The Best Macro tracker!
I spent a lot of years looking for a macro tracker. I know that lots of people like my fitness pal, but it bothered me that you had to pay so much for basic functions. I love this app and the people who created and manage the app. They are so nice and helpful anytime I’ve had questions or problems and I have reached out. They are amazing at getting back to me.
Great idea, terrible execution
I really wanted to use this app but I can’t because it doesn’t work. Most of the features won’t load at all, just a spinning circle and a message on the screen saying “This is taking much longer than expected. Please check your internet connection.” There’s nothing wrong with my internet connection. Every other app I have works perfectly. This is a great idea that sadly needs a lot of work done to the app before it’s functional.
Deben Corregir
Not very good for picky eaters
It won’t generate recipes if you don’t like a lot of ingredients. I feel like it should work around this for your macro’s
Finally !!
I finally found an app that has everything I was looking for. The meals that they provide are based off my macros and i have not had one disappointing meal yet. I’ve owned it for almost 2 months. And the way they make everything so easy and organized is amazing! Even just the free version gives you so many options. I recommend this to everyone that is on a fitness journey !
Doesn’t recognize allergies
Submitted gluten and wheat allergy and it’s still putting bread on my meal plan
Almost perfect
I was chatting to a friend of mine about how we need an app just like this in the world, to help a lot of people who can’t work out meals from macros. It was actually chatGPT that suggested this app to me and I’m keen to give it a go. From what I can see, it almost ticks every box I was looking for. However, I feel the focus on weight loss in general is where some avid users may feel the app is lacking. Perhaps a focus on bodyfat % loss would be of more benefit as many athletes need to gain/maintain muscle mass. Therefore, their weight might not go down but their bodyfat% would. I realise that they may be given their own macros from coaches, PTs etc. But more general people would also benefit from focusing on the bodyfat % loss, rather than overall weight. I have struggled with the mentality of this myself and now focus on toning up, not reducing numbers on the scales. Otherwise, I feel it’s not working and want to give up. So perhaps, also allowing measurements of body parts may help? Measure around the waist, hips, etc? Just a thought!
Not helpful
I put in my macros targets for keto and it said I was outside of their “recommended range” for fat so it didn’t give me any meals. Pretty much useless unless your macros fall inside their “recommended range”.
So close
My biggest gripe is not being able to add photos to recipes. They have so many premade recipes with photos, but on my own recipes I’m unable to add a photo. What’s silly is the recipes have space for a photo, there’s a big grey square assigned to it, just no way to add the actual photo. That may seem silly but I’m a visual person, and not being able to see what my day of meals will visually look like is frustrating. Especially knowing the space for the visual is literally right there, and seems to have been forgotten about. Sadly won’t be using this app until fixed
Actually Free!
I am new to this app but I already love it! It’s free! Yes there is a pro version, but the free version has plenty!
No Macro Control
I was not able to set in the Macros that is recommended from Lumen. It kept telling me that it’s outside of the recommended range, but I need recipes to go with my Lumen calculations!
Free version
It’s great as a free to use and I’m sure better once you pay but I won’t be paying yet
Great app
There needs to be a n option for low sodium meals. Some of the meals offered are pretty high in sodium.
TRENENDAMENTE bueno
Keto meal planning
It doesn’t support 75-20-5 percentage for keto meal prepping
Fantastic app
This app is revolutionary I haven’t seen anything like it I love this app. If you don’t get this app you probably hate yourself.
Needs Improvement
I have only used the free version so far, and I like the layout of the app and it’s features. However, I don’t like the way the grocery list displays quantities of foods. It would be much more helpful if the quantities were displayed in common available sizes in grocery stores instead of just in cups to make shopping easier.
Love this app!
I was actually building this exact thing and I’m so happy I found this before putting in 1000 hours of coding work haha
Not suitable for vegans
No meal plan options fir vegans. Please get with the times there billions that have made the change for environment animals( uh covid pandemic brought on by animal s) and for health reasons. Options to open your market would be helpful for thoes who would like that. Thanks
Great Job
Great app. Exactly what I needed. I’ve got a need for higher than normal protein intake, but your parameters don’t allow for meal planning beyond 40% of my calories intake. More flexibility would be great. I like that my meal prep list can be sent to Amazon for order fulfillment. This makes the meal prepping much easier. Do you expect a similar system for other restaurants? Say Walmart, Aldi, Jewels?
Pretty clean but
The app is pretty clean and easy to use but, at this stage an application without Widget is a no go for me.
Best Food App
Love how you can create a meal plan you actually will stick with it! Love the format, pick foods you like to eat, shopping list. Add more recipes from your website!
Unusable
Automatically sets your birthday and doesn't let you change it. In setup, it set it to 01/01 of the year I was born, then automatically switched it to the current date afterwards. Automatically changed my height too. The app doesn't do metric, which makes it entirely useless to me. Couldn't find any way to get to the preferences or settings, but maybe it's out there? Food is measured in metric in the pictures, but it was in imperial for me. Same with my height and weight, and I don't even know my height and weight in imperial. But that's all kind of pointless if the app thinks I was born five minutes ago. It seems really awesome in theory, but it's just impossible to use in practice.
I loved it, but it is missing one feature
The app was very nice. It shows nutritional facts, it build a meal plan with my preferences, allergies, and nutritional needs. The one thing I don’t like is that I didn’t have an option as far as skipping meals. I eat two snacks, dinner, and breakfast; but I don’t eat lunch. Many other apps allow you to chose which meals you would like, and I was disappointed that this one does not. That being said, this app otherwise is the best one I’ve seen.
Needs more flexibility with macro %s
Love the app, would love to use this! But I need less than 45% carbs for health reasons (as directed by physician) and the app won’t generate a meal plan unless my macros are within its recommended parameters.
Just do it already
I’ve used all the different meal plans and calculators. Eat this much, my fitness plan, meal board, you name it. I’ve only spent a few hours on this app so far, but can tell it’s going to be far superior. The nutritional data and information that export is great and right on track. Stop looking around and download this.
Useless
Useless app. Not user friendly and there’s no tutorial, guidance, or instructions on how to use. All the reviews are obviously fake
Cool App!
No other app that I’ve used has meal plans delivered to me as fast as this one. Love that everything is generated for me, but if I don’t like something I can tailor the meals to fit what I do like. Been using for a few weeks now, had a couple small bugs but nothing serious, excited to see where this app is a year from now!
Awesome
Love it
Been Great for Dieting
Even the free version has really helped me start eating healthier and make macros and meal plans for weight lifting. Would highly recommend to anyone trying to hit macros.
I love this app!!
I love how it takes the guesswork out a healthy balance lifestyle not only will it create a plan for your weight loss journey, it will do your meal plan and grocery list too. What more could you want ?!
