I’ve just seen the update for the new costa app, please can you tell me how I can collect beans from the coffee machine if you can only use the app I store?
Core functionality is decent, rough around the edges
App works well, and Apple Pay integration is convenient. Stocking information isn’t great - Cold Brew is almost always marked as out-of-stock, but when I go to the outlet, they have it. Biggest gripe: the app requires a local phone number. It never uses the phone number, but requires you to verify it with an OTP to order. This means that whenever I have visitors at work, all the coffee is on me. Please enable foreign numbers.

Tricky business idea all over uae
Costa Coffee promotes the idea of offering a free coffee to customers who purchase anything from the store and download their app. However, despite meeting all the criteria, many users, including myself, haven’t received the promised coffee. It feels like a tricky business strategy to attract downloads without delivering on the promise.

If you’re going to copy your main competitor, do it exactly the same then ) why would I top up your balance unless you give at least some discount on the coffee? Order button doesn’t locate the nearest store Phone number format in personal details is not working Serious homework to be done

Points bug
I bought twice, one in Dubai, and the other one in Sharjah, and I didn’t get my points. When I reached them in Instagram, they said they will contact me to sort it out. I tried reminding them twice, but apparently I was ignored. 0 for customers service.

This app asked for my Email Number Nationality Gender Birthdate —— Is it a bank or just another capitalist chain shop?
Convenient
I’ve been using the app for a little over a week now and it’s been working great so far. Haven’t necessarily had any issues and have found using it to be quite convenient. Especially when I’m able to upload money to my app and make payments through the app.

Impossible keeps saying verify email address click on link which takes me to App Store and nothing else happens so cannot proceed further

It would be great if you could add the barcode to the wallet on the iPhone Please add the QR code to the iPhone wallet its says it's supports that but it's not
Waste of time
No apparent way of changing the preselected phone area code so have given up. Back to stamped cards or Starbucks… 😡

Tried to use my card which wouldn’t work. Told everything is on the app now! Loaded the app but can’t change the country code for my phone. What a waste of time and effort on everyone’s part especially those that make these apps! All sorted now. Thanks

I’ve deleted and reinstalled this app too many times. Changed password loads, verified account etc and still it won’t log in. I can not waste any more of my life .. bring back cards that you stamp for discounts!!
