Fantastic Oxbury Bank
Been with Oxbury for 12 months and extremely pleased with them in terms of the ease in opening the account, the app is very very good, the interest rate was very competitive and the people in the organisation are lovely
Very glitchy
Can’t get app to work for several days now, it just says ‘logging in’ for ages but does nothing. The app is up to date and so is my phone. Not sure what the problem is!
Premature
Was asked to review this App as I opened it for the first time. So 4 stars is a prediction, rather than a proper review. Who knows…
Overall good app but…
I have an instant savings account and when you withdraw money it will on get processed 3pm on a working day and if you missed the time it will be the next working day. Other apps don’t have this problem.

Can’t login
When you log in it’s supposed to pop up an authentication window. About 80% of the time it never pops up and infinitely loads. Very frustrating

An acceptable app providing basic features. Login is more complex than it needs to be and the layout is cluttered and text too small.

Unable to change a nominated current account neither via app or website.
Oxbury believes it is insecure to manage your account via app or website. in their view it is more secure to ring their support team and to answer questions. 🤯 I am unable to transfer money since i changed my current acct it takes days to change.
Phone change
Bit of trouble when I changed my phone , probably more down to me than Oxbury to be fair. All good now!

App not fit for purpose.
Changed phone and completely unable to register the new phone because it gets in a loop. The website requires app authentication to open and the app requires a QR code from the website. No helpline phone number either…
Opening banking would make this 5 stars
Effective and secure this app ticks all the traditional boxes a banking service should be providing. My only grind is that in this day and age open banking is now minimum requirement and disappointingly Oxbury doesn’t support it. Please add this to your product roadmap. Thank you

Easy usage, gives access to all I need to manage my accounts and good customer service when needed.
App Doesn’t work, avoid
Useless app. Because of a bug, the app crashes as soon as I try to open it. Because the app is required to use my an account. I am completely LOCKED OUT of my account. Incredibly frustrated and the support has been unhelpful. Go with someone else.
Please Make Login Easier/Faster
The app is basic but functional, you can check balance and see statement but not much else. Scaffolding is visible for more functionality in future. Main issue is that login is so slow, needs two taps before it tries to read Touch/Face ID. Instead, it should read Touch/Face ID instantly with an option to fallback to PIN. This is the standard for all other financial apps and makes login a lot less painful and slow feeling. Please consider!

Can't even use the application because it crashes as soon as it opens. Using the most up to date version of iOS and and my device more than meets minimum requirements.
Fantastic App
Love this bank and this app. It’s so quick to get into and the basic info you need is there in front of you. Never lags or crashes. Highly recommend.
Authentication is far too confusing
I so wanted to deposit my money with this bank, but the authentication process (QR Codes etc) was so confusing that in the end I have deleted the app and moved my money to another bank.
Good now after updates - ignore negatives
I think a lot of negative reviews come from when they first launched app. Seems fine now and works well. Oxbury will release money only to the approved account so you can withdraw large amounts very quickly without having to go through loads of security and charges on the phone.
Logging in often doesn’t work
Half the time you can’t log in to the app, it just keeps spinning but the authentication by Face ID doesn’t open. If you close and reopen the app, the authentication pops up, but it still doesn’t log in. Waste of time. Also, customer service is terrible.

Difficult to log in
Very difficult to log in. If you authenticate and then log in nothing happens. If you log in and then authenticate it seems to work, but it’s very hit and miss how the app loads up in terms of the order it lets you do those two things in!
Notice accounts are not variable
They say the notice accounts are variable, but when they update the rate you need to open a new account, they won’t update the rate on the existing account which will obviously be locked
