I wouldn’t even waste your time on this thing. It is so rigged. The dice rolls are so rigged. It’s not even funny. It’s actually a joke. Whoever wrote the software is a joke.

Unfair doubles
The doubling ruins fair games. Every time I trap an opponent they roll doubles. Please repair this problem. Never make a negative comment against this game because they will absolutely kill your dice rolls. Let’s be fair about this. Please let us know if you must make online purchases The dice rolls are constantly unfair.

Doubling
There should be a limit on when you can double an opponent. I’ve played games with people who will double me when they have one marker left on the board!
Loaded dice
The developer even admits that their game is balanced so you will lose at a rate to keep it fair for everyone. The dice are unbelievably loaded at times. I’ve seen 6 and more doubles rolled in one game. Some squares on the board are never safe to leave a single. Especially the six spot. Most rolls insure safe harbor. And this just isn’t most of the time, it is almost all of the time. Then when you write a bad review, the game gets worse!!! They also admit that they can keep the game balanced! What does that mean? I think it means that they can increase their bank balance!

Nice graphics. Unfair gameplay
Extremely NON random dice rolls. How often in real life do you roll 6 doubles in a roll? With this game you can do that seemingly every game. The game logic adds more double rolls towards the games end. When asked about the loaded dice and predictability of the rolls. The developers mention the game is designed to be exciting.
Backgammon as a strategy game
I love this game because it teach strategy and tactic that l need for my life ; so I thanks a lot for this aporthonity
Bots win most of the time
I’ve been playing this game for about a year and at first, I really liked it because the mechanics of the game are great. The biggest problem I have is that you play bots about half the time and they have them programmed to win almost every time. I’ve also noticed that when I start losing, I can’t get a decent roll to save my life. It would be much more enjoyable to play if the dice were random as they should be.

I played many backgammon games, and this is the winner. Beautiful graphics, smart and easy gameplay, little advertising, and it's short, and you're not inundated with it. The creators put a lot of time into making this game. It's just great!!!

And don’t hit me with your auto response about it being fair RNG. It is clearly not. The most ridiculous rolls in which it’s the ONLY roll that the opponent needs. Over and over and over. Not random. Muck all the way off with this garbage.
Dice are ‘Fixed’
Once you progress beyond level 20 your dice are TERRIBLE and your opponent will have incredible luck with the dice. It’s all about money with these a-holes lol!
Unoriginal unnecessary format
Don’t know why almost every mobile backgammon game thinks it’s fun to enforce a turn time limit when playing against a computer opponent.

Loaded dice
This game is enjoyable. But you must be aware that the dice are not random in any way shape or form. After playing many games (many-in the ‘several thousand’ range) you can pick up patterns in the rolls of the dice. Don’t forget, these games are in the business of making you try to spend money in any way. All that being said, it is still a fun one on one game with your opponents, but please be aware the dice are definitely not random. If the program decides that you are not to win, you will not win.

Dice Rolls Are Not Random
Apparently, I am psychic because I can predict the dice rolls a great deal of the time.
One of the better apps but still rigged.
Dice rolls are not random. I have just played nine games in a row and didn’t win the starting roll once. Opposition players recover from heavy loss situations by rolling multiple doubles. I have come to the conclusion there are no fair backgammon apps. My records indicate I won 25% of my games however I’m a good standard tournament player with a 58%+ win ratio. How can I be so bad unless the dice are rigged

Good game but...
First off, I think this is a great game, as someone who hasn’t played backgammon before, the competition and the games I’ve had have been great fun. It’s great when you find some with whom you have a close game again and again. I spend £1.79 on 250k coins which would give me at least 100k games. There are times when you can get into a competition with someone at the same level as you, and it’s really close and great fun to play. Sadly there’s no way to ‘favourite’ players to play them again, or converse after a game. Those have been great. That said, however, it can be frustrating that high rank experts play in the same ‘rooms’ as those just starting off. It would be really good if, when you reach a certain level, you can’t go into the beginners room. Fine, if you want to just played for 1000 coins but keep the experts out of the room where it’s beginners. Otherwise, it’s just a bit pointless because you get beaten, and it’s usually by someone who feels the need to play and undo their final chip. You beat a beginner, and you feel the need to show off, well done big man 🤣. Also as others have mentioned if the dice can roll against you, they usually will and turn the game around. There are also connection problem and glitches, and when you a going to beat someone with a gammon, they can leave the game without any penalty. Good gameplay, and a few tweaks and it would be awesome.

Great game for sure. Downside is the game is definitely rigged to generate more cash from your wallets. It often rolls the opponents dice to fit what you leave open thus taking you out. It would be fantastic if it was completely random rolls. But they need money, so it’s rigged to suit.
People who let the clock run down
There are a few (well quite a few) players who let the clock run down when they are in potential gammon or even backgammon situations. The worse that happens is that lose a game irrespective where their pieces are. Please stop this they let the clock run down they should be scored as to where their pieces are.

All those bad reviews claiming this is a scam, what a bunch of crybabies! Spent money then lost and now cry. There is no requirement to buy anything. You can play completely for free! I have played the other backgammon games and Backgammon King has the most polished interface.

If you don’t buy anything the dice will not be fair. I’m calling dice rolls against me before they happen. To be fair, there are no true random Backgammon games in the App Store.
