Used to be good, now I would highly avoid.
For 2 years this has been a great, free way for me to track my calories, now it’s awful. The past 3 updates have been terrible. They continue making the app harder and harder to use unless you pay. Like why can I not put in a half a serving of McDonald’s fries anymore. Why does that calculator thing even pop up. Go back to the old way where there is whole numbers and then qtr numbers for specific serving size. Quit updating the app yall clearly don’t know what you’re doing. Let me know when the app goes back to normal, for now I’ll have to find another app. Pitiful
My opinion
I actually love but a few issues I’m coming across that is a bit of an annoyance when you have a busy schedule is that the meals you make and prep are not able to be a saved meal even given the option. You hit the button “save meal” and nothing saves on top of that I dislike that you cannot get the exact amount of water you drink it’s only goes up by a certain amount. Other than that the app is good for simple use and not more serious calorie tracking.
please fix app
i loved this app because it was basic and simple, now you have to click ten different sections to track correctly. also we aren’t able to track by grams anymore for most stuff?? that’s so weird bro omg i’ve been using this for like 4 years now and how basic it was, was what made it such a good app.
Calories keep changing
It's a good app, but randomly my calories will go from 888 to 1600. Really hard to keep track of the amount you have left for the day; other then that it's a great app even in the free version

This is such a great app, it syncs to my health app and keeps me on track with my goals!
Subscription charge
I enjoy the free version of this app very much. However, every time you open the app, it offers you to subscribe to their premium version. Today I accidentally subscribed to the premium version when I opened the app and was charged to my Apple account. I attempted to reach their customer service, but it was very difficult. I would like a refund for this accidental charge so I can continue enjoying this app.

Keep Changing the app
Every other time i oprn this app its changed, i cant alter the grams, diffrent search making you on the app for too long
Used to be good
I used the basic version and was thinking of upgrading but decided against due to the new changes made where I can no longer alter the grams but have to use the specific measurement the food has been listed as which is annoying because it will be 0.75 of a portion which is technically incorrect depending on grams. Please change it back
Amazing App
I’ve had this app for more then 2 years and I can say if you stick to the plan, you will see results. I love this app. It makes weight loss and staying in shape a lot easier especially when I was first starting out and had no idea what to do.
Inaccurate
Used to be great, but recent updates have made it too much trouble to accurately log servings. Some foods also have inaccurate micros. Impossible to accurately log water. Scanning barcodes is the only benefit for this app over others.
Free Version
To anyone who sees this, you can find the free version by completing the set up and then closing and reopening the app, the X will show up after doing this. Also I love the app design, I praise the devs and designers for their work. Please just make the free version work on the first app launch 🙏
Can’t add food
It sounds good. I made the mistake of getting a yrly sub without making sure that you can add food items. You can’t! Which makes this app useless for me and stuck with a subscription.
Can’t log exact amount
Took away the feature to log foods by grams, that’s how I logged my food.
Grocery shopping
It says there’s a section for grocery list but I can’t find it anywhere
fraudulent & a scam
upon opening the app, it advertised a free trial period. I signed up for the free trial and it immediately charged me for a full year. After reaching out to Apple they told me that they could not refund me, and I've reached out to the developer multiple times with no response. I even wrote a review and they responded to it asking me to email them and said that they would give me a full refund. I have reached out to them three times since then and I still have not received a response.

Clunky App
I gave it a 2 star because you can track it through your health app but the servings aren’t detailed enough for me and I was looking for more of a nutritional tracker. Very clunky and harder to use so going back to old app
Bug needs fixed!!
I never really write reviews and I’ve used this app for a while now and have enjoyed it!! It’s easy and goal oriented!! However this year I FINALLY payed for a subscription and suddenly it is telling me my daily calories is 467?? I’ve loaded the app and it flashes to around 1,600 but then goes back to 467 and counts down from there!! Even my old entries are now saying I’m over my calorie count!! Need an update to fix this so I can get back on my grind please!!!

