Not happy
I have been playing FM for a long time now and this is the worst one I have ever played….. The game is close to be terrible, can’t answer media questions at all, other teams want my players for less that the players value almost every time yet I’m expected to pay £100 million for a player that’s worth 65 million….. every time I load a new game there seem to be a new bug stopping me from doing something, currently I can’t change my players starting 11 while on the tactics page, I have to keep closing the game and restarting it because it keep opening the previous page….. players always seem to want stupidly expensive wages, even when your getting new youth players, some of them asking for £30,000 at the age of 15…….

Hoping for more
First off I am sorry. Your team has taken so many hits this year and I’m sure it has not been an easy environment to work in for so many involved in developing the game. The pressure must be intense. Having said that I also implore you to get what needs to be done done. FM have consistently delivered excellence and created a brand and adoring following (including myself) who have spent far to many hours on a ridiculously good game. What was put out this year was not good enough. I currently play the touch edition and after so much excitement waiting an extra year the game was simply (and I mean it) unplayable. I stopped after a week after release and searched for what had gone on. I redownloaded the game last week and it’s clear you have been busy. I can see the vision of the new system and there is a marginal upgrade on graphics in touch. Whilst now a playable game it is still far far below the standards you have set previously. Pages simply missing, functions not working, Views that are impossible to find and bugs destroying the experience every step of the way. I don’t know how much trust you have left if you release a game that doesn’t fix really basic ui and design floors which include (all responses on the touch version) Squad view is terrible and I can’t see or filter by transfer value. No screen to see squads transfer value Really difficult to find your players transfer value (hidden in offer player to clubs screen) Daily Fixture screen having no next button on the right hand side Fixture loading screen not being a back to back process, instead taking you back to your inbox destroys flow The inbox is clunky and doesn’t feel as smooth as previous editions. The news feed is frozen so I just see that I am the new manager of the club on repeat I love football manager and hope you can resolve it before it’s too late!

Edit: On release, October 25’. Game was broken, unplayable. By update January 26’ game was still broke, unplayable. By update May 26’ game was still broke, mildly playable. By October 26’ gamr playable but deeply flawed at depth. UI still a total mess. Many features and tools still completely inaccessible. Worst FM ever. Avoid.
Amazing!
It bugs and takes me out of the app, but the rest is the best that could have happened in this game. Recommended for Apple Arcade.
Ok but not so good on iPad Mini
Appears to overwhelm memory in older iPad which is a shame as gameplay is pretty good otherwise. Result is the game bombs out randomly, usually half way through a match making it unusable on this platform. Please fix memory usage issue 🙏
What happened to the opening scenes
Did you guys cut out the beginning scenes of the matches where they warm up and you hear the theme for the EPL with the player walk out and all??

Could the AI be improved for transfer questions? I practically only receive offers from Arabian teams, so it could be more balanced with more teams making offers. Also, we could increase the slot capacity to choose between 7 to 8 playable leagues, or increase the scouting team's ability to find players from unselected leagues (or bring in the best young players from unselected leagues), and have big clubs buying those players so they consequently appear in the database. Additionally, we could reduce the frequency of team injuries, as many players get injured too easily and very often, and have more interaction with the fans. Finally, I would add the UEFA Youth League for Under-21 competitions.

Months and months of nothing
As someone who plays touch every year as I get time to commute. This is a disaster, everything that worked and ran smoothly in fm24 touch is gone. Ui made worse and clunky, changing tactics becoming a glitchy chore, basic things like not being able to change both captain and vice captain in one season. Despite the updates featuring “bug fixes” the bugs simply came back with later updates or introduced new ones. The game is still very much broken. It feels more like a task just trying to play it than it does a game. Feels like at most 1 person quality tested the game and its updates and they ignored everything they said anyway. Very sad as I love the touch version, but this year round it’s terrible
Great Game But Buggy
As an avid fan of soccer/football I love this game. The only issue is it can be quite buggy at times. Game action screen doesn’t always display after a cut away to live play. I have to continually tap to try and bring it up along with my coaching sidebar tools. If we could fix stuff like that it’d be solid. I’d also love to see more options with formations. Half the time I select one and it doesn’t even work, but puts players out of position. That’s the biggest bug that needs squashed to make it 5 stars.

“View your team’s performance in Data Hub!” Data Hub has no data. Postgame ratings for the two teams that just played, side by side … oops, no, it’s the home team’s ratings twice. If you’re the away team, too bad. Player profile says she can be recalled from loan. There’s no option to do that. Fun game, but wow, this is frustrating.

So glitchy
Can’t seem to view subs positions for some reason?… no way to change attributes. Really clunky, sometimes buttons just don’t respond at all. And freezes if I try to manually save game. Loads more issues. Just tried to replay September 26 this and it’s absolutely unplayable. So many issues I don’t even know where to start. Totally lost all faith in football manager games

Great game but something that’s stopping it from being five stars is the ability to not be able to watch the entire game, add that and the game will be perfect
Crashes ruin the game
Many aspects of the game are very good, the UI is challenging selecting your first 11 should not be a challenge of dexterity and patience also the random crashes especially during matches make it unplayable winning as the underdog in the 77th minute then the game crashes.
Need a light color option
This is a fun simulator. But i have a hard time reading light font on datk backgrounds. And there is no option to swap to a light mode. Please fix this for next time.

