What people like
- Exchange rates are competitive
- App interface is simple to use
- Transfer process feels transparent and clear
What they complain about
- Transfers take weeks instead of days
- Support is slow and unhelpful
- Money gets stuck or held up
Transfer
Very fast and very reliable
Don’t fall for the exchange rates
As title says don’t fall for little higher exchange rates. It’ll take 3-4 weeks to process the transaction. Also transaction might get cancelled after 3 weeks and they just credit back your amount after holding ~3 weeks. Worst customer service takes 2-3 days to respond to email.
Clear, smooth, and predictable
The amount shown before confirming has matched the final transfer, and the delivery timing has been accurate. That consistency gives me confidence.
Misleading transfer time
Everything went smoothly until setting up the source account. It initially said 2-3 business days to transfer funds and after setting my source account up, it say 12-15 business days! That is just way too long in this time and age! Hope it goes through smoothly in THREE+ WEEKS!
One less thing to worry about
Sending money home used to involve checking rates, worrying about timing, and following up. With Abound, the process has been straightforward and reliable.
Money transfer
Don’t transfer money to India from this app. They always take more than 15 days for transfer and hard to contact them on any call. They don’t have customer care number.
Steady performance month after month
I've used Abound for several monthly transfers and the results have been consistent. The money arrives as expected and the rate remains reasonable.
Slow but works
Their service is very slow but it works. With other services I usually get money in 4-5 days, this app took more than 10 days which made me panic but after patiently waiting, the money was transferred successfully. I was scared after reading the reviews but fortunately it looks like it’s not a scam. It’s just a slow service.
Makes monthly transfers easier
I can complete the transfer without spending time comparing every option. The rate has been competitive and the process reliable.
SCAM. Avoid. Extremely disappointing and unacceptable
I used Abound only once to send money to India, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. The money was sent for an emergency, but the transfer was not completed for more than a month. Having money tied up for that long when it is needed urgently is completely unacceptable for a money-transfer service. The biggest problem was the lack of meaningful customer support. Getting help was extremely difficult, and most responses appeared to be automated or generic. I could not get a clear explanation of where my money was, why the transfer was delayed, or when it would actually be completed. When the money was finally deposited, I was also concerned to see that it appeared to come from an individual’s bank account rather than directly from Abound, which raised serious questions for me about how the transaction was being processed. I later found numerous similar complaints from other customers online, including complaints filed with the BBB regarding transfers being delayed for weeks or more, repeated changes to delivery dates, and difficulties getting meaningful support. (Better Business Bureau) Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend at all. If your money is needed by a specific date, I would strongly consider using a more established service with reliable customer support and transparent transfer tracking.
Everything happened as expected
The rate was clear, the transfer was easy to submit, and the money arrived within the stated time. That's all I really needed.
Didn’t receive the money
I have send funds from my US Bank account to Indian bank account. After 10 days I didn’t receive the fund and they have stopped responding. It is s fraud application. Please think twice before using the app.
Dependable without the fuss
I don't need extra complexity when sending money home. The app keeps the steps simple and the transfers have arrived when expected.
Fake app
Worst app don’t use they will not send the money
A rate that holds up
I compared the exchange rate with a couple of other services before confirming. Abound was competitive, and the transfer went through smoothly.
Fraud app
Fraud app money shows delivers but not credited yet it’s been two months, I’m telling as many I could not to use this app, nearly 100 I reached
No wasted time during setup
Registration and verification were clear and fairly quick. I was able to complete the first transfer without getting stuck.
Worst Application
Worst application with worst support. They Took my money till 20 days still they’re are not transferring my money
Simple enough for my parents to track
My parents are not very comfortable with apps, but they could understand the transfer progress without much help. That made things easier for everyone.
Please don’t use this App
This is not correct app my first transfer is still in process since last 15 days it is scammed
A clear improvement over my old service
I no longer have to worry about the displayed rate changing before the transfer is complete. The experience feels more transparent.
Remittances always delayed bit great rates
Remittances are always delayed from the dates shown at the time of transfer., this has happened not ones but for all the transfers i did in past. Rates are great.
Easy to recommend based on my experience
I've had a smooth run with the app so far. No failed transfers, no confusing rate changes, and no trouble tracking the money.
Worst remittance app ever
I don’t recommend this app. They delay money transfers for days and charge a fee per transaction, while other remittance apps transfer money for free and deliver it within minutes. Yes, this app offers slightly higher exchange rates, but it’s not worth it if you have to wait up to 20+ days to receive your money. Customer support is the worst par, they only give generic responses and never actually help resolve the issue.
Useful for regular family transfers
I send money home often, and Abound has made it a straightforward routine. The rates stay competitive and the transfers have been reliable.
Almost everyone is crying
I my self was a victim of money hold and fake promises. Now on social media they have a group of people in the name of Abound victims 😂. Your money will be lost for a month or may be more . I recommend beware . Don’t use this app
