Great golf game, maybe even worth 5*
I used to love playing PGA Tour on consoles, although some were definitely way better than others. I remember wishing that a decent mobile game existed with good mechanics and Apple has delivered it on Arcade without the bs. Loving this. Perfect for those waiting rooms or boring commutes. Haven’t explored everything it has to offer, particularly online multiplayer aspects, but I’m loving the gameplay itself. I gave 4* but it could be worth 5* and I may update with that. Overall this was a GREAT pickup for Apple Arcade.
Needs a landscape mode, laziness.
This is a good golf game for Apple Arcade finally. It is getting back to the quality of the original PGA tour golf games. The big issue is that I play this on my iPad and there is no landscape mode, which is a huge miss in my opinion. **update, i have actually stopped playing as the lack of a landscape mode is so big an issue on iPad**
Replay count wrong
The replays (such as 5 or 25) always end one short unless the replay includes the first play. If so it should say that. Also, there has to be cheater codes out there. Even in an arcade golf game it’s not feasible for people to get 40 under par on 18 holes. Still it’s an enjoyable game.

Thank you for the forever perfect views of Pebble and Spyglass! … Oct 2026 review - the game is still a great game with the new courses, TGL holes, etc. Once maxed, the game is all about the golf balls - those you can’t buy. Aiming becomes your approach shot with the most accurate clubs being the driver and the long iron. A maxed wood or maxed short iron are terrible for approach shots regardless of the accuracy percentage - the aiming rings don’t fit the help tips. The golf ball awards need work - two types regularly received (Hot D1, Viper Strike) are basically non-playable. So why does the game think I’ve needed +45,000 of each?

Absolutely love the game but have almost 30 mil and can only buy one bag at a time which would take hours to do so anyway we can make a more expensive bag or be able to open multiple at once
would be great if….
if it didn’t take 90 seconds and 8 clicks to go from one event to another if the wind resistance and reads where more accurate if the statements were true about getting more from each prize the higher you go if getting equipment wasn’t as hard as finding a lost eye contact in the ocean

The thing I’d like to know is how top players in the pro series are able to play in amateur events where beginners have no chance to move up? The game had to be developed by Trump not only is cheating ok it’s encouraged by the developers it’s designed to keep top players at the top and weed out less skilled players.

Beware of Unfair Play/Hackers!!
As the title states, this game is littered with accounts that use unfair modified hacks and mods to enhance their scores beyond reasonable or possible means which ruin the game experience for everyone else. This becomes especially more widespread as you increase the level of your division of play. I have already reported multiple accounts now to the support team, but have not received any correspondence or verification that any action was taken to rectify or prevent this from happening. Outside of that, it is a good game to play and I recommend it for the casual player not worried about performance. For those of you who do care about performance and fair play, I would highly recommend you look elsewhere.
Constantly reboots… Sometimes multiple times in one round
Decent game, Winning scores indicate multiple holes in one or albatrosses, which are not very understandable
A GAME FOR HIGHLY SKILLED PLAYERS
If you are looking for a highly realistic golf game that lets you play tournaments like the pros on superb courses and great locations, this is the game I was looking for. However, the game has an unpleasant rule. If you play only tournaments, even if you win millions in prize money, you can never access the best clubs; to unlock them, you are required to play head-to-head tournaments across seven levels. Since this is a game for the whole family, they should consider players who aren't as skilled at gaming and offer other options.
My New Favorite…..but
Great game. I wish the pin would be pulled once your ball is on the way on Eagle and Double Eagle chances. Seems unfair to have it act like a bumper in pinball. Oh, and the tie breakers RUIN the Head to Head experience. Why do you need to shoot a completely separate hole when you earn tie breaker points on each hole in the tournaments. If I shoot the best in head to head then I should not have to move to a tie breaker hole if my opponent shot worse, but made it in the same number of shots. This is VERY frustrating!

Glitchy and unfairly rewards poor sportsmanship
Game has a lot of potential but it is glitchy to the point it interferes with game play which is frustrating. Also there are several players obviously using some sort of cheating device because they consistently post scores that are ridiculously above average compared to the rest of the field. Would be easy to fix, just give high scorers their own league or institute a handicap system but I think the devs like it this way because it boosts engagement. Seems disrespectful to the average user who just wants to play a fun game that is actually competitive. The way it is now the tournament scoring system seems rigged and unfair.
Great, But One Ask
This game is great and has become my go-to game. I have one ask to the developers to improve the game play: when purchasing things like golf bags from the Pro Shop, can you add a capability that allows us to select the quantity of bags we want to purchase at one time? When you’re sitting on $30,000,000 and want to buy a bunch of golf bags, the amount of mindless clicking you have to do is insane.

What a load of cheating swill this is! I was lying in fourth position overall after 1 round of a 2-round, NO REPLAY competition with only 15 other players from the field of 200 not yet having completed their round. The worst I could finish was 19th position, yet when I logged in the next day I was in 128th, and missed the cut for the top 100 players. Nice stitch, gang! Game was immediately deleted 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
Fun but…
Fun but this game needs to give you the ability to switch clubs when on the rough. Although, playing on a phone is probably more challenging then if I had a controller playing on a large screen.

