Sind die alle zu blöd das einzurichten? Bei mir läuft alles wunderbar. Und die anzugebende Server-URL ist halt die (Server) URL über die man das Frontend aufruft. Man wird die Cloud-Software ja schließlich auch irgendwo auf nem Webserver im Netz, auf dem NAS, oder Lokal laufend installiert haben... Ich bin auf jeden Fall voll zufrieden. Dankeschön 😊

I’ve been trying to call and contact them because I have an account that I don’t remember making and as I try calling can get in touch and then when I try emailing you can’t it gets an error message I’ve been trying to cancel this account I have and there’s no way to cancel it at all on the website of the app.

Для iOS 15. Начиная с версии приложения 12, если перевернуть экран в альбом режим а затеммоьратно в портретный, то список файлов смещается и становится не виден. С iOS 16 такой проблемы нет
Funktioniert nicht mit OAuth
Der ownCLoud Server an den die App angeschlossen ist, ist mittels oauth konfiguriert. Ich muss jeden Tag, wenn das iPhone neu gestartet wird, die App neu autorisieren. Das ist lästig. Läuft der Grant nur einen Tag oder ist er nicht Boot resistent? Wenn ich dann Fotos manuell synchronisieren will, kommt oft der Hinweis „invalid Grant“ Nachtrag 11/23 Inzwischen funktioniert die Oauth Autentisierung gar nicht mehr. Fotos werden nicht mehr hochgeladen.

OwnCloud v12 iOS 15.8 when I rotate the screen from portrait to landscape and back, the file list is broken V12 iOS 16 - no bug V11 iOS 15 - no bag Please fix it!
Browser ist oft besser
Zum anschauen von Dateien ist die App ok. Auch der gelegentlich Upload kann klappen. Bei mehreren Dateien habe ich aber fast immer das Problem, dass nur wenige Bilder geladen werden, das Telefon heiß läuft und der Rest der Bilder im Upload fest hängt, ohne dass der je fertig wird. Beim Upload von Dateien (pdf, Bilder) aus dem Browser werden zudem auch immer zwei identische geladen… Das neue GUI fühlt sich auch nicht sehr flüssig an, da die Gesten (vor/zurück) nicht mehr gehen und es keine Überblendungen mehr gibt. Und die Buttons zu weit oben sind. Kurz: ich hab den Eindruck, der Zugriff über den Browser funktioniert oft besser.
Idee gut - Umsetzung verbesserungsbedürftig
Grundsätzlich funktioniert die App schon irgendwie. Allerdings muss ich von Zeit zu Zeit das Konto immer mal wieder löschen und neu einrichten weil die App sich aufhängt. Manchmal gibt es beim Status keine zurück Taste so dass die App gekillt werden muss. Manchmal sind Ordner leer obwohl vorher noch was zu sehen war. Manchmal wird laut Status dieselbe Datei rund 100x runter geladen. Für nicht IT-ler nur sehr bedingt geeignet. Denke wir werden in Bälde auf einen anderen Server / Dienst wechseln um Aufwand zu sparen. Schade eigentlich.

Useless
This app can't do anything. Thankfully I can access my files through a third-party application and upload my pictures because this application doesn't do either. It's always in a "stopped" state for some reason.
fühlt sich an wie eine Beta-Version
Beim normalen Betrieb stosse ich immer wieder auf Fehler, die die Verwendung beeinträchtigen oder komplett verhindern. Die Reaktion auf die Meldung gravierender Fehler dauert Wochen bis teilweise Monate, in denen die Software nicht benutzbar ist. Kostenpflichtige Aktionen funktionieren nicht, auf eine Rückmeldung zu dem Fehler warte ich schon seit mehreren Wochen. Generell hat das Programm die Qualität einer frühen Beta, aber nicht einer Version, die man einem Endbenutzer zumuten kann.

