Easy to use
It’s very easy and quick to use when you’re wanting to check your balance or make a transfer.
Poor customer service
The app doesn’t work and it has been weeks. IT have not resolved my issue and it’s coming on a month.
No way to mark Notifications as read
Having installed the app and logged in, I saw some notifications so viewed them a d saved the statements. It still shows me the same notifications, and I can see no way to clear them. Which is going to make it harder to spot future notifications.
Unreliable
I find logging into the website laborious at times, so the announcement of this app was very welcome. Unfortunately I can’t use the app reliably because not all transactions in the past 3 months show (which can be misleading), plus the withdrawal requests don’t show in the app, therefore I’m still having to log in through the website to action these requests.
Used better
Very annoying that I’m unable to approve withdrawal requests on the app. What’s the point of having an app that doesn’t allow you this function. I don’t want to ring someone or go online and sign in.
Great Bank
Easy to follow app, very straightforward transaction, easy to talk to a person when necessary.
Poor
The app is poor. Trying to make a withdrawal from a shared account requires approval from the other account holder but you cannot approve this in the app. Any requested authorisation doesn’t even show as a pending transaction leaving you guessing whether the app is even working. Rubbish!
Problems with secure messaging
App is overall good, and has improved a lot. However for some reason the secure messaging is not working. It is not possible to send secure messages from the app any more, just results in an error message failed to send. This operation worked about a week ago, not sure if app has been updated recently causing the problem. Update Still problem with secure messaging after contact by the bank. Latest version of iOS and app installed iPhone 17 pro

Not impressed with this bank
This Bank appears to have very poor communication systems. I’ve been referred to their internet banking app which doesn’t seem to exist. Looking forward to getting matured savings account transferred to my bank account and ceasing any further dealings.
App icon not available on my phone
I find there is no icon for the app on my iPhone . The only way I can open the app is to open Apple App Store then find Secure Trust bank listing then click that to find The app showing “Open “. Click that then I am then in the app & my account. All other apps I have an icon to click, spread over several screens. Very odd that STB doesn’t have one. Is this just me &/or an error on my phone?
Transfers
Happy now that the App has been updated as can now do a quick transfer of funds using my mobile and not having to access my laptop.
Unusable
Opened the account and closed it within a week. Couldn’t transfer cash using the app or online banking, it was if my money was being withheld without my consent. Steer clear.

Secure Trust Bank, great for updating clients in changes to their accounts, plus new features and account changes. Competitive interest rates and easy to change account types, money transfers completed safely and timely.

The app says my details are not recognised. Same details work fine on the website. Terrible app. Would give it zero stars if I could

very slow to resolve issues
A joint account requires approval from two people to transfer money, unlike other banks which are more convenient. If the second person has not registered for online banking or has forgotten their memorable word, they need to mail a copy of their driver's license to resolve the issue. This process is very troublesome and time-consuming, especially when we urgently need the money. The entire procedure is too outdated.
Main Savings App for me
Hopefully the app gets updated soon with more features like an automatic time out feature and maybe dark mode but for now it’s exactly what I’m looking for.
Access to internet statements.
Have spent an hour trying to access details of interest paid on my savings account. The only information I can find is that of the initial funds provided Mar 2024.

Fundamentally Broken
Like other reviewers, I can log in fine to Secure Trust internet banking via a browser but cannot login to this app. Seems to be a token app they’ve released to say they have one but it does not work.
