This app no longer works
Previously, I enjoyed using this app to see what devices were connected to my network. Today, the app no longer works and instead serves only to “invite” me to download the new app Telus SmartHome+, or “get more info” which opens a webpage that says “Whoops we’re experiencing technical issues” and doesn’t further explain this change. The device page in the new app does NOT show all my connected devices like this app did. I don’t like being coerced and forced to download a new app under the pretenses of “invitation”.
No Boost WiFi 7 Installation Help
Downloaded this app because I was having trouble installing my Telus Boost WiFi 7. The 7 is not supported in the app’s “Self Install” menu. Waste of my data.

I want to give a shout out to the person who was so helpful, patience and knowledgeable to help me correct the problem I had with my t.v. Reception. I could only use my home channel ctv. All others were without sound and looked they were on fast forward. I forgot his name, but please be so considerate to look it up. My pin 3366, Janine Winter. Too bad it took more than an hour to connect in the first place. Telus should do better and their service is not very people friendly.
Connected devices not showing up
Hi, for some reason I cannot see all the connected devices in my network since the last update of the app, this is just unacceptable as I used it to control my family screen time and now I cannot do that! Also, was good with setting schedules without having to do things manually, fix this issue.

Upgraded to WiFi 7 and it’s worst. No connected devices showing up, restarted NAH and boost few times (yes unplugged). App used to be perfectly working before but now got messed up. Why would perfectly working gets ruined ?
Fixed my problem
They fixed my issue i had with the pause devises feature not working, i am happy with this app again.
All devices are not visible
All previously visible devices and booster were visible but I got signed out and I was not able to use the app after I logged in again. It says no devices are connected or unable to access the information. Fix this!
Word well for what I need it for
I use it to shut down wifi for my kids devices and mine when screen time locks are not enough. Plus it’s a great answer when the family relies on you to be the answer to “why is the internet not working” and I can tell them it’s the person in front of the device that is the issue. There are some things like multiple of the same device showing up in the list of recent devices but generally I’m able to determine what is what quickly and I was able to add a wifi extender very easily. Overall thankful for this app. Would be a bonus if I could control network settings like setting a dedicated 2gz frequency for IOT devices but again happy with it as is.

L’application ne fonctionne plus depuis au moins un an. Le support de Telus m’ont dit qu’il y avait un problème temporaire avec l’application. Quel mauvais service de Telus
Helps control internet usage
Had issues recently (could not unpause a profile), but found deleting the app and redownloading the app fixed the issue. I appreciate being able to assign devices to a profile, so that after my child’s bedtime, each device listed on that profile, are shut down. My partner can still access the internet from their devices, but my child cannot.

Works great, especially when I need to turn off Kids internet on their gadgets.
Totally broken
After the last update it shows zero devices, the speed test is also zeros. Even before it was flaky and slow at best. This needs to reliable software - please get your act together.
Not very useful
Tells you if your network is active and what devices are on it. If you are having any sort of problems expect no help from this app however. It won’t even launch in offline mode if you are having connectivity issues.

App does not work
Recent changes have caused the app to tell you to use their new app. I get to that new app and cannot login or find my WIFI. Recently switched over from Rogers and thinking of going back.
Complicated & Inconsistent app performance
Unreliable for managing parental controls. App Not user friendly. At times greys out options or parental controls and recurring unknown errors. Shaw app was way better.

Glitch?
Have had for half a year. Worked great until about 2 weeks ago. Now it only shows 3 devices and there are at least a dozen still connected. But some are paused and I can’t see them to unpause. Telus support isn’t available for 3 more weeks for a scheduled virtual support

This app was decent before. Now recently it’s stopped working. For the last couple days all it does is say “Oops, sorry there was an unexpected error” everytime I try and login.
