AMAZING! But…
This game is actually so good to relax, but I actually think there should be more jojo songs, like SPIN, Bloody Stream, Stand Proud and Sonochino Kyoku. Pls add them 🥹

I was excited to play this game until I read the terms of service. Unbelievably terrible access to use and own your information. Shameful and disgusting way to treat a customer.

Maybe it's a region thing? Not the same songs as shown in the preview video
I'm not sure if it's a regional thing, but I've been looking for some songs that were shown in the preview video like Hyakka Ryouran and Saitama 2000, but they're not there. Maybe they were a limited time thing, maybe they're only available in Asia? I don't know, but it seems like false advertising to me.

Some songs are in the wrong genre, Like with the mlp theme it shouldn’t be in anime, Anime isn’t short for animation It’s short for Japanese animation, It’s short for animation only in Japan and in other places it’s short for Japanese animation

Lily wolf 12,here again. Listen up team taiko no tatsujin, where on earth is that " DON DOKO DON!" for don Chan? This is driving me nuts! So please, PLEASE... Add the don DOKO don. Yet the game will be pleased with taiko magic. Ugh why!?! 😓🥺
Limited song library
The song library is pretty outdated and limited compared to the version you would get in an arcade. I don’t think they are even still adding new songs. And honestly, it just doesn’t feel the same playing on a phone. I recommend you to just go to an arcade instead of paying for Apple Arcade. You get a much better experience with much more and newer songs that way.
Taiko no Tatsujin
This game has so much potential but it lacks some super basic but incredibly importsnt features which almost every rhythm game has, like adjusting the note speed (overall) and increasing the note offset to a higher value than what the maximum is, for wireless devices. There aren't a lot of songs but there are some really fun ones, and i wish the difficulty didn't jump so much between 7 and 8. This is a decent game for practice but it could easily be better

The beats and the music are completely off beat!
Absolutely terrible, do not waste your money on this, the music is completely off beat compared to the notes. Tried to adjust it but it barely worked and was still too fast/slow depending on the song, and on the highest adjustment, the note simply disappears. Do better

Some very odd music choices
There’s not a lot of tracks, and a lot of them you can’t really “feel” the beat, making them rather puzzling choices for a rhythm-based game. The difficulty gap between medium and hard is also too wide: medium is too easy even for a beginner, but hard is too hard.
Love taiko but…
Pause issue, it pauses constantly and will not stop. After around 1 frame it pauses again. Taiko is one of my favourite but you need to up the game patches

This app has consistently crashed on launch for me despite multiple attempts at deleting / restoring it.

I redownload this to play it again but everything except the sound of the drum is working and I checked all applicable settings regarding it; drum volume, drum sound effects etc. Please fix!

Hard but great!
So it’s hard and I wish they still had it at fun zone arcade but they closed! So when I saw this, I was so happy! Then I started playing and fun zone if you are reading this please bring back the the arcade so I can play the game there.
It doesn’t work smoothly with 120hz device like iphone 14 pro
There are some frame drop with my Iphone 14 pro/ipad pro. Even I enabled the limit frame rate back to 60hz, it doesn’t work as well. However, it works perfectly with my iphone xs. I really love Taiko and I subscribe Apple arcade because of Taiko. Hope this issue can be fixed

Anyone else having problems? I loved thus game and played a lot but now it just goes to a black screen after loading. What a shame and support didn’t seem to want to help!
Weird Graphical Bug
The game is great, fun to play, and has a lot of good songs. The only problem is this bug that I ran into a while back. No matter what I do, changing graphics settings, even a different device, nothing seems to work. What happens is the drum doesn’t render, and the icons for when you’re supposed to play don’t render. The game is still great, wish I knew how to fix this bug though.
bad selection of songs
compared to the online version (which doesn't exist anymore 🥲), it feels like there are few good songs in the game right now. especially for the vocaloid category. there are only 6 vocaloid songs compared to like 15 classical?? plus new songs don't get added very often. i almost never feel like playing this game bc there are only like 5 songs i actually like to play. all i do is check every month or so if they've added new songs. beatmaps already exist for so many more songs i don't understand why they are so slow to add them 🧍♀️
Keeps missing imputs
Constantly the game will not register when I hit and ruin a combo. Especially with big notes, the game (no matter how good my timing is) registers it as two, or nothing at all, at least once per song if it’s even sort of fast. I really enjoy this version of taiko, but it feels impossible to get a full combo let alone a donderful combo on extreme difficulty at all.

i need help with audio
i cant seem to get the audio working. i deleted and dowloaded the game, turned my volume all the way up, messed around with the app settings and device settings. i have audio in other apps so i dont know what is going on

Okay but not worth it in the long run
I used to be able to easily complete level 8 extreme songs on my PC, but this app isn’t even close to how my experience was. When multiple notes appear on screen the FPS drops to like 30 and it becomes really hard to see the notes. The worst thing is that it fixes itself when less notes are onscreen, but as soon as more come the fps drops again and gap in graphics makes me lose my combo. The timing is completely off, even when I turn down the FX volume and adjust it to a negative number. Even the “Adjust notes” feature is pretty bad, since my low fps means sometimes I can’t tell whether I’m too early or late. You also need to adjust the notes position manually to match the hit box which isn’t that bad, but then the song just ends for some reason? And then I have to restart the adjust feature? I know I’m really late, but they definitely need to add more songs too. Too many in the NAMCO section compared to others, especially the VOCALOID section. Overall, a good game if you just want to tap some notes in taiko, but nothing I would bother seriously devoting to. It’s worth investing in a TaTaCon rather than playing this game.

The game is good but you should do A FRIDAY NIGHT FUNKIN collab like roses or thorns, or ugh, OR EVEN TUTORIAL. PLEASE DO IT, I’ll change to five stars
The penalty is way off
The penalty area is so off that I’ve played the game from nds era but this game only brings me the bad memories and is not that forgiving even with 30mins playing with all the settings
