Great, but still lacking
I really wanted to like this and was prepared to make it my main brain dump and stick with it. It’s simple and beautiful and helps keep me on track with all my tasks for the day. But I don’t use it as much as I want to because I always need to put tiny notes and links in my checklists and tasks and I just can’t do that in this app. So I keep using apple reminders or something else when I just wanted to use one app for everything.
Update for iPhone 14 Pro dynamic island
This app seems a good tool and the interface is pleasant, however it’s been a while now that the new iPhone is out with dynamic island and still not updated for it. It’s not great UX for people with the new iPhone 14 Pro Max

I find it weird there isn’t a option to set an event weekly, there is an option or it for be monthly or yearly but it’s more than likely the event is going to be weekly?
