Fun little game
I like it when I need a break
Fun, but seemingly neglected
I enjoy this a lot, they’re good puzzles, and I’ve done every one that been put out. But I haven’t seen a new one in years maybe? The dailies are repeats, as far as I can tell, and new packs haven’t been offered in a long time. And is now asking for a review after every game, despite me giving them recently.
Elegant little game
Love that this game is quick and not cluttered with garbage and ads.
Ruined a great game
The addition of ads (and long ads) after every little game has ruined what was one of my favorite apps.

Would give it 5 stars if you add a way to scramble the letters. Also wish you’d provide the answers the next day.

Fun & Challenging
I like this app; it plays like a crossword puzzle where you choose combinations of letters to fill in the correct word from the clues given. And most of them time I don’t even mind the ads, considering it’s a free game. However, they have started running ads for gun sales, which seems terribly inappropriate for this medium, as it’s available for anyone at any age. It’s very disappointing considering the number of innocent people being murdered every day, and I’m playing this to try to get mind off the bad news. There are plenty of other companies that will pay to run ads on your app. Update: I haven’t seen any gun ads lately, which is really nice. The one big thing I wish they would change is to be able to I’ve the letters around on the field below the puzzle.
Change in difficulty with no hints
Since the change in hints, the puzzles are more difficult and frustrating. I will never buy hints. I really enjoyed this game in the past and rarely used hints. Now most puzzles are unsolvable without hints. Most people I know feel the same way and have simply stopped playing.

Free Daily Puzzles stopped working
I have played the Tiny Little Crosswords free daily puzzle for longer than I can remember. On February 18, 2025, the free daily puzzle did not open. I was even more disappointed when on February 19, 2025, neither the puzzle for the 18th nor the one for the 19th would open. I hope it’s not discontinued because this was one of the few puzzle games I enjoyed. The low rating is because this is going to cause me to break my streak.
Tap to Place Letters
Like the game a lot. It’s a nice twist on mini crossword puzzles. They’re clever and just challenging enough without being overly complicated, which keeps them interesting and fun to solve. The only drawback for me is that you have to drag the letters into place instead of tapping to place them, like you can to remove them. It can be frustrating when playing on a small screen like your phone where it’s easy to place letters into the wrong spot, which often times results in bumping other letters out of place. Making this an option in settings would be great. Other than that, it is a really good game.
Too much American content
I really like the concept of this game but there is so much American content it is really irritating – to the point where I probably will delete the game! Some of them I figure out through a process of elimination and by using a lot of hints (lucky they are unlimited). And even when I’ve solved it, I still have no clue what some of the answers mean! Products? Game shows? Tv personalities never heard of in Australia?
Flatters to deceive
I enjoyed the quirkiness of this to begin with. More recently it has become very orientated towards American culture and spelling, as a result if which I’m deleting the app. It’s such a waste of time if you don’t have “local” knowledge

It would be helpful to get one clue per game to help with difficulty in understanding what direction the game is going.

My husband and I love this game, competing to complete them without using hints. Four stars because there is not an avenue to “earn” hints rather than paying for them.
Tiny crosswords
After waiting eagerly for this,l am quite disappointed. The letters are rather hard to place in the squares and the clues are too obtuse. Good job free hints.

This game does not work at all with voiceover like seven little words does. If you can fix this, I might be able to enjoy this game, and give a better review.
Clever
Most puzzles make you think because the clues can often be interpreted in different ways. The only negative thing is that you never see the answers to an unsolved problem. Quite annoying at times

I’ve played this game for several years. I like that it provides a good challenge, but it doesn’t take forever. I’m consistently impressed with the puzzle creators’ creative category ideas.

Apparently you’ve given me a finite number of free hints. When I run out of them , will you want money for more? If so, I’m done. I really enjoy this game but I’m not giving you any money.
Almost Perfect
I play this app every day and haven’t missed completing a daily puzzle since the app was just released. I enjoy it very much. That said, I’d give it 5/5 stars, but am still salty that they took a free hint feature and abruptly started charging for it, which I found particularly tasteless and discourteous. Great puzzles otherwise.
Free Daily Puzzles
Free Daily Puzzles stopped working march 16th, the update seemed to not have fixed it. I entered in one of the Start Here puzzles and when I came back to the Free Daily Puzzles they were working again
