Update
After me and my partner were able to realize that everyone that participates in the challenge has to have their own subscriptions, he went and bought one. Now, it works like a charm. Thank you.
It is locking me out of my app
I purchased the app 2-3 days ago (59.99 Lifetime Subscription ) and everything was working fine until it stopped allowing me to open my chats and challenges. I am the admin I can’t even edit or manage anything. It has crashed the whole group. I keep having this thing pop up talking about I have to pay for AI LOGGING. I already paid for the ENTIRE APP. I reached out via email because you can’t get anyone on the phone and they are so slow at even emailing me back and days are passing for the challenge. Please rectify this problem because at this point I am going to dispute this charge with my bank. Thanks.
Great for group challenges
Love using this app for group challenges. It is nice to be able to chat with diet friends in a safe place!
Meh
Good at only tracking literal weight with friends, you get a day or two of pro to track your steps and such but afterwards it will not track unless you pay. Then you will get notified each day that “nobody hit their steps” because they won’t log anymore.
Good app, needs work
I really enjoy using this app with my brother. The team function for holding each other accountable is great, but it has some issues with very fundamental stuff. How come I can’t insert custom macros for my food? The app gets things wrong often, unless there is a nutrition label to scan, which isn’t always the case. How come I can’t delete a singular food item off my list and have to delete the entire category it is in? Just small changes that would make it so much friendlier to use. Still recommend.
Very cool!
Still new to this app but the features have been simple to understand and very helpful! The AI photo snap integration is amazing!
Utter Garbage
It can only connect to two health apps…You can’t even look around the app without it constantly showing the popup to get their “pro” version. Why would I instantly want to upgrade to pro if you’re not even going to give me a moment to breath and check out the app? I ended up making a pretty robust Excel spreadsheet that can do 90% of what this app does but for free.
The free version is good; I enjoy it enough to try the paid version
I am using this app with a coworker and with family to focus on fitness goals. I like that mean entry is so easy and I love the leaderboards. I do wish you Apple Watch sync was automatic. I had to set an alarm to sync at en end of the day. I also wish you could see/edit the previous day.
Great Concept, Poor Apple Health Integration
I appreciate the social and community aspects of Better Together, which are great for staying motivated. However, the app falls short on essential automation, especially concerning Apple Health. It's frustrating to manually input my weight when my smart scale already syncs that data seamlessly with Apple Health. Given the price point, I would anticipate a much higher degree of automation, and this lack of essential integration makes the absence of a free trial even more noticeable. It feels like a significant oversight for a paid fitness app.
In app purchases
In the beginning, this was a great app for our group. We tracked our steps, water and weight. Unfortunately, there were an app purchases, so we were no longer able to count our steps and water after just a few weeks 😢
Accountability is Key!
Thought I could lose weight on my own I was wrong, this app lets you choose who you want in your group!
FRUSTRATED Weigh in Button Gone
The weigh in button disappeared when I tried to update my weight this morning! Tried contacting but no response! Please help! Ive deleted and re-upload too. Nothing worked. This happened right after I paid for my 1 year subscription! Very disappointed!!
Lots of ads but works
Lots of ads but works
Nutritional values AI inconsistent & inaccurate
Food/meals logged on multiple days is given different nutritional values each time logged.
Generell ganz nett
Nur leider ist es nicht möglich, die Pro Version zu laden. Schade
Awesome APP
I love how the app helps me keep count of my meals and easy to use.
Don't get scammed
The app makes you pay but doesn't let you know until you've out all your info in. Reporting for fraud and deceptive marketing.
Easy to use
Quick and easy to get around
Notifications non stop
There is no way to turn off the annoying notifications about steps and stairs unless you turn off all notifications. And this isn’t a feature in pro either. Additionally, paying for this subpar app makes no sense unless everyone does, and for the price per year, no one in my group wants to do that. Plus, if you and your friends stay with the free version, you all constantly get updates that no one reached their goal steps instead of those notifications stopping completely. It’s just nonstop annoying ads and notifications. And why isn’t there an option for people who don’t want to lose weight but need to lose fat? Not everyone wants to be stick thin with no muscle. After our competition, we plan to never use this app again.
Does not load
The app idea is very good. However the interface is hard to navigate and the initial loading screen takes forever. I waited over 3 minutes to get into the app, also it is frustrating that I don’t know how much time is left for it to load.
Better Together App
The app keeps me motivated and I have already lost 11 pounds!
Absolutely Useless Rip-Off
Myself and a group were excited to try a group weight loss app. We all paid for the app and dove in. It's terrible. Half the features don't work. It bombards you with notifications. I reached out to the developer - who said that I could cancel. However when I tried to - he denied it twice and forced me to keep a subscription I don't want. This is just barely half baked and way too expensive for something that doesn't even work. Stay Far Away from this one.
