What people like
- Design looks really clean and professional.
- Playback controls are smooth and easy.
- Offline mode works perfectly for listening.
- Great for listening to your own Plex library.
What they complain about
- Syncing progress between devices is broken.
- Apple Watch app feels buggy and slow.
- Downloaded books often fail to play.
- Family sharing subscription payments do not work.
Love to use it for al my audiobooks.
I really enjoy using Prologue! It shows my collection so nicely and is super easy to work with. The core playback controls are fantastic—seamlessly adjusting playback speed (faster or slower), using the sleep timer, and keeping clear track of what I’ve finished versus what's left. Since there is currently no way to rate or favorite books directly in the app, I’d love to see a rating system added in a future update! It would be awesome to have a custom rating scale or fun tags like "Favorites", "Cheeky", "Fun", "Bored", or even "Couldn't last a chapter" to sort the masterpieces from the disappointing ones.
Devastating update
Doesn’t work via relay, doesn’t play downloaded books.
Near perfect
Perfect for audiobooks on the premium subscription: all needed features, controls and widgets. Still missing and hope they’ll add it in the near future: Audiobookshelf podcast libraries and being able to have/add 2 server records for 1 server/ABS root account (local address to my NAS when on LAN and Tailscale address when off of my LAN)
Nice app and AB shelf update.
Currently the app doesn't show the Watch iap. Could you make it possible to buy the watch iap without having watch activated?
Smurfen zijn blauw
Was wel leuk maar niet heus
Paid family sharing does not work!

It just works
How I listen to all my audiobooks. It works great, intuitive to use and looks nice. Nice tracking as well. Not the first app for audiobooks I’ve tried but I can’t see myself moving away from this one.
Worst app ever ! Don’t download it !
Very bad app. Putting your own library in an app should be easy, but this is undo able. No drag and drop in this app. So people…don’t use this app..!!
Great!
Really the best. Would just wish the top icons are placed in settings. It kind of feels like there are three menu bars. Which is bothering the autist in me :).
works great on all platforms
works great, on phone and apple watch. Great progress tracking and offline mode makes it my go-to app for audiobooks.
Geweldige app
Werkt fantastisch samen met een eigen plex server. Alles wat je nodig hebt om je eigen eigen audioboeken te luisteren op je iphone met alle toeters en bellen. Elke cent waard
Very nice
It’s a very nice app! I would like it even more if the audio fades out when the timer is about to stop and if you could shake your phone if you want to extend te timer.
Best app for audio books
I love the app, I use it daily to listen to my audiobooks. There is one thing I’ve noticed that is a bit annoying. When I resume a book on Plex on my laptop, Prologue resumes from the old location. I would like it to sync the new position from Plex and resume where I’ve left of on the other device.
Very Decent App
Wow the app’s design is definitely top notch! Way to go
Great app!
Thanks for making this app, been using Plesk for years, but never tried audiobooks until I found this app :)
Great app, hoping for future Apple Watch ⌚️ support
What the title says, this app is already super complete, and I won’t skimp on stars. An Apple Watch companion app would really seal the deal for me, to be able to go running without my phone.
