Haven’t gotten new puzzles in MONTHS. — still saying “new puzzles coming soon” every time I open.
Great game….but
They haven’t added any new levels for 4 or 5 months. Why create a game if you aren’t going to support it?
My new favorite word game
Very additive. It starts off simple, but gets more challenging. I wish it used the standard Scrabble dictionary. There are many words that are acceptable in Scrabble, but not acceptable in Moxie — and vice cersa. Also, I’ve been waiting months for new puzzles. STILL WAITING! NO NEW LEVELS SINCE SEPT 2025!
New games????
I like this game a lot but have been waiting for about 6 months for new games! I have to go back two years-one month at a time-to find a month where I haven’t completed all the games. Why have a game that you don’t update??
Fantastic game
I love this game but there hasn’t been any new levels for ages! I am stuck in the salt mines in Poland. When will there be new levels.

Not Dictionary Friendly
Words that you can use with the American Heritage Dictionary aren’t allowed here. Frustrating to play this game. Plus you have to use a nickname to review and always the nickname used is taken.
Love the game
Will there be new levels? I really enjoy this game but has been months since new levels added.
Did the developers give up?
The app hasn’t been updated in MONTHS. I hope people aren’t purchasing the extras hoping to use them any time soon. So disappointing because it’s one of my favorites.
Great game but slow on the new levels updates
I thoroughly enjoy this one and have played all levels and every daily challenge that was available. But it is very frustrating how long it takes to get those level updates.

No new games in 3 months!
No new games have been added in 3 months- only the daily challenge. When will there be new games/levels? It’s getting really boring.
Great game…but
Great game. Play it daily. But, the lags between new levels of puzzles is way too long. It has been weeks, maybe more than a month so far. Gonna give it another week or two to see if they add new levels. If not, time for a new game!
Loss of points
At least twice I have earned extra points for getting all the stars for the month just to see them disappear. It really is aggravating to have worked so hard and then not get the reward. Please fix this glitch as soon as possible. 😡😡

Word tips useless
I really enjoy this game but one aspect, the word tips, are useless. It only suggests words with the lowest score! Why have word tips that facilitate a lower score? It’s no advantage at all. Just do away with it.

Honestly this is a great games but the wait and delays between updates makes it easy to find an alternative!
Great game
If you’re a lover of word puzzles, then this game is for you! It’s completely free and there are no pop up ads. You can choose to watch ads for extra turns, but they aren’t mandatory. Also, the customer service is superb.
Big flaw
Really loved this game until it made me choose Word Tips. Don’t like being given hints!
Changed Review, Again
10/29/25: I finally gave up waiting for the salt mines to show up or for the travelogue to be available to replay and reinstalled the app. I would rate the game itself as a 5, but it remains a 4 because: ** The font is still too small**. It is very difficult to read the score or game requirements (number of letters, for example).
New levels?
I have been playing Moxie since I found it a few months ago. In fact, I have played it so much that I’ve run out of levels (except for the daily ones). Just wondering when there will be new content added as I am hopelessly addicted now! Also, the letters offered toward the end of a round, are generally useless (v,x,z etc.) leaving little hope of passing the level. I am running out of patience!

Love the game, but disappointed
I have reached the highest level so far. I knocked myself out to play enough games to earn 4000 points. I got three quarters of the way through when I got to the Azores level only to find there were no more puzzles. “Coming soon” is not real information! You get five stars when you keep up!
Really fun and addicting game
Love love love this game! As a person with low vision, I can find very few games to play on my phone and this one works perfect. I just reach level 500 and it is so much fun. Can’t wait to reach more. Great game.
Annoying
Rejecting words like “June”??? I don’t think so, you need to up your vocabulary somewhat. And understanding English might help
Good but …
This is a pretty good word game. However, it does take a looooong time to earn any coins, unless you want to sit around and play for 3 hours while you accumulate words, which I seldom can do. It also takes a looooong time to reach a new level to earn some helpers. That said, so far no ads that I care nothing about, or are completely bogus, annoying, and lengthy. So, finally there is a game I CAN play without interruptions. Most of those ad apps I immediately delete. One more thing. I got to one level that required 7 straight words to complete. One pass or miss and your shot to do that is gone. Ridiculous, considering how long it takes to earn any coins to help. You should at least earn 10 coins per round. After 20+ attempts I gave up and deleted the app.
Better before ads
This game was sooo much better before they succumbed to being like every other game and included annoying ads. Please return it to the pre-ad format.
Love, love, love this game!
I absolutely love playing Moxie! It is up there with Wordle and Words with Friends. I have been playing it since the beginning because all the Blue Ox games are fun and clever word games. Moxie is very challenging once you understand how to play. There is a tutorial as you start and stick with it because it cleverly explains how to play and tricks and to help you score the best words. Like Wordle you are only playing against yourself, but unlike ke Wordle there is no limit to how many games you can play in one sitting LOL! Once you’ve worked out the rules and understand how to play it is absolutely addictive — but in a good way. Playing Moxie has thoroughly helped my scores in Words with Friends. If you have a question, the Blue Ox team answer you quickly and give you a clear explanations to help you play your best game. I think this is the first review I have every posted but this game deserves my time and yours. It’s that good. Have fun!
Had to Delete the Game
Loved the game until I reached approximately level 148, where the rules changed and instructions were unclear. The game offers no way to go back and review instructions. In addition, rewards are relatively tiny compared to the effort invested. The game is very quick to issue lengthy time-outs, but hard work is not rewarded.

Missing something
Maybe I don’t know how to play but this seems really hard. And I’m very good at word games. A few things: the rewards aren’t enough to keep me interested for long. And the word bank is lacking. Odd words seem to be acceptable but basic words get you a twaddle. This needs to be fixed. I’m at level 150 and feel like I’m going to be there forever. And I know I’m missing the excitement of traveling all over hill and dale. I don’t get the meaning of it all. Point me to a place where things can be explained more thoroughly. I want to love this game, I really do.
I love this game!
I play it all the time. My husband can always tell because I am holding my tablet in portrait mode! I was wondering what if anything triggers the Word frenzy challenges. I have it on a couple of devices, okay 3. They are all on different levels. They don’t all do it at the same time. Is it a score thing? Some of them say weekend frenzy, but not all of my devices start the challenge. I am just curious, it is my favorite part. And of course, learning archaic Scottish farming words!🤣🤣

That game doesn’t work. It freezes 5 seconds after opening.
Makes you think!
I love this game because it truly makes you think and strategize as you place the letters. I enjoy both the daily challenge and the regular levels. I do wish there was one more goal on the daily challenge between 60 and a perfect 4 stars every day, usually about 120. It goes 20, 40, 60, 120. It would be nice to have one more goal, maybe 90? That said, it has become one of my favorite daily games.
Level 442
I've enjoyed this game so far but what is going on with level 442? The goal to make the five 3 card words is impossible. There's only 4 rows. The top one doesn't count. I'm only able to get 3 of the 5 and see no way to get past this. Thanks for any help.

What the ?
The game is unplayable! The first screen of a “wizard” seems frozen ! Nothing to do ! It mentioned “dragging the card A” but there is not even a card that we can drag !!!
Excellent free app; needs a better dictionary
I am definitely enjoying using this app, but it’s frustrating when a valid word, like “R OO“ is considered a twaddle. However, overall, it’s a fun game, and I appreciate the fact that I don’t have to spend any money to play it.

This was a great game but now it’s frozen I’m on level 853. If I delete and reload I will lose all my progress. Grrrrr!
