Bonza planet word and picture puzzles
An excellent distraction while sitting in the hospital emergency room while they test me for toxins, etc.
Will Not Open
This app is apparently compatible with my phone (iPhone running 15.8.3), but the app will not open. I’m very unhappy about this since it was working fine until a recent update.
Showcase pack
Good variety of subjects.
U.s. Capitals
HELENA is the capital of Montane —- not BUTTE
Ruined by latest update
Was a good brain teaser, but now just riddled with google ads, begging store and ads. Deleting
Great find
I found this to be very addictive. PS it does work on my MacBook air M4.
Ads are out of control
I’ve been playing Bonza Planet almost daily since it first launched. I usually don’t mind watching a short ad if I need a hint to help solve a puzzle. However, I’m getting tired of having to watch 30 second ads that require multiple clicks to return to the game. Recently, I’ve started to be shown ads that hijack the app and cannot be dismissed forcing me to quit and restart the app. The ad experience significantly detracts from the app making Bonza Planet a chore rather than a pleasure. As a result, if an ad is longer that 10-15 seconds, I will quit Bonza Planet and play a different puzzle app that provides a more enjoyable user experience.
Actually 4.5 Stars
I am really enjoying this game. Makes me think. My only disappointment is that I have Bonza and Bonza Planet and have found some duplicate puzzles. Other than that, I love the game. Some puzzles are very easy but most take some effort.
Ads too long and too frequent
I spend more time looking at ads for things I don’t want than I spend playing.
Good fun
Good game but lately it’s been taking a long time to load. I have had to leave and come back later. Nothing else slow at the same time. Any ideas? Still happening only worse. Any progress?
Only playing jigsaw
I want jigsaw daily! You have the best jigsaw around, but you so slow. More please
Reshuffle Missing!!!
Return the Reshuffle option on the free daily games!!! Annoying the option has completely disappeared!!!
Good but
If being played in English speaking country maybe stick to English. Didn’t sign up for a history lesson, want to play a word puzzle. Without above items it is a good game. Ads are long and tedious, several closings. I wonder if these companies realize their truly annoying ads have the reverse effect?
Making me pay again to remove ads
Several years ago I purchased the Remove Ads option. The ads are back and it wants me to pay again. Restore purchases doesn’t fix it and the Support link is broken.
Changes
I’ve loved this app for ages but not now the changes. There is only one daily clue whereas before there as always at least two. I like the variety with these clues which the packs don’t really give. The reshuffle has also gone which was really useful as many of the clues were American based and half the time I had no idea what that they were. Unfortunately lm going to delete
A game that is simple yet makes you think
The format is simple, easy to understand, yet not so much so you get bored. Some of the puzzles are quite challenging as your eyes won’t see the full words. Good one to play when you are waiting somewhere as you can close it without losing anything. Well worth $5
Endless loop of ads
If you request a hint on your iPad, you find yourself in ads that have no exit. Makes the puzzle unplayable!
Update
How do I get rid of the new “blinking hint” in the word building ? I prefer to fund my own solutions.
Trouble loading
This would be a five star game except for the fact that it so frequently refuses to open! Not a problem with my Ipad. I have never had this problem with another Bonza game app. Ball’s in your court guys. Please fix! Still does not want to open! No response from anyone! Disappointing!
Greedy update
When the latest update came out I was hoping the developers would see that it was a wrong direction to take. I don’t want to see a screen every time I use the app to pay money to remove the ads. Until this, I was fine to watch an ad or two to play additional games. Now, as a form of protest, I won’t watch one single ad. As soon as the initial game is over, I close the app. As I said, I used to get them some money by watching one or two ads per day. Now they get nothing from me. In fact, I discovered that after I do the daily puzzle and I see there’s a jigsaw available to do, if I close the app and then reopen it, I don’t have to watch an ad in order to do the jigsaw. And to make matters worse, they have now instituted the same greedy update in the original Bonza! This whole thing saddens me.
Very Cool
Good times! Some easy… some not easy, but always fun.
Unhappy 🙁
I purchased coins to use for hints. Now I have to watch an ad to use the hints, therefore making the my purchase a waste of money! I used to love this game but now I would just like my money back!
Both Crosswords and Jigsaws are great.
I like changing up the challenges. Great game to occupy some time and wake up the brain in the morning.
So Sad
Before the last update, this was my favorite word game to play and I would have rated it five stars. Now I can only play one game and the games seem much easier than they used to be. I can’t imagine anyone is happy with the update.
Once was great, now it has ads
I have played this game without ads for years. Have recommended it to many others. Now that it has annoying ads popping up at the start it is ruined for me.
Stimulating
Makes you think
I am uninstalling this game
Only free spin per day? Then you give the word puzzles away by highlighting the answer when you maje a wrong connection. How do I turn this off? This is dumbing down the game.
Good topic
I actually enjoyed this, some of it was challenging
Upgrade Disapointment
I purchased permanent ad-free playing and now I’m being prompted to purchase it again. Just how permanent is permanent?
Good
Like the game but only has so many puzzles
Challenging game
This game challenges my thought processes and gives me environmental information at the same time.
Bonza planet
Was better before the update.
A winner
Great game, good choice
New update forces ads
Not only forcing ads, but forcing ads that take multiple screens to exit from. Ads that generate no reward. Really disappointed.
Okay
The game is fine but some of the adverts are positively pornographic
Goldilocks
Not too easy - not too hard - just right!
Disappointed
I purchased all available packs and an ad free experience some years ago. Now I’m required to watch an ad to access previously purchased content and my ad free experience is gone. Never trust a company that renegades on a contract.
Starter pack
Last two puzzles were very easy. Need more of a challenge.
App opens but puzzle opening just spins
Opened app today but daily puzzle would not open, circle just spins
Freezes
Freezes when press hint need to turn off and restart device
Amazing selection of topics to remind us of our beautiful Earth.
Great game to fill those boring minutes!
Used to be good, now ruined
Ruined a good game with excessive ads and unrequested hints
Out of the square
Makes you really think
Bonza Planet
Too many gambling style advertisements in this game
Ads too long
While a simple game the ads are far too long
Enjoy
Great fun!

Love the puzzles. Hate the money you have to keep putting into it for clues. It makes no sense to pay 35 points for 1 clue, when you earn only 5 points for an entire puzzle
Makes you 🤔
Not a bad mix of puzzles and crosswords
Starts great then turns sour
The game starts off being great fun. The puzzles are well throughout and vary in difficulty. You need to earn coins to unlock the puzzle pack, at the start of the game you earn coins for solving puzzles, later on the only way to earn coins is to watch ads. The first few puzzles packs are designed by the developers, but as the game progresses most puzzles are designed by the users, some of which eg Native American Tribes, require very specific knowledge. It’s like trying to solve a word search, with no words, that’s in a foreign language. If you could unlock all puzzles and go ad free for a single one off fee that would be fair, but you must continue to pay ongoing with no idea what this will end up costing.
Interrupted gameplay
Playing bonza is a part of my daily routine and it makes me sad that it crashes every time I watch videos for hints and coins. Please fix it soon!