Shady sign up process
When I tried to sign up, the app offered me a “free trial” before the annual membership charge. I selected this option to try out the app. Then I immediately got charged the entire yearly subscription cost and did not receive a trial period at all. Would give 0 stars if I could.
Pretty good
I like the design and how its available for most ages but sometimes the calories arent perfect
inaccurate
the food tracker is very inaccurate for example it will say one brand of egg is like a ridiculous amount of calories and or fat like 12,000 then another brand is 100.
Journal
The journal has disappeared since downloading the app. I like everything else about it but this is just super annoying. You can utilize what I feel is the most necessary part of the app
Simple, clean, great
Love the app and have used in consistently for the past 2 years. My only gripes are that the full nutritional info doesn’t flow to apple health (just the water intake) and the favorites section for foods isn’t working anymore. Other than that, the UI isn’t congested, everything is easy to track, and laid out nicely! It’s what I recommend to the people I train for workout!
Garbage
It’s been a while since I’ve used this pathetic app and it’s safe to say that I’m beyond disappointed with their new updates. In the older version, it was so much easier to log your food quantities and change between grams to oz. But now, they’ve made it a pain in the back to effectively log your food without having to pay. I really don’t understand why they chose to change something that already worked fine. It’s useless now.
Great app but incorrect macros
This is a great app but the daily budgets are not reliable. I am a 31 year old, moderately active woman of average size and it sets my daily protein budget as 190g! It would be better if the next update would allow us to change the macros if needs be

Doesn't tell you its £3.99/week (£16~ a month) until you set your account up. Shady practice honestly.

This app is good until you try to scan a food barcode, I’ve tried so many things and it doesn’t know them or gives the wrong food
Weight Loss
This is great for weight loss because it limited my calorie consumption and i managed to get my goal weight
No free trial!
You have it printed that I’d get a free trial but you charged my card full price at the same time! There was no free trial!! This is dishonest and unethical!!!
Good for basic tracking
This is a pretty handy app for tracking calories, but you might have to incorrectly track some foods if they’re not recognised by the app (mostly experiencing this with imported foods) as you can’t seem to input the numbers yourself if the item isn’t in their database. I’m also slightly confused why this app thinks I should be eating 200g of protein a day, that’s a little overkill from what I’ve researched!
Bug fix please
Could you guys please fix the bug where when I try to search for my food, it gets stuck on the loading sign.

It’s pretty good was excited to try it out paid for one week it was kinda good not really worth 4$ a week and not that important but the logo is pretty generic and boring, would recommend changing it.

the new update is terrible, i’ve been using this app since i started lifting (roughly 4-5years ago) it was always my go to and i told a lot of people to use it the new update is honestly just terrible. terrible.

This app has been amazing at helping me stay on track with my diet although I do wish there was a feature where you could look back at your previous weights inputted as at the moment I can only see a graph but no numbers

Get rid of the AI
I liked this app because it was one of the few without ai. Incredibly disappointed with the update, I will not be using it anymore.
Great App.
So far I’ve been using this app for about a week, and find it really easy and fun to use. Just punch in description of food and the app easily finds what I’m looking for with a great choice of brands and portion size to then apply to breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack. Easily automatically picks up the steps from my apple health app also. A very easy app to navigate and use. Have tried many different food and calorie tracking apps, and have found them all far to complicated and time consuming to continue using. But so far this has been my favourite. I am using the standard free version and find it great.
Can’t add own meal items
Compared to other apps available, this one could technically be way better but it lacks simple functionality such as the ability to add your own meal item. Most simple items don’t scan with the barcode so you’re forced to spend ages trying to find something similar/close, but not the same nutritional values. You should allow users to add their own meal item with nutritional values taken from the pack, if you also allowed them to put the barcode of the item you could increase your database of known barcode items very quickly!
It's Impossible to Save Meals?
When I click save meal it doesn't actually do anything at all and having to put the same ingredients again and again is discouraging me from using it even though I like the interface

Not user friendly anymore
It used to be very user friendly but they recently changed everything so much. A lot harder to use with a consistent diet. Just use MyFitnessPal

Only for builders
I set my goal as weight loss and the app made my calorie target enough to gain weight. So bizarre, and I can’t even change it.
No customisation??
This database of foods they have is surprisingly good, the foods I eat are always on their databases with its exact calories…however their calculations for how many calories I need to eat is definitely off and I would like to customise that value myself but I cannot unfortunately
