What people like
- Staff are very friendly and helpful
- Gym facilities are great overall
- Easy access through the front door
What they complain about
- Keeps logging you out constantly
- Forces annoying app updates often
- Apple Wallet pass fails to add
- Payment processing is slow and buggy
Really styling looking update
Great job with the app
Bad
Id rather buy a keycard than update and give all my info every gym visist
Slow to load access
Slow to load access to front door and turn-style access even though excellent internet reception, Im not the only one to complain
stop logging me out
stop logging me out all the time please. I don’t want to have to log in every time outside of the door of the gym. No other app does this
Exercise video demonstration
A lot of the workout/ exercise example videos are not the same as the exercise description
Club Lime App
Great facility and getting better !
WHYYYY must there be a new software update every three seconds
I like this gym, happy overall with CL…but damn this app is high maintenance. Pretty bold of it to be so demanding considering it has two primary functions..open doors, book classes. And it can’t even manage those things half the time lol.
Too many updates
Far too many updates, presently 2-3 a week and triggering password resets.
Forced updates prevent gym access
Have been a few occasions have got to the gym and opened the app to be told I have to update the app first. I understand if I haven’t updated the app in an extended period but if you update the app less than 12 hours ago you shouldn’t be forcing people to update so soon. New very green UI is confusing a bit of an eyesore, have different icons between doors and turnstiles.
Very good gym
All staff are very lovely and supportive
Forced questionnaire
Rated one star for stopping me from entering the gym via my app until I had to do a questionnaire. Why should I have to do this?
Not allowing booking to class
I go into the class section and it tells me my membership is only for Location X, if I want to do the class at Location X then I need a multi club membership. The class is literally at my location and the notification says both what my location is and that I can’t access that location. Not useful at all.
Not sure
Been using the app service for 6 months and the only thing I want and I’m guessing it’s the same for most members is the open doors button upfront. Why it’s buried in a menu is beyond me. Needing updates and not getting entry is ridiculous too, should have access to for 24hrs from notification.
Payments
Card details submissions are impossible and slow to do.
Can’t add to Apple wallet
Both my husband and I have the latest app in our own iPhones but for some reason both of us can’t add the pass to our wallet. Instead we have to go through the app to open the doors for ourselves. Not great when the internet is not strong in the location We’ve tried troubleshooting without any luck. Support told me to reinstall which we tried. it’s the same problem for multiple phones though so not sure if reinstalling was actually going to do anything.
Great design poor execution
The updated interface seems great however the app fails to perform simple tasks as uploading a new profile photo or load/display upcoming group classes not matter what filters are chosen.
Garbage
This app is programmed so badly it requires you to log in to unlock the gym as if it can’t link your membership number and use the fact it is your phone. Incompetent coders.
cant add it to my wallet
I can’t add my card to my wallet. It keeps saying, unknown error while adding membership pass
Card can’t add too Apple wallet
I like the gym pass and gym but the issue is that I can’t add the gym pass too my digital wallet
Mr Liu
can’t open up the doors
Apple Wallet function doesn't work
Apple Wallet function doesn't work
Crashing in iwatch
When i try to click the authentication code in Apple watch the app gets crashed.
Logging out?
Why does the app continuously log me out? Do you plan to acknowledge or fix it???????? So annoying and inconvenient - makes me want to cancel my subscription lmao
Not very user friendly
App isn’t very user friendly e.g., when there’s multiple entry gates the app just lists them 1-4, however, gates aren’t numbered so I’m usually standing in front of the wrong one. This is the case when it’s not my usual gym. Also, class timetables aren’t easy to filter through especially since there’s so many. I know I can filter by class, however, I like to see all the classes that are running when I have capacity to join. It’s great for access through the 24hour door though.
Doesn’t correspond with WA Timezone
The app is set to AEST (2hours ahead) & doesn’t correspond with WA members. For example it’s 8am in WA, member goes to book a 9am class, it’s already disappeared from the app cause the app is running 2 hours ahead.
Logging in for EVERY use is hugely frustrating
Frustratingly the auto-sign in function on this app has not worked for MONTHS and you have to sign in Every. Single. Time. This is not an issue with the HIIT Republic app or the GroundUp app and makes me less like to come to Club Lime. It didn’t used to happen, please fix it!!
Keeps logging me out and asking for a photo
App logs me out and doesn’t allow me to skip adding my photo. I have to quit the app and go back in .. pretty annoying
Painful constant logging in
I go often to the gym but it seems every 5 visits I have to update the app. Painful
Payment failure
It’s been several times now says insufficient amount in my account and the payment is been failed while I have the money in my bank account
