One Improvement
I play Bonza puzzles every day. I was a teacher and Bonza. Is the best. Could you please make the letter color darker. This is really needed in this app only..
Star Spangled Banner
On the 250 birthday of the US, your puzzle was ONLY worth 25 coins! I find that insulting.
500
Loved this but I’ve finished level 500 and can’t play anymore except the daily puzzle. Why?
Abandoned App
This was a fun game to pass the time. Just finished a level and can’t start the next for 40 hours? Seriously? Edit: this app appears to have been abandoned. No updates in over a year. No new levels. Removed the weekly puzzles.
Great.. until recently
Was a great game.. but won’t load anymore
Top notch challenges
T op n ot ch cha lle nges
No
Only available in portrait mode, so not good for playing on iPad for me.
Awesome except for
I really love this game. It is one of the few I play that keeps me totally engaged. Drawbacks for me: When I reach a certain level, I get locked out for 72 hrs or so, with no explanation; There is a mention about weekly games, but I have never encountered them; I believe that there is a finite number of levels, and I am getting close to the end.
Much buggier than other games
Needs more attention to bugs in their links. Also today’s puzzle celebrates Chanukah starting tonight…FAIL. You’re about three weeks off. Also, you don’t attend synagogue services for Chanukah. Fact check, anyone?
Thanksgiving is always on a Thursday
On the whole I like this game. I’ve been playing it doe 2 years now. I only gave it 3 star review because the Play puzzle has not had any new puzzles since I finished them over a year ago. Next, the daily puzzles are repeated over the course of the next year and lastly, today is Sunday Nov. 23 in the U. S. and the daily puzzle when it was done said Today is Thanksgiving in U. S. A. Incorrect!!Thanksgiving is only ever on a Thursday. So now I’m upset because there may be other tidbits about other countries that are incorrect!
Fun game
Love this. Relaxing and fun but I finished all the levels. When are more levels coming? Daily puzzles keep me patient until new levels happen.
Ads
Ads and ads and ads and more ads. 24 7 ads and no end in sight. Goodbye!
I think this game is mostly abandoned
There are only 500 levels and they haven’t added more in over a year. It’s a shame because this company makes great games but doesn’t do the upkeep.
Jammer
Heel leuk spel, maar belachelijk veel reclame.
Where have the puzzles gone?
I loved this game! However, after hitting level 500, that’s it! Now there is no weekly game. It only has one daily game. Love the way this app was when I first downloaded it.
Come on…ADD MORE LEVELS!
Last update was in November 2023. All we can play is the daily puzzle and folks are very tired of waiting for more levels. Just read the Reddit reviews.
Lock out is too long
Let me start by saying I love the game, however, the fact that you have to wait longer intervals each time you pass a certain amount of levels is ridiculous. I have just finished chapter 10 and I will not be able to start playing chapter 11 until the 66 hours and 20 minutes are over. I can’t imagine what the purpose of this would be but it’s honestly ridiculous and very frustrating.
One improvement needed
Give me an option to remove the ads and I’ll give you five stars. The ads are a huge distraction! I have to add this very big drawback to an otherwise wonderful game. It makes ZERO sense to make players either wait many hours to continue playing the game or drain the points they have accumulated to “pay to play.” After playing for some time now, I can tell you I find your reasoning inexplicable. It isn’t a plus for you or the player, at least as far as I can tell. Unfortunate!
Too many ads for the gameplay
The ads are way too frequent and often hang or won’t exit. Nice idea, but only playable in thirty-second chunks.
Needs new levels!
There aren’t enough levels. I just finished 500 and there aren’t anymore. I love the game and will change to 5 stars when they add more levels.Ive been waiting for over a year and no new updates to add puzzles! And I’ve posted this numerous times and they don’t check their messages or reviews!
Bring back the weekly game
I finished 500 levels months ago! Add more!
Fun until it locks you out, updated review
Update: Ok, I’m done, still locked out, app says for another 39 hours. It was an okay app but not worth this aggravation. Earlier review: Fun and fairly challenging without being frustrating. Phrases vary in origin and difficulty. My only issue is that after playing a while and dutifully enduring all the ads, the game locks you out for 48-72 hours. You can buy access to one more level by sacrificing points/coins, but after that you’re locked out again. Otherwise it’s a fun pastime, ads are reasonable, no glitches so far.
Need more levels
Love the game but have run out of levels
No Landscape View
No Landscape View for iPad so have not even bothered playing.
3 Stars
I gave this game 3 stars because I hate games that only give you a time limit. I have to wait 72 hours sometimes to play I just don’t get that but also i hate games that you have to waits days weeks fo them to up date. That’s real sad got me cause I really like this game. Many times I emailed about why I have to wait days before I can play again but never got a response. I guess they don’t like you asking questions about their game. Now I’ll have to wait weeks before I can play again.
More levels please
I love this game — it can be easy or challenging. But never boring. I reached level 500 a while ago and have been hoping to see more levels added. I keep playing the daily and weekly games, but would like to see the regular levels updated too. Please??
Lose coins
Any coins that you earn are lost when running the game on multiple iPads under the same Apple ID. They need to fix this. Other than this, it’s a good game.
Way too easy if you’re wordsmart
I think it’s great for people learning spelling, but if you’re good with words it’s not a challenge at all. I play it daily for something to do but have never used my hints and whip through the games. The ads are annoying but on my iPad I go to main screen when an ad pops up, swipe up to get rid of game, then go back in.
Phrases is phun!
I enjoy the variety of topics
Great game!
I love love love this game! My only complaint is the long wait until I can start a new level! What’s the deal with that? I am a long-time user of Bonza!!
Great word game!
I loved playing Bonza and but I wasn’t sure if I’d like this as much. I am pleasantly surprised. So far I’m loving this! The mechanics of connecting the letters are easier; the pieces will automatically shift for you (in Bonza, you sometimes have to rearrange the entire board to fit sections together… granted the Bonza boards have more pieces and are more complicated). The phrases are fun to guess and I like the multiple puzzles to one clue. So far (and I’ve only played a few rounds) I’m enjoying this game!
Nearly perfect
I really enjoy this app but having to wait 68+ hours for a new chapter is ludicrous.
Need to add more than 500 general play
I love playing this game a maxed out on the general puzzles a while ago. Are you going to add more soon?
Bonus phrases
I love this game!! It’s hard sometimes to figure out the words. I’ve had mini strokes, so it helps me with remembering the words.
Bonza Phrases
Love the game!! I was a beta tester and really enjoyed it. Please release more levels soon!! Sandi
Levels have timed lock
I like the game a lot, and bought the ad-free upgrade. It seems a bit easier than the original Bonza. But after you play a few levels, you must either pay coins or wait 60ish hours for the next level to unlock, which is pretty annoying.