Könnte besser sein
Leider werden Bilder über die App im .HEIC Format hochgeladen und nicht als .jpeg. Lade ich über den Webbrowser hoch, funktioniert es als .jpeg. Zudem kann och über die App keine Links zum Teilen erstellen, es kommt immer CSRF Check failed.
Authentication bug

So far so good
12/13/2020 I noticed a lot of 3 stars. I don’t think this app deserves 3 at all. I have 4 for now and I will update this post later. I am transitioning from Mega Upload to my self-hosting Cloud. The only issue I notice so far was when uploading a 250MB file from my phone to the cloud. It keeps stating “Pending” and didn’t complete the upload and I don’t have a way to stop or cancel. So far, I did the same from my computer to the cloud and worked just fine. Hopefully it can get fix soon if it is a issue reported.
New app is terrible
The new app hardly works and is extremely slow. Most of the time it just shows the spinning loading circle and never displays the files. If you close the app and then reopen it sometimes it will then show the files, but most of the time it’s nearly useless.

Unused potential
This app has a lot of potential to be a replacement to services like google drive, but falls short in a few ways. O Can’t remove failed to sync items from the status panel. This makes it so every time the app opens it always hangs on a few files that will never download. O The local copies are not accessible in the iPad files app. This makes it so that one must first export each individual file to a location in the files app before it can be accessible for other programs to use via their uploading. Additionally I have had issues where if the server was down I would not be able to access my offline files without first closing and reopening the app, because it won’t let you select a user account when it fails to connect to the server. This feature can be accomplished on iOS, because the app BOX has done it. On Android there is an “ocloud for ownCloud” that accomplished this perfectly. Seeing the shift Apple is making on the iPad development this feature would only become more important with time as others start implementing it leaving this app to fall behind.
Works but....
It would be so nice if you guys can make use of the web media access to speed up the view of photos. Right now it takes too long to download each photo when we want to view them. I’m sure you can use the same kind of transfer as with the web interface. Please please please... do it.

As usual, even with redesign it is poor and crashes all the time I try upload photos. No different from other versions.
Pretty good synchronization when not background
Not sure that any synchronization happens (“insant upload?”) until we actively open the app and check on status. Wish list items: > Show size of files on status screen > Show real progress (like 3MB of 12MB uploaded) on status > Allow “hold (until released)” “defer (move to end)” (or maybe a 1-9 [default 5] priority value) on status screen - get important stuff synced first > Make status list items selectable so that clicking on an item will show the picture/video, et cetera. (Would be useful in other views too) > Show thumbnail view on status (and other) screens > Periodic notification that files are not synchronizing > Automatic retrieson some schedule or at some interval
Needs fixing ASAP
My PDF’s will not update like it used to. Now I have to convert every pdf to jpeg in order to update my documents. Not good, please fix. I have a lot of work to redo.
Manches wird besser manches nicht
App liest jetzt aus dem cache, wenn der Server mal hängt. Nach dem letzten Update wieder Fehler behoben und ich bin ganz zu frieden. Hängt jetzt oft beim lesen vom Server, dann muss man ganz raus, oder abmelden und neu anmelden, dann geht es wieder ist aber nervig.

Auto Upload Not Working
I enabled Auto Upload for Photos and Videos but is not working. I bought $2 subscription option as well but Auto Upload is not working. I tried reinstalling the app but Auto Upload is not working. Such a let down by Owncloud.

Great app if it weren’t for this bug
There’s a major bug that prevents me from viewing any of my files even though I can see that the app is connecting to my server. This seems to happen after using it for a while, and the only solution is to reinstall the app, quite frustrating...

BIG PROBLEM!
For everyone that is reading this. Please do not try to have a conflict on files. This app based on my testing has no idea how to handle conflicts. So it will enter this weird state which it keep try to upload the new version, but the server keep rejecting it, and there is no way for you to stop or cancel the uploading process, so you will go into this infinite upload mode. Reboot doesn’t help.
„Folders on top“ missing
I miss the feature to display the folders on top when sorting alphabetically.
Losing features in new release
Disappointing that one of the simplest of utilities - in-app text editor - has been removed in this version. I’ve always been frustrated with self-signed certificate issues and accepted that as forever broken.
Be Careful
Good app, it works a LOT better than the old app. However, be very careful when scrolling as it is far too easy to drag a folder into another one by accident. Either remove the feature or give me an option to disable it, I much prefer using the ellipse menu for moving folders anyway.
