Pretty good.
Pretty good. Needs to let you know on screen when the machine turns green. Sometimes logs out. Other then that’s it’s been good.
The digital check-in is not working
After updated the app few weeks ago, the digital check-in not working any more. Try so many time del and install app again, still not working. I left the detail to receptionist, they said IT support will follow up. But nobody contact me and the apps still not working. Rubbish ……
Filters please
Relatively intuitive app but would like a filter option to EXCLUDE certain classes eg Reformer as they just take up a lot of real estate if you’re looking at the timetable and you don’t have a Reformer membership
Checking in
Hi Goodlife, not sure how much you paid the developers for this app but TBH its a waste. Suggestion is that you need to utilise the wallet function for check in as the method currently you use struggles to work at the best of times and also integrate account management in the app. If banks and other organisations can do this, I’m sure you can as well
Good but
Good app. Easy to look at timetable. A few time it didn’t read my phone. However, my phone ran out of battery so I ended up standing outside the gym for ages because there was no one and my card key no longer worked :(
Product support is amazing
The app has its issues, but I really like how quick product support replies to queries and fixes issue. Very good!!
Access
Wrong date of birth was input to the system, due to this I cannot utilise the app for gym access and can only use during staffed hours. Staff have been told 3 weeks for the 3rd party to update DOB
Aesthetically fine but dysfunctional
The principal function of this app is to allow members to digitally access the gym; being able to see times for classes and the like are added benefits. Please make the change to NFC from Bluetooth. This app using Bluetooth as its method to allow members into the gym has kept this app to a sub 2/5 rating. Having anything else connected to your phone via Bluetooth instantly reduces a successful scan from 80% to about 10% — the pitch of this app is to make the check in experience as convenient as possible, however this hasn’t achieved this. Too many times have I experienced first hand standing in the cold/rain and it taking multiple app resets and phone restarts to gain entry after hours.

Terrible app check-in experience
Looked forward to app check-in until it was rolled out. Frustratingly slow to detect phones, makes for an award with the poor welcoming team every time while they chime in with “it’s really slow today” (everyday). Feels like incorrectly or insufficiently specified hardware readers as if it was an app issue would it not have been fixed with one of the many app updates so far? If my company had paid for this solution & received such a bad solution, I’d be asking for a refund.
Doesn’t work
Pure junk. There was no reason to get rid of physical cards in favour of this poorly implemented mess that seldom works. The staff know it, the devs know it, so why they are continuing to force members to use this broken junk is mind boggling. Nobody asked for this.
Logs me out
I used to leave a positive review, but I can now confirm that just like other user, I have to log in anew almost every time I open the app. I know what I’m doing: • I never quit the app. • I’ve selected “Remember me” on the log-in screen. And yet the app doesn’t manage to accomplish something as simple as keeping me logged in. Guys, it’s 2026. They just sent astronauts around the moon. I’m sure you can do this.
Annoying and slow and unreliable
Slow fiddly poorly designed and annoying. I’d gladly go back to a magnetic card What a mess.
Hardly works
This app hardly works. Removes and downloaded again and message said it would no longer open the wallet app when you are using - guess what. Wallet opens when I hold against reader. Worked fine first week or so - now works 1 in 10 tries. Staff behind desk just tell me not to bother now most of the time. Worked better when I manually added membership card to wallet and could use on Apple Watch !
Great Gym, Terrible App
Love Goodlife and the gym community and staff, so no complaints there, but the digital access is an absolute joke. You’re lucky if you can get in 50% of the time even with all the updates!

Complete rubbish. Works less than half of the time

Terrible idea, fob was 10x better. People getting lazy and get told to download app or do it online. Should be zero star to a minus
Worst app ever
Please allow physical access cards. The updates, the bugginess, the slow response and if your phone is dead. A few times had to go home rather than work out. Please revert to physical cards with a photo is fine but a PHYSICAL card that always allows you in the gym. It wouldnt be hard for someone to give their login to friends anyhow. This is DUMB. Goodlife sucks and so does this app as long as they force you to use digital means. I work in IT i dont want to have to stuff around with it at the gym. Stupid.
Pathetic
Literally never works. Was introduced to solve a problem that never existed. Perfect example of anti-consumer corporate behaviour
