The perfect puzzle game
This is my new favorite word game. No timers, no lives, no unnecessary competitive elements. It helps me as a writer too, because it challenges my vocabulary and teaches me new words. The game design is sleek and the ads aren’t overwhelming. I can’t get enough!

Interesting idea for a different kind of game. Challenging but not impossible. Enjoying it a lot.
More ads than play
The game itself is good. It starts out OK, but then the ads are after every other game. If you solve the games quickly, the ads take more time than gameplay.

I love this game. I could play for hours except for the ads. I paid for the ad-free version, but never got a code. I emailed those folks but they don’t reply. If not for feeling ripped off, I would give it 5 stars. 😒
Fun and Stimulating
This is a neat and different style of word game. It’s keeping my mind fresh!
More ad-time than actual gameplay
This game is very fun and mentally stimulating. I got pretty far before calling it quits because of the ads. I’m all for ads in free versions of games but it feels a little ridiculous to have to sit through a two-minute un-skippable ad every two rounds, especially when some rounds are played in that same amount of time. It feels like more time is spent watching ads than actually playing the game. Honestly, these are longest ads I’ve seen out of every game I play that has ads! I believe there’s an ad-free version for $7/8 USD but that also seems a bit high to me for a word game such as this one.

Word choices are insane.
There are so many 5 letter words that people actually use, but for some reason half the answers in these puzzles are complete gibberish like “dedit “ or “allay”, like my autocorrect doesn’t even recognize them. It’s obnoxious. And an obscene number of them are 4 letter words that are plural, which is just boring.

It’s a nice game, lots of extra words that the 5 letters use…so it’s not difficult to solve.

Ads, ads, ads… and more ads
The game itself is nice, but the EXCESSIVE amount of ads ruins it. I understand the concept of ad revenue, but it would be nice to play more than two games in a row without yet another ad. Update: Played for three days. As you go higher up in levels, the percentage of other players doesn’t change for several more games at a time. In other words, you’ll spend more time dealing with ads than in actual game play.

Worth a download
Not to easy or hard, definitely takes me time to realize I can reuse letters
My brain hurts, but in a good way.
Today I downloaded Wordathlon thinking I’d play for five minutes; an hour later, I was still trying to find a six-letter word for "regret" (ironically). Best part? It doesn't feel like a giant ad-delivery machine, which is RARE these days.
