Fixed games
You are playing a computer. Totally rigged.
Long time player
One of my favorites but will no longer load. Again. Bug. Again. It won’t open on my iPhone.
The doubling pop up, when the opponent clicks it, unnecessary obscures the middle of the screen.
The doubling pop up, when the opponent clicks it, unnecessary obscures the middle of the screen. I cannot assess the risk, or the balances of pips needed. You could find a way to view behind the pop up. PS. It is not optimal, it is a huge negative on our game experiences
Game not working
Something’s gone wrong with the game. New games won’t start, it can’t find anyone to play with
I found a backgammon app with fair dice rolls!!!
It's called "Backgammon for iphone and ipad." Graphics aren't the best, but the rolls are fair!
Game reactive
This game is set up to react not to be random
Love this game.
I play it everyday.
Great when it works but likes to misbehave!
Occasionally likes to lock my iPad, force restart required while making me forfeit my bet! On my turn the dice never showed, then it timend out and took my credits. There are better Games out there.
Flawed, yet still better than the other
There are so many annoying issues with this app that I can’t list them all! The worst is it cheats, for some reason (why would they do that ?)! You can see it when trying to come in off the bar. It will shut you out so many rolls in a row that if you do the math you see the odds of that are millions-to-one. And it does that so often it’s clearly a big or on purpose, and it ruins the game. It’s no fun if you can’t bear in, roll after roll, knowing this literally never happens with real-life dice. Booooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Play gem wish it worked better.
My game won’t load. It didn’t work for about month, then started working for about a week & now it won’t load again
Rolls not random!
This game has the best user interface of any I’ve played. Unfortunately, like all the others, the dice rolls aren’t random. Not even close. Too many perfect rolls for opponents to get out of a jam. I could go on and on. It’s really unfortunate. It’s such a nice looking game.
Is the truth out there?
Who is the board fixure ? We need a whistle blower to come clean about these web backgammon sites, they are not here for free honest games, they are managed to make money !! Any good player can see how the game is manipulated to entice you to spend money, “ there’s no free lunch”
Glitches frustrating
This app had become very glitchy and had cost me lots of chips lost when: 1. It won’t let me move my game piece to a particular space, which would let me hit my opponent or avoid being hit. 2. Today, I signed in and the 2M chips I bought last evening were gone with only 7K left 😡 3. Opponents get 3 doubles in the final moves and i get none during the entire game—is this random or an algorithm to keep users purchasing more chips. Im about to delete this app. Too annoying and a waste of money when these glitches happen repeatedly.
It get tiring that the rolls seem to be ruin a game. Why can’t the roll naturally!
Hopefully it can be fixed!!
Hi!
Verry good This play… fine
Random rolling?
Rolling is totally rigged and not in your favor. In fact, I doubt you are actually playing against other real players. It’s too controlled, and I’ve played hundreds of games, not just a few.
Review
I still do not get all the free chips and you don’t address this issue
Glitches in the game
I have been playing this game for years. It has been my favorite of the online backgammon. For the past year I have been having issues with the game disconnecting from the server. When this happens I automatically loose the game. And depending on the game I can loose up to triple of the bet. I contact support and the reimburse my chips and then it happens again. I express my concern about this continuing to happen and ask if the problem is going to be resolved. I never receive and answer and obviously the problem continues.
Very buggy
But fun to play people around the world
Trust
I have used other apps where the throws are corrupt and deliver a sequence utterly defying statistics. Hope this one is clean
Bonuses not paid
When you reach a new level , you are supposed to receive a bonus with no action required from the player. These bonuses are consistently not paid and customer support appears nonexistent.
Nice
Entrainment
Been playing for years…
but I have to say, this version of backgammon is getting more and more frustrating to play. I find it strange that I can predict what the other player is going to roll in order to beat me, and then they roll it. Strange……..
Good but can be much better
I don’t know why there is no backgammon app like chess.com. An app where we can interact with friends and other players, gain ratings, analyse our games. Still, this is a good app when I compare with other backgammon apps, I enjoy it. But I don’t like the gambling approach to backgammon. Finally, things which could be improved easily are, adding chat option, enable friend list, and finally please stop cutting 10% from each win.