It’s not. After reaching tour 4 and getting a decent an into the game, now the game is plagued with timeouts and connection problems.
Buy multiple golf bags
The game is really good. I’ve enjoyed playing it for many hours. I’ve accumulated multiple millions of coins, But the one issue I have now is that I can’t buy multiple diamond bags to upgrade my clubs. I have to buy one at a time? Seriously. Please fix this. Thanks.

Nice game BUT…
In the beginning it is a nice game, nice graphics, challenges etc. When you’re upgrading your clubs and staff though, it becomes a bitter story. Specifically when you are buying the “Diamond” bag stating that you will get 100% a random club’s cards (up to 8 cards) after certain player’s level, you get only 5 balls for 250,000! I thought this might be a bug so I again paid for a diamond bag and again I received only 5 balls…. Tried many times, again the same! So disappointed tbh. If after a certain level you get only 5 balls instead of a random club cards then just state it and don’t lure people to buy a Diamond bag for getting only 5 balls…
Watermantis
The app provides a decent variety of courses and options to play. It rewards play with different trinkets and such. Of late in the Spanish 18 course i noticed a few glitches; inaccurate stroke count, ball trajectory tracking disappearing while figuring the approach and fairways becoming skies. These glitches thus far only appear on this course.
Bored
This is a great game but like most games you play for a while it gets to a point where levelling up stuff is too hard. I have just spent $15m (yeah million) coins on bags to try to get some Pulse club upgrades. I got none. Zero. Nought. Squat. Uhmmm getting bored.
Cheating? Really?
This is a decent game with smooth graphics and great renders. It could be a great game if there was moderation against the blatant cheating that skews all the standings. It’s kinda ridiculous when you go 22-24 under for a tournament and end up at 145th in the standings while the top 10 is filled with people who shoot 36-38 under consistently. Getting double eagles and albatrosses ought to be rare. Instead, they’re just par for the cheaters course. It’s puzzling why these folks actually cheat in a free game with no tangible prizes. Fix this and it would be a five star game.

Won’t progress Head-to-Head
I loved playing this game, but for some reason the head to head won’t let me play passed tour 5, I go to click play, it makes the little ding noise and the screen freezes, no matter how many times I restart the game, delete it and redownload it, it’s stuck on tour 5.
Mac Can’t Do Online
I see from another year old review that I’m not the only Mac user who can’t do online. Fun game, but I can only do online with my iPad.
Minor fixes needed.
You need to be able to play from the “out of bounds” areas. It’s so needlessly limiting and costs the player opportunities for fun circus shots. Camera angles also need to be adjusted for putting. It sucks the life out of putting when the camera angle forced focus ensures no matter the break / distance of the putt, they all visually look the same going in. Minimal changes would create for a much better game.
Fun but battery drain
Fun golf game with basic mechanics. Annoying lack of club selection. You are locked into club choice based in distance from the hole instead of getting to choose your club each time. The worst is how this game drains battery from your device. There surely must be some more efficient way to code this game than have it drain the battery likes its some AAA 60 fps rager

I’m really enjoying this game. Easy to learn, many nuances to master. Lots of fun while still quite challenging - like real golf.
iMac issues
I have cancelled my subscription as it wont allow you to play on line due to restrictions...no multiplayer function etc etc. I have checked all my settings but this product clearly wont work on the iMac

Its smooth gameplay haven’t lagged a single time great graphics, but it won’t allow me to play multiplayer I have to play practice.
Not a golf game
It’s an arcade game where you get challenges and receive gold coins. Putting is really easy, you can pretty much one-putt every hole. If you just want to play a round, you can have a practice round, but it doesn’t score properly. I hit it in the water twice and should have been +3 for the hole, but it gave me a bogey. Not a game for golfers.

Cheating has ruined this fun game…
I had been playing this game a great deal as it was fun despite being a bit glitchy. I never mastered it in the sense of winning big tournaments all the time, but felt like the gap between my scores and the winners were plausible and possible. However, players like ITS_EYE_8, have clearly found a way to manipulate the game (I have screen shots of their scores) and have created multiple accounts with a variation on that user name. In the tournaments over the last two days they have scored -37, eagling every single par 4 and double eagling every single par 5. This is 10-12 strokes ahead of the 2nd or 3rd place scores. In one tournament a second profile called ITS_EYE_TOO took second place with -32. This clearly takes the fun out of this for all the players who are not cheating. I’m not going to play anymore as, even if I improve, I can never challenge a cheat.
Fun time waster
Fun enough game to play while sitting on the toilet, otherwise kinda pointless due to endless cheaters. Level up your clubs all you want, that other dude just had 3 holes in one and 2 albatrosses in one round 👍

Hard to master but good to play. Forget pvp, many are cheating, the cheats are easy to get/buy. Round a potentially great game.
Good game but needs more oversight.
I like the mechanics and physics of the game and they do create new content at a good rate. My problem is they advertise for Survivor series all the time and it never happens, but they manage to keep the Thunderdome series option on the tournament screen for days after it fills up. Annoying!

Club selection
In a game of golf I can change my clubs, I should be able to change my clubs in this game, to be able to putt from the edge of the green or take an iron from the rough.
Good game shame about letting players cheat
Great game, easy to learn, only gripe is there are obviously a very large amount of players that are cheating the game through the iOS settings, this should be frowned upon but it’s obviously a grey area the makers don’t care about
