There is a good number of leagues but it would be great if they could add more smaller European leagues especially the polish league

On controller if you press circle on PlayStation controller it will crash your game. If I also press button like auto select formation it will also crash your game on controller. W game but controller is butt

good game but very annoying problems
this game is genuinely perfect until you get to the difficulty and the actual gameplay. first of all, hard mode is way too easy and i decided to try extreme and then the jump to that was like playing first grade recess soccer to playing in laliga. then, the gameplay is literally just tackling. anytime you try to turn or make a move you get brought down to the ground faster than a cheetah running a 2 meter run. please just make the difficulty jump more fair

A Game Worth Suing
Apple Arcade's Retro Goal+ is a total joke that is run super poorly. The gameplay is basically broken with clunky controls, unfair computer defenders, and "chance missed" pop-ups that happen for no reason. Plus, getting enough credits to build a good team is ridiculously hard.Like, I literally try to defend but my players just stand there and watch the other team score. It makes me so mad because it feels like the whole game is scripted so you lose unless you use real money or grind forever. The Apple Arcade version is supposed to have everything unlocked, but the app freezes and lags all the time anyway. Honestly, they need to fix these bugs fast or just delete the game because it's such a waste of time.
Simulation feature please!
Retro Goal+ is a great game overall—the concept, the feelings, the emotions—don’t get me wrong. But I have 2 requests. Improve the overall ability of the goalkeepers. Sometimes, the user shoots a totally save-able shot, and the keeper completely fails to put a glove on it. Add a simulation feature that allows users to skip matches to shorten gameplay like Retro Bowl. A big reason that I request this to be added is because when you take charge of a new team, you start with minimal resources, reset facilities, but the same amount of credits. Using Retro Bowl as a comparison, you can simulate regular season games so you can skip straight to the playoffs or the offseason. As a result of simulating to the offseason, you don’t have to wait long before you can sign amazing players and ultimately upgrade your team. This is a joy that Retro Goal+ players miss out on.
Unfair
Game is unbalanced especially when you’re competing in a higher league, I transferred from a MLS team to Arsenal and started off with terrible stats, couldn’t get any wins and the other teams swept through my defense, don’t waste your time with this. The reason I added two stars is because minus all of that it’s actually fun to play when you have a decent team.

I realize we havent made it the last 3 world cups, but come on I wanted to play as Italy in the global championship. You have the clubs why not the national team

One thing I don’t like (or don’t understand at least) is that the contracts will say “Y14” or something and it will run out next season. Is that because the Y# is the number of years the save will be when it expires? Because if that’s the case, that makes sense then. But I’m more used to American football and retro bowl which have it as years remaining. Otherwise great! And the contract thing is a skill issue on my end. Please add Norway and African nations! That would be awesome! Thanks!
Mismanaged
This game is the absolute opposite of Retro Bowl 26, it’s not even funny. I’ve read the reviews and just didn’t believe them. There’s no way a game can just be so poorly mismanaged and designed… right? Nope. This game is literally the worst example of a sport represented in a mobile game. The “defense” and “simming” is so poor and comedic, when you DONT score you literally KNOW the other team will score. Literally dropping 600 or even 1000+ coins on a good D man or Goalie is a waste if more often than not the other team just scores on you! DONT PLAY THIS GARBAGE
Weird bug, deleting career.
So there’s an unfortunate thing happening in the game. When you have retiring players, it doesn’t allow you to extend their contracts to the end of the season so they just retire mid season. I would like to ask the devs at NSG to do either of these: 1. Let players take back their retirement decision for more money, like Retro Bowl 2. Add final contracts that expire at the end of a player’s retiring season Much love and consideration, everything else is great except the fact that there is no new international mode for the World Cup in June. Controls are horrible
The pull controls are horrible, quick passes work 30% of the time. They need to change to a pull controls or add controls on the screen because anything on the edge of the screen is impossible on an phone

Literally so bad… why? One-you can’t even PLAY DEFENSE! Two-They call it simple team management but NO. If you want live your life to the fullest, I don’t recommend wasting your time on this…
Keepers could be better but very good game
I kind of hate how the keeper will jump straight up for the ball and never block it like i think a defender can head it better than the keeper can block it like if you just position the header spot right on the keeper you score everytime and also everyone complaining about game being hard have serious skill issue like i play on extreme and fond it too easy some times
Fun and infuriating
I do enjoy playing this except good luck trying to win half the games. Score 3 goals and the cpu will score 4. Pretty much every one of my last 20 matches the cpu scored and then its match over with out a chance to try to catch up. And you’re not controlling the goal keeper so it’s not like you have any impact on if it scores or not.
Chance missed
Retro Goal+ has a great retro style and a fun concept, but the gameplay can be really frustrating. A lot of the time it feels like you’re not even allowed to defend — opponents cut through your team too easily and your defenders feel useless. On top of that, the constant “chance missed” moments make it feel unfair, especially when you do everything right. Instead of feeling challenging, it often feels scripted. Very annoying and takes away from what could be a great game.
Scratches the EAFC itch 🤙🏻
As a long time FIFA gamer, this app is a go to for me. Great game to have on hand for any occasion where you need to kill 5-10 minutes. I do have a two suggestions/requests. There are so many people who would love to see an official explanation of staff trait effects. I also would love to be able to see my bench player stats easier when I click them instead of having to click the bench, click a player, then close the bench to see the stats and so on when comparing who I want to start. Otherwise the app is fantastic in my opinion. Thank you for your work. ( ͡° > ͡°)ゞ