The best
Hu the best
Unbelievably Dishonest
DON’T EVER BUY CHIPS! Totally dishonest. Rolls are absolutely rigged. But they HAVE to be to ever make any money. Decent players… just average, would never need to buy chips so they wouldn’t make money. Almost entertaining to see the game always roll just what it needs to hit you. Also, keep track of how many 1-2 rolls you get vs the game. Statistically impossible. Finally, all the avatar photos of opponents. So few real pics. I never pay so I don’t get ripped off. You shouldn’t either.
OK
SOMETIMES FREEZES
Disappointed
I really enjoy playing backgammon on this application when it works. It has been down for over a month now - I have reached out to the company with no response - I have had this game for years and it is the best when working - FIX IT!!! I miss playing.
Great game!
Love it but the game lags quite a bit and I’ve lost games because of it
Can be sweetly addictive!!! Don’t leave home without it!!
Can be sweetly addictive don’t leave home without it!!
Bogus algorithms
As with most of these online backgammon games, the dice rolls are not random. They all seem to use the same bogus algorithms. This one is heavily biased on the opponents home side of the board. Move any of your chips on this side of the board and your opponent without fail will ALWAYS roll the perfect die to capture your pieces which is statistically improbable. The other issue, where all these games are the same, is the finish. You finally move all your pieces to home area and have an advantage and all of sudden you start rolling a series of low numbers and your opponent starts rolling double high numbers until they either catch up or pass you. Makes the game not fun. Deleting!
Good game
Good game
Don’t pay for the ad free
I paid for the ad-free version, yet I repeatedly cannot sign into my ad-free paid account, instead I am left with an unpaid account version. Good app otherwise, but there are regular sign in issues. If you pay you can still have ads after every game and be unable to access what you paid for.

Backgammon
Best one I’ve ever played online very good
TOTALLY RIGGED & CHEAT!!
This is the By Far Most Rigged Cheat Fixed online game I’ve Ever Experienced! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS GAME, it’s a Total Rip Off! Playgem has opponent Bots that steals your chips, especially after you double! It’s so Obvious they are Rigging these games against games, you cannot win with Playgem Cheating you to lose! I ask Customer service for explanation, you never get a response, Terrible! The Worst Cheat online game ever! Don’t Wate your time!
Very nice
Great version enjoying it
Rigged
Unless you are prepared to spend money on this app, be prepared to be ripped off, as soon as you get a decent amount of chips, you find you will never win a game. In fact, you can actually predict what dice the opponent will throw, I.e, if they need a 2 for example they will get it every time. Don’t bother contacting support either, they don’t care.
Fix bugs!
Been over 2 weeks that I am unable to access game via my iPad as it freezes upon initial downloading and remains frozen at start-up page ad Infinitum. Please fix bugs!
Backgammon
Love love love this game. Pity you cannot talk to the opponent. X
Rigged game
Its one of those. You’re not winning unless you put money in it. Hacked. Dice is in the favor of those that pay. Glitches when you’re winning. Takes coins still.
Great Game
Enjoying this app
Rigged and crashes
Crash crash crash crash crash. Finish your move then it crashes. The clock counts down but the buttons are gone so you lose the game. Also keep getting beaten by statistically almost impossible sequence of throws from opponents. Not a bad loser but know about probabilities and the throws you get are not random.
Good but there are better
Have tried this game extensively. Initially I thought it was very good- there’s always someone to play and it does what it claims. However, I found it quite easy to get onto a high cost table by mistake and ended up losing all my in-game cash, twice. My mistakes but you need to be careful. Have since discovered there are much better alternatives with better features and I’ve deleted this one.
Backgammon
Best graphics on the web...obviously a lot of money spent putting this game together....I do think a “bot” is managing the outcome on various games, but in comparison to other sites, Reasonably fair..🎲🎲😎
Rigged
Definitely rigged dice
Fun
One of the better backgammon apps out there
Fixed
Had read reviews saying it’s fixed so you need to spend money and it’s true. Odds are in favour of those that have spent money, you may win the odd game but majority you will lose, its go to the point I can now predict what the opponents dice will show.
Ads spoil a good game
Good gameplay and layout but having to watch a 30second advert after each game is really frustrating
