Active World
Should perhaps be named in Active World Since taking over management from the Ymca things have gone downhill. The pool is not as clean. Access is limited because of school carnivals and learned to swim classes. The variety of classes is rather limited and repetition becomes boring. But what’s more The organisation is not interested in trying to address any of its deficiencies.

Just wish we knew another update was created. I search everywhere to fix problem. Not even businesses using app knew what was happening
Poorly designed UX
How about some thought as to the most frequently used membership functions - like the quick links - and putting them in the centre of the app - not at the base? The access card is used EVERY visit - by most members - yet it has now moved to the bottom right corner of the screen - and on some phones- need to be scrolled to be found. Some common sense please.
Good but still needs work
It would make so much sense if in the member progress, it automatically started at the age group they’re enrolled in rather than their first enrolment. Each time I view my children it starts from their infant progress and I have to change it to their school age one. Would make so much more sense to start where they already are.

Terrible
My gym has started using this app and it’s terrible. I want to view and book classes across different venues and there is no way to easily save your favourite venues and you have to search through a very long list of venues each time you want to look at another gym. The class search and filter functions are awful. Needs a major upgrade. Make more like MINDBODY!
App is good, like to see new feature
The app is good, though I mainly use it to get into my gyms through the entrance gates. I would like to see a new feature where I can access my gym through the gate not only on the app, it through the Apple wallet. It would be nice once added to the wallet, what gym access it is, member holder, membership tier (is applicable), and when trying to go in the gym, to have access to membership barcode and nfc (nfc if applicable)
Problem with passwords
Every time I log in it tells me I have the wrong email or password even when I check it in my saved passwords. When I go to change my password it still tells me I have the password and or email are wrong and there NOT!! I don’t have this problem with other apps😡
Calendar Sync or notification
I hope the schedule could be synced with the phone’s calendar. Sometimes, we might forget about our booked make up classes so it would be helpful if they are synced or we get notified if we have an upcoming booked class. If people find the alerts too annoying, maybe have an option to disable it. But that’s easily available in the phone settings already.

Really good update - very easy to use
Sub par app
Too many clicks to book a class. The worst “feature” is for changing centres. You have to spin through which takes ages instead of being able to type in a few letters to find your centre. The placement is also bad, I end up with the short screen. So frustrating!
It’s okey
Been booking my gym classes with this app, it’s okey but have couple of opportunities for developers to make it better 👍 and also, one annoying feature 🙈 1st when you choose a central and a day to make a booking would be great if it dose not resets a search back to empty fields, so each time if you want to make 2 or more booking for some day you have to re-entry search parameters each time. No about the annoying thing 😭 When you book a class and confirm your name it’s showing your age progress 🙈 (Anatoly 25.8 years) and I am not sure if that’s just me but I don’t want to know that I am getting close to next number each time I make booking for a gym class 😣 Thanks ☺️
Confusing
When I signed up I added card details etc. for the first few months I was getting late payment fees because my card details then were ‘logged’ on the app and it was so confusing to navigate when trying to fix this

Another great Aqua class with Zvitka this morning. Just 2 of us in the class so there was nowhere to hide!!! Can always rely on her delivering a purposeful 45 min class & I am starting to see the results. Thank you Zvitka !!!! 👏👏👏
Stop fiddling with it
It’ll work perfectly fine til it gets updated and then you can’t use anything. Stop making unnecessary changes I had access to my account until you did this and now I can’t!

I run my active world app on my iPad. Because l find it easier to see. Unfortunately I can not find how to also permanently install a app for my iPhone, for when I book in at my centre. I have to go to apple apps and search for your site and open.
Daily calendar
Can you break up the calendar but adding in a daily list of event rather than having to scroll ? All add images so each class list is easily identifiable via an image. If you need inspiration please check out the Fernwood Fitness app. They have great features.
Problem since updating to iOS 17.0.1
I like the app but since upgrading my phones iOS to 17. I can’t see any classes. I can see my membership etc but can’t book anything. I have reloaded but no luck. Will there be an update soon?
Not able to reschedule
When I try to look at my schedule - get this message - the GET method is not supported for this route. Suggested method: POST. After that nothing works
Cant update swim lessons
I used to be able to change my children's swim lessons under Book weekly lesson, but since they have moved up a level it no longer shows up and I can’t do anything. The center has said that a lot of their members are having the same issue. Very frustrating as I now have to always get a staff member to do this instead of being able to do it myself via the app.

Clunky hopeless app. You can’t even save your payment details and it is so antiquated and hard to use . You can’t even view multiple centers that you might be signed up to without signing out and back in. The app is pathetic
Class bookings
If a class is booked out, leave it visible so we know the class is still on. People always pull out, especially early in the morning. Would be good to know at 5:30am. Allow people to pull out of classes up until they start instead of the hour before currently in place. See above re early mornings. Put a wait list option on classes so when someone does pull out you can be notified to grab a spot. Again see above re early mornings.
Spinning
Not reliable for booking a class. Very frustrating to have the booking block up then have to delete the app and reinstall. Of course no spots let. Many members are complaining. 1 star from me.
Stuffed up App
Won’t let me put password in, have to go to Active World web site to book classes
Bad and only gets worse
Is always extremely slow to load. At times it doesn’t load at all so I can’t use my pass. Judging by other reviews the app developers don’t care about improving it.
No cancel or absent for classes in new update
New update pushed out and can no longer cancel or make someone absent from a class to access makeup. Terrible update