Game is fixed
The game is extremely rigged, when I win a certain amount of games, the ball somehow arcs it lower, and the defense is somehow better. It seems to always make a draw or lose outcome, intentionally trying to downfall players. Constantly unfair soccer is constantly played, and many reviewers have sounded out on this unfixed problem that seems to ruin the game with an unrealistic outcome trying to cut win streaks and avoid “game is too easy” outcomes. You can’t rig a game and expect good reviews. You don’t see too many games with under a 3.7 star review.
Just a touch
I love it because it’s so under shadowed from retro bowl. But the game needs a touch up Like an exhibition game (a friendly) where you can pair 2 teams up and a custom mode where you can chose you players. But to conclude this message its a pretty good game
Game is consistently unfair
This may seem like I’m just bad at the game but this is not a fair game, every one of my matches is entirely luck based. I play on hard mode with a bad team because otherwise scoring would be too easy and not fun anymore. The issue is I can play perfect offense score a goal at every chance the game gives me but I rarely win because the enemy team can score 3 goals in a row and take up 80% of the games time, leaving me no opportunity to even play. Essentially hard mode is just hoping you get good luck. Actual gameplay is fun but that does nothing to get rid of the issue I mentioned of every game depends on your luck. Please just make hard mode fair and not luck based

Great game but wish you could change players names and Portsmouth fans would agree with this but the game doesn’t have Portsmouth which is disappointing
It’s ok, but pretty addicting at first
Why does the other team score every time I score? That gets tiresome so quickly when you’re not given the option to defend. And sometimes the other team will score multiple goals without giving me a single opportunity. Feels weird

Ok so this game is good, not great but good. The reason for this is right when you start your first match they put you against a team that is hundred times better than you! Also is not really addictive. If you want to play a retro sports game, just play retro bowl or something like that, I don’t recommend this game at all.

Ok this game needs improvement here are my ideas. .edit teams .edit players names .DRAFT (America only) .expand the leagues (the players only) .top teams go in to the playoffs (1-8 in the MLS (American league)) .the option to start a league with new teams .the option to start a league That was all I had to say other than… .updated controls (it is to easy) .SIM GAMES Also the game is good however if you put this into the game it would be a lot better and also update it every year it is 2025 and last time it was updated was for the 23 season
Bad design
You never have enough coin to resign any players. The reward to cost ratio is terrible. It’s like they never played the game and just randomly threw some numbers in there. Don’t recommend. Not fun.
Pretty good but a few suggestions
Overall I really enjoy the game but I have a few suggestions: 1. Quick substitutions: during a game if a player is really tired it should display on option to sub them of with just one click of a button. 2. Updating the jerseys: I know it’s a lot to ask for but changing the jerseys every season to be similar to the irl jerseys would be nice or at least a customization option for the + version. Also 3rd kits would be nice, also if it is an away game it should automatically select the away kit or maybe the home kit if the away kit is too similar to the other teams home kit. Captains, little trophy lift kind of things after winning a trophy or even the other team beating you, and more in depth tactics would be nice as well. Thank you.
Lack of defense makes it frustrating
Similar to retro bowl you don’t get to play, or have much control at all, over the defense. It means that the game just decides that you lose when your opponent gets the ball and you can’t do anything but watch the goals pile up. Ultimately the gameplay loop here is the same. It’s either very easy or frustrating difficult but completely out of your control.
Really fun but some glaring issues
1. WHY DO I PLAY 34 WEEKS JUST TO BE FORCED TO SIM THE PLAYOFFS? Infuriating. 2. Controls are a bit bad.

Good but punishes you for switching teams
I’ve enjoyed the game a lot so far but I’m not sure why when I went from Sunderland to Liverpool I’m now stuck with worse players and staff and club stats. Surely if I get the job offer from a Tier 1 Club they should be a tier 1 club not worse than what I’ve come from.
The Ai is very bad
This game is very entertaining and enjoyable but one problem is that the Ai is broken. You could be up 2-0 against the opposing team but when as soon as the ‘simulation’ mode happens it could all of a sudden be 2-3 and now your losing in the 90th minutes and there is literally nothing you can do.
makes no sense
this game genuinely has so many issues. the bots don’t do anything and run away from the ball. the players are so slow even if they have maxed out speed. the players move further offside rather than moving onside, and if you have a bad defense then you’ll barely play. the training facilities don’t have any type of impact on the actual game. after a while the game gets boring after you do the same thing over and over again. i think they should improve the bots and should add more options and maybe more countries. also there are certain features available on the world champion mode but not the career mode. i feel like this game could be improved on. i still give it 3 stars because it is fun, but needs new features, teams, and options.
