Broken and dead bikes = waste of money
Serious issues with the bike roll out in my city. Every other bike that I check out does not have a functioning seat post, and as an adult over 5’ tall, this means I have no leverage while riding and makes it extremely uncomfortable and dangerous to ride the bikes. There are insufficient numbers of functioning bikes for the subscription model on offer (I see many bikes on the map with dead batteries, and many that are available are nearly dead). The fact that the app suggests that the subscription price will increase to over 60 euro /month for 400 minutes is a joke in light of all these issues. By comparison, a lime subscription is about 34 euro for 400 minutes /30 days, and I can actually exhaust these minutes. I deeply regret signing up for a month subscription of Pony- I was unable to use up the minutes I would normally have no issue using, due to vast numbers of broken bikes and dead batteries. I would really appreciate if pony would compensate me for this waste of money. Their service does not deliver.

Bonjour, Les écrans des tarifs s’affichent partiellement sur écran d’un iPhone 13. Impossible de voir tout le texte ni de scroller => je ne peux pas acheter d’abonnement car je ne peux pas lire les conditions. Merci de corriger et rendre votre application responsive all device. Cdt

Très pratique sur le papier
On peut se dire que c’est tes pratique, mais l’application bug beaucoup. Certains pony ne se débloquent pas et on nous prélève quand même, je l’ai signalé et aucun remboursement ! Puis un soir, mon trajet ne voulais pas s’arrêter car l’application restée en chargement, j’ai donc été prélevé 7€ alors que je ne roulais pas et que mon trajet m’avait coûté 3€… Et aucun remboursement aussi !

Great fun, could do with more bikes and some parking fields are not properly recognised. Two rides have resulted in now further power towards end of two short journeys.

Can’t unlock bikes, lock them, or get anyone to help in customer service. Don’t use this.

Good system, problems with bike maintenance and app
It’s really great that this system exists. It’s a great option for getting around the area. There’s decent availability of bikes throughout the network. However, many of the bikes are poorly maintained, from unresponsive electric motors, to inconsistent shifting. Worse yet, I rode a bike with the freewheel installed backwards, which literally caused to bike to self-accelerate itself as the pedals turned forward as the bike rolled forward, leading to a feedback loop of acceleration. It was very dangerous and could have led to a serious accident. In all of the instances of a dysfunctional bike that I had to return without riding there was no refund provided. Many systems will do this as a courtesy. Lastly, the app should show the battery level after scanning the qr code on the bike before unlocking so that you can avoid unlocking a bike with a depleted battery. Simple fix to the design.

First time
All went well renting my first Pony. Easy to get going with the App despite being an oldie. Pleasant ride along the sea front in Nice. Definitely do it more often.

We used pony in Bordeaux to see the riverside and the marina, which we wouldn’t have done on foot. Great fun and very easy to use the app and the bike - was €23 for about 70 mins
the worst of all scooter
worst scooter app ever. I parked the scooter in front of my home. it is still there but they charged me 5€ because of wrong parking? I hate when company uses third party payment system and just decide to take money out of your cards without any rules! never again

Points forts par rapport aux concurrents : possibilité de faire un trajet en groupe payer par une seule personne; limitations de vitesse cohérente. Points négatifs: équipements souvent dans un état moyen; pas de clignotant; service indisponible dans toutes les villes; montant de garantie trop important.
Des problèmes à répétition très décevant
Très déçu de l’expérience Pony ces derniers jours. J’ai rencontré plusieurs problèmes avec l’application et les vélos, notamment avec un vélo qui apparaissait comme déverrouillé alors qu’il ne l’était pas réellement. Impossible de l’utiliser, et l’application me demandait de contacter l’assistance. Le problème ne s’est pas arrêté là : impossible de terminer correctement le trajet, de le mettre en pause ou de réessayer à cause de messages d’erreur. Au final, mon Pass n’a pas pu être utilisé correctement et j’ai dû payer un deuxième trajet pour pouvoir arriver à destination. J’avais pourtant payé un Pass à 5 € justement pour éviter ce genre de problème. J’ai contacté l’assistance afin de demander le remboursement des trajets concernés, mais c’est vraiment dommage de devoir perdre du temps et payer davantage à cause de problèmes techniques qui ne viennent pas de l’utilisateur. J’espère que ces problèmes seront rapidement corrigés, car le concept est intéressant, mais l’expérience actuelle est franchement décevante.