Good app
This is a good app. I like that I track and compete with others, but I don’t like that it’s a subscription. I feel as though this app would be very beneficial without having to purchase a subscription. On the other hand, I do appreciate the longer trial period.
Tricky Ads
Pop ups happened during registration and I ended up putting credit card info in, thinking it was for the app, but it wasn’t.
Profile picture
When you set your profile picture it does not remain static. We are in a group and most of us have each other’s pictures. It is pretty annoying.
BETTER TOGETHER FOR SURE
GREAT APP🔥‼️
Broken App
The app never works. It won’t load. I’ve deleted and redownloaded multiple times, but I can’t get it to work.
Good
Good app, works really well for my group of friends. They have made some good updates over the past 2 years - just wish they kept some of the features free like the steps and water. When your with a group and over half don’t have pro the daily challenge updates are pointless
Is anyone else having any trouble with the app with recording the weight mine isn’t updating
Is anyone else having any trouble with the app with recording the weight mine isn’t updating - there is no real person to assist. said to make an appointment and they would call me back. I made appointment for 8 o’clock the next morning and no one called —-ever. i low key want my money back. I still cannot get it logged or updated to see progress.
Tolle App aber…
Tolle App. Macht echt Spaß und treibt an aber plötzlich soll man zahlen ….. schade.
Pretty cool
Doing what it says, helping the gang lose some weight together. Simple to use. Fun little competition app. Would recommend.
Be aware of unwarranted charges
When I canceled this subscription I was charged again for another month just a few days after canceling although the renewal date wasn’t for another 3 weeks. I tried unsuccessfully to get a refund so beware!!
Options
Can’t change any of the options once all set in. Need to change weight goals and can’t.
Need to improve performance
The app is okay. It serves the purpose of fun challenges, but there are definitely performance improvements along with user experience that needs to be improved. 1. The app DOES NOT automatically sync when it’s opened. PLEASE design and develop a way for users to manually sync with Apple Health. Even better user experience, design and develop a feature that allows the app to update and sync without having to open the app. 2. When removing a member from a challenge, the challenge disappears. The user then has to close and reopen to see the challenge. 3. Also, when opening up different challenges, the week goal shows data from the wrong challenge.
Better together
At the beginning this app was not updating, it has taken a while for it to catch up and work correctly. So far it seems to be ok, but for how long though.
Way better
Easy to use keeps you on track !
I thought I like it at first
But ended up hating it I couldn’t find a section to update weight When I log food if I make one mistake I have to delete all the entries in that section I can’t just edit the one food item. You can’t copy a meal you previously had. And their no section for macros. Keep in mind I payed for a year for this app would like a refund.
Great family weight loss log
Great way for everyone to put in their weight without lying. However would be better if able to edit it to change kg to lbs or vice verse and to change day of weigh in!
Herausforderung lässt sich nicht starten
Eigentlich gefällt mir die Appidee und auch das Design sehr gut. Leider lassen sich die Herausforderungen nicht starten und die App stürzt ab. Bitte ändert das
Good app but
It doesn’t count my stair climbing which is annoying aww
Review
This app is keeping me on task.
Not so great
App is very glitchy and within a few days wouldn’t allow me to log food without paying for the app. Not sure if that’s the way it works but I hadn’t even had a chance to figure out if I liked the app before it wouldn’t allow certain functions without the window popping up asking me to pick a plan. Once again let me reiterate that it’s glitchy and my chats weren’t showing up and I’d have to close and reopen and resend chats and sometimes when I would get a notification and open the app that way the screen would be blank and I’d have to close and reopen. Not too much incentive to purchase when that’s the experience and the nerve to stop functions in 2 days and request us to pick a plan 😒
BetterTogether
I really like the option to connect with people who track their steps via Fitbit and/or Apple as half of my friends have Apple and the other Fitbit. You don’t see the results until the next day but it keeps you motivated to get your steps in. The only reason I gave this a 4 is that sometimes the app doesn’t connect with my Fitbit app and on one occasion I lost a daily challenge because it didn’t record anything. It would be beneficial if you could also include your inches lost ( which it doesn’t). Despite this recommendation, I really do like the app.

It’s adequate
Still in early stages of the challenge. The app is ok but I have a Fitbit so there’s not much value ads for me. I joined it to support a friend and work in weight loss together.
Great App
Great interface
Great features hidden behind a paywall
My friends and I really liked this app and its features, however, everything but the weekly team update is paywalled. What bothers me the most is the free version is ad supported and you still don’t get access to anything a run of the mill calorie counter gives you access to. After the first day of use you are locked out without paying. I wouldn’t mind paying, but I don’t find that fair to my friends who are SAHM who don’t have disposable cash to throw at an app just to help them get healthy.
Great group motivation
So far I am really enjoying the motivation inspired by having a weekly check in and competition keeping me focus on my goal. Only downside is not being able to add people after the challenge has started.
Decent
Not many features and adding steps is cumbersome but if you want a very simple app to use with friends - it works.
