This bike was awesome to ride!
Harsh ride, harsher customer support.
Bound to break your spine on every bump and cobble stone, slow as hell. They love to show incorrect battery life leaving you to push them to the next parking spot and pay again for another. The customer support is infuriatingly slow and unhelpful.

Bad experience
People leave them in unmarked parking spots, when you unlock the bike not knowing someone left it there you get fined and have to spend your time moving it to a registered parking spot to end the ride. Logistically stupid.

The old Vois, and even when this company was Tier wasn't too bad. But I got a short scooter a few of miles yesterday and it cost £7 - uber would've been £9. This same trip used to cost half that on scooters. It's just not worth it any more, costs the same as a taxi
An expensive ride!
Was great to get on a bike and get moving in the sunshine to get home from work…even better to be powered by electric up all those redway slopes! But the ride was more expensive than a taxi! Now I’m all for moving over static but please make the Dott rides more affordable. If you want to encourage people to get moving and using the redways, make your off the cuff bike hire pricing cheaper than a taxi ride home please 🚴♀️

While they’re great when you can get one there’s not enough around Weston high street Bath and Newbridge hill area there used to be loads with the previous provider!

I used to use these dott bikes heavily back in the day. Fun times. Decent prices compared to Lime. They've now pulled out of the UK market, yet this app keeps sending notifications every other about free minutes or something else. But how can i take advantage?? Time to delete now, thanks for the fun.

Faulty scooter- no refund
Your faulty throttle break jammed down and nearly threw me into oncoming traffic in the middle of Rome. Tried to get a full refund and was offered a free ride! Will never use again!

Really simple to use system. Also great support when I couldn’t figure it out! Would be great to have more parking spots in residential areas though
Terrible in colchester
They are not for people who want to go from a to b, they are for people who want to go fr bad parking area outside of town to miles away somewhere else. Not sure if it is the council regulation or them. But terrible service with a bad app.

Bike was faulty. Handle bars completely bend. Hard to manoeuvre. Only got a BOT for help. 7€ for 10 min cycle. Really a robbery. Will rather walk or use other options.

An sich ist die App eine sehr gute Idee und es klappt auch doch ich finde es unverschämt, dass die Karte unverständlich ist. Ich habe mir einen Scooter geliehen. Wollte den benutzen, dann auf einmal fährt er nicht mehr. Da es keine Zone. Ist wo man so welche E Scooter fahren kann. Und das sollte man verständlicher auf der Karte zeigen man konnte es nämlich nicht erkennen.

Issues with Parking (as always)
Let the bike parked alongside another scooter and bike then got an email saying it was obstructing the pavement…it wasn’t
Poor phone holder and quality, but have signals
My phone fell twice, and the road wasn’t even that bumpy. So the phone holder, the acceleration, and overall the quality of the bike was by far far worse than Lime. I regret purchasing the monthly pass. Edit: despite a very negative for depression, I noticed they have blinkers, which is great and lime doesn’t have it. Also the monthly subscription fee that reduces the for every ride is very reasonable and fair

Freezes and Roundup Scam
Go 1 second over and you are charged for a whole additional minute. This happened to me when the app froze on the parking photo part of ending the ride. Once you have clicked end ride the timer should pause for the photo stage! You should charge by the second or round down. Charging by the minute around Bristol clearly encourages reckless riding too.

When you are trying to end a ride, the map doesn’t show the parking spots. It expects you to park in a parking spot but once in an active ride, the map disappears and all it tells you is whether you can park there or not.

Avoid, other Apps work much better. Picked a scooter up at the train station, it didn’t start, just displayed 14E. When I tried to park it again, I was told it was not possible and had to take the scooter to a parking area. I then had to drag the unresponsive scooter several hundred meters before I was able to park it. To make things even worse I was then charged for 3 minutes of using the scooter. Will be deleting the App.

i got scammed they said it was £1 to unlock the bike and it turns out they took £2 out my bank that means I can’t pay for the ride as they’ve took too much out of my bank.

use lime. don’t use this app if you’re visiting for a short period
took my money for a pass but then proceeds to reject the next 5 different cards we try to put on the app to pay for it. couldn’t get any card to work, all with money and no blocks. took my money so now i can’t get it back before i leave because i’ve spent over an hour on this terrible bike app. use lime if you have used that before and don’t even try with this horrible scammy system.
First Time
Cheaper than an uber, quicker than the bus… frustrations being that there were no go areas where a cycle path was clearly marked… made no sense.
Dott perfection
So good! The new blue ones are totally solid and reliable and range is great. Feel much safer on these than previous model. I will be trying the pre pay package with £1 rides as I love the other side of town. We can get to cribs now as well apparently. Cheers.
Not a great service
Battery drained quickly and incurred extra charges when I needed to park and find another bike. Unrideable with no power. The bikes also cut out several times mid-ride for no reason at all. Obviously very dangerous. And to top it off it seems like I was charged extra for parking the bike in the correct parking zone. Makes no sense. Avoid if you can

Using iPhone 13 Pro. Some credit cards don’t work. QR scanner doesn’t focus on the code no matter what you do. credit card scanner doesn’t read so manual input is the only way. Scooters are great. The phone holder on scooters are very good and strong.