Les trottinettes tardent à être rechargées et sont souvent sales. Quelques déboires qui ont mis du temps à se résoudre.

Not as good as other apps
It shows bikes that are not there. Bikes I come across do not appear. The app crashes and leaves the rise still running mid ride or randomly decides after a photo is submitted the rise is not over. The bikes look better but are lower quality than other providers ( who also charge less). Customer Service do not respond to any of the issues raised.

Awful experience
This app has caused me immense amounts of trouble. It doesn’t pick up when a bike is locked, many bikes don’t show up on the map, the majority of bikes are in complete disarray. Go for mobike instead!

C’est un super système aucun doute, mais dans une ville en travaux comme la mienne, l’aller retour de 20 minutes coûte très facilement plus de 7€, sans parler de l’entretien souvent médiocre des vélos, ou de leur batterie peu chargée. Avec un prix moins dérisoire ce serait vraiment t top

Unreliable and ZERO support
This is the second attempt at using pony. The first time the app would let me click on a bike and the second time the bike wouldn’t unlock. No idea what to do if the bike doesn’t unlock so just ended my ride. I don’t want to think the problems you would face if the bike wouldn’t lock at the end of your journey. With so many other companies in Oxford I will use a different one. Pony is not worth the unreliability.
No enough bikes
Les vélos sont sympas mais ils ne fonctionnent souvent pas ou n’ont pas de batterie. Bref c’est trop difficile de en trouver un quand on en besoin.

Amazing service and great idea.
I’ve used Pony in Angers and Bordeaux, with flawless execution. The idea of having locals own the scooters and bikes is revolutionary, there is an added sense of community and desire to take care of someone’s bike.
Yet to refund deposit.....
They take a £19 deposit, it wasn’t automatically refunded and they have not replied to my query. There are few methods of contacting them - only raising a ticket through the app. Feeling pretty cheesed off.
Rarely works well
Whilst the concept is great, there have been numerous occasions where pony bikes are damaged or can't be used. There have also been many faults with the app, where it won't recognise that's the bike has been locked, therefore charging more. The most frustrating thing is being unable to contact them in the event of an issue, with the 'contact number' unrecognisable.

Says you can’t park anywhere, but then lets you swip to say ‘end ride’

This app is the best! I have tried Ofo and mobike in oxford but they are often broken but pony bikes, there bikes in oxford are not broken and brand new!
What’s the point.
I don’t want yet another app for yet another useless service which has strings attached all over the place. Why is the app 60+ MB? Why is there a £19 security deposit other apps don’t require this? Spent as much time trying to download this app and working out what to do, would have been quicker and cheaper to take the bus.
Bikes never work
Used it extensively in the first week of uni (early October) and it worked fantastically. Ever since then, everytime I go on a ride- either the cycle doesn’t unlock and I’m still charged, or the bike is broken, or the seat comes off. What’s even more annoying is that there is nowhere to complain in app or a basic link that says “bike is broken” or something so that it can be reported right away. Very disappointed
Good but could do better
The app is straight forward to use but there are a lot of bugs. Sometimes the lock doesn't open, sometimes it doesn't register me locking it and despite me dropping the pin in the right place when I finish, it quite often doesn't register it and goes back to somewhere I stopped at a traffic light. The bikes themselves are ok on the whole but quite a few have bent wheels so are a bit wobbly.
Brilliant
The bikes are much lighter than any other rental bikes I’ve tried, app works great and price is super fair, got a 30 days plan for £5!
New version still have some bugs on BT

Too many faults
A great concept, and has proved helpful on a few occasions but too many issues with both the software and the bikes themselves. I've missed trains due to the problems they've caused. The bikes aren't great themselves but that's understandable for what they are. Could be great but needs more work. I've found Ofo works better.
