New app layout
What was there before app “improved” was simple and fine. Now when I open app there’s a completely pointless graph and it takes longer to navigate to my account. Just because you can show me a useless piece of information doesn’t mean I want to see it. Don’t waste money breaking a functional app use it pay savers more interest!
Ok in general, but…
I like the less is more feel of the app. One issue is an occasional crash that goes to a black screen. Swipe out and back in and it’s usually ok.
Not changing
Good rates, good and easy app. I am staying with OakNorth for a second term.

This bank was will not allow you to keep your tax free allowance unless you stay with them

Version 2 of the app
I hate the new version. The old one was much, much better for those with a visual impairment. There are sections of the app that cannot be enlarged and the print, graph notations are very small and spread far apart. The old version was much more readable, this new version is useless to me. I may have to leave this bank if I cannot have a more useable app. Can I return to the old version please?
Good but poor update process
Why does it wait for me to open the app before asking to update? None of my other apps do this. Otherwise it’s a good app

OakNorth App
It would be helpful if the page that has your accounts listed also gave the maturity date. Also the loyalty rates are found by entering the amount you want to reinvest. This can be confusing as I thought I’d be locked into another fixed term without finding the interest rates.
Password
I became very frustrated when my password kept being rejected. I had complied with the different requirement, all were ticked but still wasn’t accepted. I had one last try with a smaller version and at last I got through. My original was 15 characters long, my accepted was 10 characters. There was no indication about this which almost lost them my business !

App not working
The app fails to sign in first noticed 29 Dec 2024. Please fix.
ISA Maturity
My ISA matures tomorrow I was able to select a new ISA deal which was one of the best rates around and set it up in less than a minute unbelievable when I spent an hour and 20 minutes on the phone yesterday to HMRC for a refund they owe me and I need to phone back tomorrow (4 calls and it’s still not sorted)
Waste of time
Tried opening an ISA. Completed all the required fields and after several long steps was told something went wrong and left on a blank screen. Really doesn’t give you much confidence!

Decent rates… a little less than the one I was contemplating however for the hassle it wasn’t worth it
Can’t even use it
I can’t create an account because my surname has a hyphen in it and it only lets me use letters.

I cannot recommend this App, it fails with technical issues regularly and even more frustrating is OakNorth staff simply ignore requests for technical support. I would definitely look elsewhere
