Terrible platform. Support takes too long to response and isn’t helpful at all. They reviewed my BTC deposit and just decided that it MAY be a scam and suspend my account! Avoid at all cost!

it works, once they let you in, but customer service is seemingly non-existent? kraken, crypto.com, wealthsimple have treated me far better—newton is simply just too expensive and too slow for the canadian market. time is money.
solved my deposit issue within a couple hours
Support was helpful and friendly. I deposited crypto that never appeared in my account and sorted it out with my transaction ID.

Portfolio Screen doesn’t show your portfolio and I can’t find it anywhere. Wasn’t this terrible in the past.

Best Crypto App for Canadians
I have tried many other platforms for Crypto but due tor regulations by the Canadian Govt, this little app that gets Installed on your phone is my go-to. Withdrawals via Interac and Deposits is the best part. Plus the Newton free SATS (fractions of BTC) that they give out for free is the highlight. Love playing the games and joining a clan for yielding higher BTC mining all through your phone.

Sent me various demands for more money just to release funds of mine . User beware .
No API support
There’s no API support which sucks when it comes to trying to connect to CoinStats or Cointracker or Coinledger. It’s 2025 and these should be basic abilities for an exchange by now.
⚠️FRAUDULENT CRYPTO APP 🚨
Newton Cryptocurrency Trading app has stolen money from me and their answer is: « We refunded you » ! Without ever doing so; these people have been reported to the Canadian AntiFraud Centre of the Royal Canadiam Mounted Police’s Financial Crimes department. Never trust these crooks.

Terrible. No customer service. Constant issues with apps usability. Transfers stop working.
Not Great
If all you want to do is buy and sell crypto at market prices, it’s fine. If you want to buy and sell using Limit orders use another platform. The limit orders NEVER execute, even when market price reaches far beyond the limit prices set.

Always been reliable over the years. Support resolved a deposit as well. Just takes a little bit of time
Do Not Download
These guys have crazy high fees for everything. And the minimums for withdrawal are 300% higher than literally every other app. In fact most don’t even have a withdrawal minimum. Usually just a fee. But not newton they steal large amounts of crypto per transaction. And if you complain they tell you to invest more so you can both make the minimum and pay the outrageous fees. Basically forcing their users to forfeit there money if they don’t wanna add more to get it all out. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS!

Worst Login Experience
Every time basically you will have to go through a long process to log into the app and see your crypto assets
Issue opening app after last update
I can no longer open my Newton app after the last update. It keeps asking me to Accept the Risk Disclosu and then when I do it it shows an error message: Oops consent was already given for this response.
Penny pinchers
Newton charges you the network fee to make a crypto withdrawal but then won’t process the withdrawal immediately (sometimes takes more than 24h). Unacceptable.

Very bad in logging in with iPhone
Very bad in logging in with this app on your iPhone worse app lost thousands of dollar because I was not able to login on time and I didn’t have my laptop with me. It’s only good on the laptop if you use their site otherwise it’s useless using it on a iPhone. so invest with them before using it on your iPhone their system is really bad and there support is also horrible. Total red flag. Thanks