UI Unusable
Would be great, but impossible to navigate. Game gets stuck and you can’t scroll. Gutting… Don’t bother wasting time with it :(
WHY I CANT RESIGN??
The game is great, Graphics is clear and great HD, but my problem is that I can’t resign, or should I say I don’t know where to go for resigning, which it should be in player Profile.

really really poor from the people who made this it’s full of game breaking bugs and useless buttons, you can’t see the award winners section, when out of management from a couple of months you get rejected from EVERY national team regardless of your history, the game constantly blacks out, there’s certain sliders that don’t work for example on the NXGN section, there’s no biography section for players and for some reason it’s blacked out of staff, there’s 200million cash injection doesn’t work just so many things wrong with it

The game has so much potential however it is unplayable on the iPhone Game keeps crashing Won’t let you sub certain players off Randomly changing players positions Unable to do press conferences And the main menu tends to be awkward to use I’ve played both this game and the standard Netflix version I feel like if the menus and hubs where a lot more simply like on the Netflix version added onto fm touch version and taking out the bugs this game would deffo be 5 star in the making I love the Netflix version however it does start to get restricted and boring after a while if you could combine the positives from both games that would be great

I can’t even tell if the game is doing what I tell it to
Five separate bugs in one evening. Pre-match tram talks never appear - literally can’t give the team talk before the game. Half-time and full-time work. But pre-match doesn't appear even in competitive fixtures. It’s just missing. Position retraining doesn't work. Unavailable across multiple players. Reported since launch, still broken. Saving crashes the game. An iCloud conflict dialogue appears, becomes unresponsive, and the only escape is a force quit. Player partnerships vanish when you change shape. The link disappears from one panel while remaining in the other. Same players, same partnership, two screens contradicting each other. The tactics don't appear to register. I set a Gegenpress — high press, counter-press, trigger press much more often. The pressing stats came back showing no press whatsoever. Work Ball Into Box is on and my team took five long shots from twelve. Players have moved themselves out of position in the out-of-possession shape without me touching anything, and the game then flags them for being out of position. Do not get this game, it simply doesn’t function.

Why is there no global news getting information about all other team around the world that’s my only problem with the game except from this it’s perfect
Missing things
It’s alright but you can’t scroll to answer questions, so you end up leaving press conferences having not answered anything. Other items you can’t action as they don’t appear on phone screen
Good in Theory
Like everyone says, the 26 variant feels like a step back due to numerous technical issues, especially glitchy menus. As there is seemingly no way to report issues with the developer I must report here. Every time you are presented with the reporter question messages, no opinions come up as a response and the only option is just leaving the interview without saying anything. Seems like an easy issue to correct but it has been in the game since the release of this version. Otherwise still like the concept but seriously fixes are still needed even to get back to 24 level of enjoyment. On top of this issue, two fun features were eliminated, the career timeline and pre/post match animations. Both were nice little touches to increase realism, especially the latter. Seeing your team lift the trophy at the end of the season was one of the best moments in the game and now there’s just a message that says you won and it moves on. Are you kidding?
I think that this is a bug
Yesterday I downloaded the game until now everything was going well until in the part in which the reporters start to make me ask I'm supposed to see options to answer but the game seems to be buggy and only lets me reject the interview or continue nothing else and it's already having a good time the same and played games like this before and it should give me options to answer but it doesn't happen please could you look at that, besides that everything is fine good game

Honest opinion
As for the only football manager game on the market and do the things that y’all do and finally getting teams licensing after years of legalization is truly amazing, I thank you the dev for y’all hard work and dedication, outside of the mobile aspect because I played on pc as well this has a massive and immerse database that takes a lot of work, scouting and data analysis very impressive work you guys. The game is all terrible we just haven’t adjusted yet but honestly I think it’s a huge step up from fm24 gameplay feels smoother tactics and player movement are simply stunning by far better than EAFC but that’s besides the point lol. Amazing game that also deserves amazing praise. People forget to understand the dev teams are people as well.
Such a downgrade
Fm24 touch was genuinely very decent for mobile, this is just horrendously bad. Don’t bother. Netflix one is in 2D but the UI is much better.
FM 26 Touch
The game is fantastic. But take note of some of this error. The first one is the game having game limit. So that means I only get to play just 30 seasons. That needs to change. I should be able to play as long as I want that is why it is called a game. The second one is I’m unable to reply reporters that ask me questions on deadline day of each transfer window. Can you please that sort out. As a manager i should be attracting clubs and national teams so that means if I’m performing perfectly well clubs and national teams should be offering me contract. So pls work on this error. Also the fact that I can only coach men teams is not good enough. I should be able to coach women teams too both club and national teams

I have played this game a lot and there are things I love but the snags, bugs and lack of immersion kill it. Give me fm21 touch with women’s football and I’m happy. Drop the match engine if needed. I can’t take another match where I hit the bar 12 times.

