Federal Medicare has no idea what MyDHR is
Have had absolute hell with this app. Disturbingly if you do not know how to use the app, mass discrepancies are inputted and they really don’t like to be corrected! They will also refuse to record mandated information. Hope OAIC, ahpra, and Medicare do an audit a day soon!

When a task is listed in a message (eg. update something) it would help if it could be hyperlinked as trying to find the relevant info to update is confusing.
Not easy to navigate
I find this app one of the most difficult to navigate. It is not clear and concise.
Could be more user friendly.
Messages aren’t clear as to what they mean. Rather than list information which probably makes sense to the sender, the receiver should receive information as to what the message is about, who sent it and why.

At last, an integrated and accurate health record!
I am delighted with this app. It provides me with administrative and clinical records associated with my various encounters with the ACT health system, allows me to see upcoming appointments, allows the information to be shared at my discretion with other health providers of my choice, and is easy to use. Congratulations to all concerned in its planning, development and implementation!

I love this app. It is so easy & to be able to access test results without going to dr again is great. I never miss a thing medically thanks to this app.

I was unable to access the summary of my visits, not very useful
Useful but somewhat annoying
The app works well for the most part and is designed pretty well, although it has issues with reminding me to check test results that I’ve already seen.

The problem I have with this system is that it is not used by all practitioners who have access to the system. I have had tests and procedures carried out by health professionals at Canberra hospitals that have not been reported on MyDHR

Annoying that it gives the option to not ask for an SMS in order to log in and completely ignores your answer.
Super-quick blood test results
I am so impressed with the speed with which blood test results are posted -within hours of having blood taken. Well done to all concerned.

Great app, never skipped a beat so far.
Poor Design, Missing Data & Data Duplicates
Much of the data contained within the Links is merely a repeat of data used in other areas, just on a different template. Often data accessed such as Discharge Summaries, disappearing from under the Health Summary page where it had been viewed days previous. Some pages don’t contain any data & have been left blank, for example Family History. Medication Records, some dates say medication only commenced in 2025 where medications in question were administered prior to 2025. More specific detail is required under Appointments for example, reason for appointment & outcome notes, a generic heading such as Follow Up Appointment in inadequate.

I along with most of the Australian community hate this new system. You gave us no choice. Now it’s impossible to make a simple phone call without either being online for eons or called back by someone in India half the time. You are cutting people of from human contact. We are no longer able to make a simple call. It’s disgusting. I am also very upset that the information is often incorrect and it very difficult if at all to get it corrected. Very dissatisfied client

Confusing
This is confusing. I am getting appointments booked at the same time as different departments can’t see that I already have appointments. It is not easy to read. I have been trying to search for appointment times and get lost. I also find it is NOT patient centred as I get random messages rescheduling my appointments without my consent.

It is easy to see the results of your tests. But, only a Doctor can give you a clear understanding of these tests
