Good app
Excellent although some features not available on the app such as tax certificates but that’s not required everyday!
Unstable and unreliable
This is basically a good app - when it works. However, too many times over the last few months I’ve been thrown out of my account and have to login again, including all my security details. This happens on a frequent basis and simply isn’t acceptable. Other reviews have pointed to the same issue so clearly the problem lies with Yorkshire and an unstable app. This has been going on for well over 12 months so it needs to be addressed as a matter of priority.

Logging out
The app constantly logs you out. Would be better if you could do more online
Constantly asks for setup
When this app works it’s great but seems to repeatedly require you to go through the setup process rather than save details properly. Locks you out with very little warning. Back to the desktop.

I find the App really easy to use and I have found the customer service really helpful too

This app is a pain to use. It’s difficult enough opening and administering accounts online but being thrown out of the app continuously after just a few actions makes it unusable especially after entering all the security details. If we can’t access high street branches due to many closures then this needs sorting as a priority.
Version 2.22.0 Has Fixed Transaction Issues
I know you can log in to the website, but it is quite a lot of info to input. Thankfully this app is now ok.
Not fit for purpose.
My app will let me log in and shows the balance on my 3 accounts but will not show transactions, “Sorry an error has occurred “ is the response on all accounts.
Cash card and accounts available on app
To improve the App add a section for accounts available so I can see what’s new.

Rubbish
Been with YBS years, had no problem, but this app is rubbish does not recognise my account number. Have to ring the branch every time I need to log in.
Easy to use but …
Easy to use app for most of your daily banking needs. Could do with the option to transfer on a future date. Plus doesn’t show the reference on statements which would help.
Payments too slow
App works ok. However payments take a day to leave accounts. No Faster payments with YBS!!

I’m trying to install the app on my new iPhone 18Pro and keep getting the message Login failed

Latest update has fixed the transaction error message. Now working like it should.
Completely logged me out to log in from scratch at random
I’ve just updated and I’ve been taken back to scratch with the app asking me if I have an account already then do I use the online system, now I have to login from scratch. What a waste of time.
Dreadful App!
The. App is very poor with basic features and functionality not working. Can view balance, other options to manage money always return an error message. Reported to YBS be pass the blame on to a third party.
Little value
You can’t actually do very much except view your account. To do anything eg a transfer, you have to be redirected to their website. Even then their systems aren’t the most user friendly.

Why does it take so long to move money
We live in a digital world. Money transfers are immediate, as we see by the debits, but the credits internally or externally take over 24 hours. It’s mad!