Great Game - Great Update - Very Buggy - (Game updates since fixed some bugs)
First of all the 2026 FM update was excellent! I really like the new design. It is overall a huge and great update to both the UI and match graphics, where I like all the changes. The new UI feels easier to navigate through and to me feels very simple. So the overall gameplay and UI feel like a huge improvement over FM 24!!! I think they incorporated just the right amount of elements into the UI and gameplay to make It so it would be in theory very fun. It is similar to fm 24, but easier to see and navigate through, with huge improvements to the UI and graphics both. And yet, while this is a GREAT GAME, currently the amount of bugs makes it almost unplayable (while still some bugs, this has been resolved and it is playable now). I think the issue was that it was released before it was fully ready. Even on very fast Mac machines, there needs like some serious debugging fast. It should move quickly between UI screens and UI clicks, but after you click there is like a brief lag when clicking through the UI to play the game (not in match mode, in just navigating the U). I do not think it is about the graphics or issues like that, just the bugs and glitches. It should run smoothly on fast Max machines. It makes me think the developers need to hire additional people to debug this game asap or put the game through a debugging AI, because the lag UI delays and bugs makes it almost unplayable. Despite the bugs, the 2026 version looks incredible, and is a huge step forward with the UI. It just was pre-released before the game runs smoothly on a Mac, so is not very playable for too long currently because of the lag when moving through the UI, where it does not run smoothly and snappy yet. Therefore, compared to FM 24 the UI is a huge improvement. It is just the time it takes to click through the UI (due to the lag bugs) is what is the real issue. It has nothing to do with the design of the game and improvements, which were excellent improvements. Thus, my 5 star review as I felt the game in design and new UI is a huge improvement over 2024. Despite the bugs I really like the new UI, and the game is much better. It is just too early on, such that the bugs will hopefully be fixed soon to make the game run quickly and smoothly. I am on a Max chip, so there should not be these lag hesitancies during UI navigation between clicks and screens. Again, there was NO ISSUE with the UI design or gameplay or graphics, which are all excellent improvements! I understand that this was a major update, such that there are many bugs, and therefore my 5 star review is because I know the game will be incredible once these bugs are all fixed and sorted through. ——— Updates since initial review: A major patch fixed some of the bugs. The game is much snappier then before and became playable. There are still bugs though. For example, there is a list of jobs available to hire in game- like a technical director, fitness director, goal keeping coach, yet these are not actually available to hire for in this version. While it would be great to be able to choose a goal keeping or fitness coach, you cannot actually sign one. It is hard to know how to improve your goalie or your improve the players in your squad to their potential is it the Head of Youth or Assistant Coach? There are no assistant coaches with goalie stats. So there are many coaching jobs available in the coaches screen to click on that we cannot hire for. Also you cannot compare coaches, there is no compare button for coaches still, while there was in FM24. All the coaching attributes viewable have odd incorrectly not properly formatted wrong colors (shifting from red for elite (sometimes) to green for elite (sometimes). (they have fixed these miscolored attribution labels in a patch since.) When recruiting and bidding on a player for your team, you can only sometimes include a player to exchange as part of your bid (the players to exchange option with your bid appears intermittently, sometimes it is there, sometimes it is not, despite a transfer window being open). Just bug fixes needed throughout. More time has passed and still there are coaching jobs available we cant actually recruit for. Some coaching columns like adaptability do not show up, it shows a -, instead of a number. Also, the attribute for physiology, every head physiology coach is showing an elite level of physiology stats, though when you click on an individual coach, they show outstanding or very good physiology. So there are discrepancies in the coaching labels. Also, the auto training feature does not work well. You need to manually do it. (bug fix needed for this). Despite having assigned a staff to run set pieces, it makes you go through a set piece orientation every time. Run this through Claude Code and get it debugged or something? For the management - More resources need to be given to debugging this game, look at all the feedback on the bug issues and the frustration the bugs are causing various users. —— Again, I am personally very happy this was a major engine update and so understand there are bugs that come along with that. The new vision for FM is excellent, it just takes some time to get all the kinks worked out. Thus, I am very happy with the game overall, as well am happy that sports interactive was ambitious enough to make major changes from fm 24. I personally understand the game was a little pre-released before it was fully ready. 5 star game and 5 star fm 26 updates.

Unresponsive UI Makes Hard to Enjoy
FM Touch on Apple Arcade is usually a good, solid title. However, an hour into 26 & it no longer seems to be the case. Whilst the UI update since 24 is more suited to Mobile & Tablet gaming, I find myself accidentally closing menus or not being able to scroll down. This by itself is enough to make me stop playing, as hard as it is to as there are not a lot of good alternatives on offer. Extremely disappointed with all platforms of this game this year.
