Very satisfied
So easy to use. Love seeing people buzzing me, nice to be notified to pick up my parcel from the parcel room.
Never use this!
Simply does not work. Never rely on apps like this for entry. Pets couldn’t be fed when owners were away because the stupid app did not work, even after multiple access codes were sent. Completely unreliable. Nothing like regular physical keys. Stay away from this app!

Additional features could make it 5 star
Need to add a few shortcuts to make it a seamless digital key. We need a shortcut in controls from the dropdown tab. We should also have some Siri functionality to open doors in case we can’t handle the phone at the moment. Currently, I have to either navigate to app or get the shortcut from the Lock Screen.

So glitchy it’s useless
This thing has been one problem after another. the latest: two weeks ago, my widgets disappeared, and I had to hunt through the app to. Unlock doors. Then, last night, I tried to buzz someone in and got a frozen progress bar that would not budge– even when the app sent me a notification, which was so obscured I could only read the first and last three letters of each line.,if they conspired to create a useless and annoying app, they couldn’t do better

So Slow and Unreliable
It’s not bad when it actually works, but getting it to actually open without waiting an eternity or an error message popping up is like pulling teeth.
The digital key
The digital key was good before but now they added this new feature in which it only works if you are connected to the wifi . Its always so embarrassing to stand there waiting for my phone to get connected to internet in front of guest and concierges. Please change this feature back to the original it’s really getting annoying. And also the new ui for keyfob is also not good looking the previous ui for keyfob was way modern . But thats just a suggestion. But plz look into the key fob thingy 🙏

Fails more than it works
It’s constantly signing me out and only connects to the reader about 50% of the time. I’ve just gone back to using my key fob.
No Widget for iOS 26
I don’t understand why there isn’t a widget for iOS 26, so that it’s quicker to use the app. As it is, it’s cumbersome.
Potential
Is anyone at all working on this app? It’s useful but is also terrible at the best parts. “Freezes” very often. Very unstable. Especially when giving guest access. That part annoys me to death.
Good but…
I really like using the app overall. It works well and is easy to use. However, it’s frustrating that Apple Watch integration is limited to unlocking doors. I rely on my Apple Watch for notifications because I usually keep my phone on silent, and not being able to answer door calls from my Watch is a real limitation. If full Apple Watch call handling were added, this app would easily be worth 5 stars.

The most unreliable app
Don’t you dare try to change the temp in the middle of the night - it’s insanely sensitive to wifi, time of day, direction of the wind.. anything messed with the app and you’re unable to change temps even if you delete the app / reset.
Cool App would be perfect if…
Would really love it if they would intigrate where you can just message sellers/buyers within the app of its marketplace section instead of putting your personal contact info.

However if you require a fob to access your elevator, this app is not always reliable at selecting your floor, allowing guests / delivery drivers up without a hassle.

The app is basically very bad it doesn’t work well the key is very bad and basically u can be waiting outside the building for 30 minutes until someone opens for you, also it’s very awkward that I can’t go inside my apartment it doesn’t let me log in

Has great potential, but still worse than a physical key
I love the potential that this app has. It’s really cool that you can get announcements, get package notifications, and provide remote access for guests. However, it is still buggy and it takes more steps than just using a physical fob key. You have to unlock your phone, tap the appropriate button (on the phone widget), and then bring it close to the reader. A physical key, I just take it out of my pocket and touch the reader. Another very serious downside: if your phone dies, you’re out of luck and can’t get into the building, let alone your apartment. If the fob key was in my Apple wallet, and had the ability to be used even if the phone was dead (other Apple wallet cards, like the WMATA transit card for example, can be used even when the phone is dead), then 1Valet would be remarkably good. Unfortunately, that’s just not the case right now.
Not bad but would love more functionality
I recently moved into a new building that’s using this app alongside the Salto Systems door locks. The implementation is a bit buggy but it tends to work 90% of the time. There’s minor bugs like the Apple Pay card reader popping up when I try to open or lock my door. Or the occasional offline mode when the app is connected to the internet. Overall, it’s manageable with the bugs but I would love to see things like geolocation based lock/unlock for the “always open” setting. That and proper Apple Watch support. If I could have the card added to my Apple Watch or wallet that would make it a lot more seem less with interactions of leaving and entering the building instead of haphazardly shoving my phone onto the lock interfaces. Other features my building subscribed to are also nice to have. Things like the marketplace are a cool extra feature that I’ve seen people using. Generally though, the biggest thing for me is functionality, and this app just doesn’t have that yet.

If you value access to your house, don’t use this app. If I was moving somewhere and it used this app I would truly not buy there. You have access only when app is working correctly and if it doesn’t work correctly….Good luck contacting someone within a week

Almost Perfect
Suggestion: when navigating back from a marketplace post, the scroll position should be restored to where the user was on the listing feed. Currently, hitting ‘back’ restores to the top of the feed (most recent post) rather than retaining the original scroll position. Worth looking into scrolling restoration on that route. Other than that, cool app
If this app breaks down you can’t get into your building
This app sucks. Takes you to a website team that never gets back and you can’t get let into your building that you rent for 2k a month and there’s no customer service! So if you like being stuck outside in the cold with no way to get in!! Definitely go with this company

Convenient, lingering bugs
The app provides convenient access to my building. The CarPlay integration for opening garage doors is appreciated. There are a number of bugs that have been lingering for a while: - Periodically logs me out. I have to re-authenticate with my PIN - When logged out, the order of doors is reset. This affects the order of doors on widgets. I often end up opening the wrong door. - There doesn’t appear to be a way to change the door accessed by the Lock Screen Widget (iOS) once Blue Tooth has been selected. I would prefer this widget to open a specific door.

Very bad performance with Apple ecosystem: iOS on Watch OS app cannot be detected
1- watchOS experience: I basically hurt my wrist trying to trigger the opening of my condo apartment using the Apple Watch app. Even having the wrist glued to the sensor at the door, the door does not sense it and I get the “Opps…” message. Same in the elevator: the sensor does NOT sense my Watch app. In one sentence the watchOS app is not functioning (trying not to disrespect the developer’s intelligence here). 2- iOS experience: The app on the iPhone is most the time detected by the sensors at the lobby and the elevator. However, upon arrival to my door, the sensor works 2 times over 20. Not only that I have to physically touch my phone and the sensor for that to work. As a whole, this application and its hardware are using some questionable material which negatively impacts their performance, especially when it comes to iOS and Apple products. I got the Tech from the company coming twice to my apartment and they could not fix it. They would need to look into this very seriously.

It would nice if I could integrate my ecobee thermostat in my 1valet app especially since 1valet has partnered with ecobee.

Watch digital fob expires in 24-48 hours
Recent update made the watch digital fob unusable after a day or 2. The order of the list of doors changes to default and could not be resorted. Disappointingly unrecommendable app.
