I love this app! The only problem is that I finished all the puzzles and keep seeing “new puzzles are coming soon” and that was months ago. When do you think the update with new puzzles with be available? KB
Why did you change the game
I have been playing this game for a long time. Why did you change it??? I hate this new version! I will be deleting this app ASAP.
Repetitive Puzzles
Tired of playing the same 10 puzzles over and over again. I’m playing on hard level but they the same puzzles no matter what level I play on. I love this style of gameplay but I’m getting really bored with it

This is a fun game, but the puzzles often repeat. Very frustrating.
Fun
Thoroughly enjoy it. I’m on level 97. My only complaint is every 4-5 levels I do I end up repeating 1-2. Sometimes 3 of the same crosswords. Could be part of it which is why I’m staying with 5. The difficulty has progressed at a steady pace and I love the idea of leveling up letters.
Obviously no longer supported
This app is obviously no longer supported by the Developer. They take the money for a lifetime of no ads and then have stopped adding new or updated content for at least a year.

Keeps repeating puzzles I’ve just done. From what I’ve seen in other reviews this hasn’t been fixed as of yet.

I want my money back!
I paid to remove the ads in this game because it seemed so nice and well done. Come to find out the puzzle repeat I got wasn’t a one-off. It’s happened a LOT. I’m not really interested in playing the same few puzzles over and over. I feel like I’ve been ripped off.

Energy loss
Why the heck do I run out of energy after playing maybe five or six levels?? Why does there seem to be no way to earn more energy as you play?? I could understand it if I was failing to complete levels, or if it was timed game. But it is extremely annoying to be playing along and suddenly get a box in the middle of the screen, telling me that I am out of energy. It really limits the amount of time I spend playing this game, because once I have to go away from it to allow the energy to refill, I tend not to go back to it. It is an enjoyable and challenging game. The clues cover many topics and many times, from current to decades ago. This makes it a challenge for all ages and all types of people. I like the game a lot, but running out of energy so quickly makes it very frustrating. I thought developers wanted people to play their game as much as possible, but apparently not. Update: I received a very nice response from the developer. They explained that the reason you run out of energy is in that they hope you will either watch ads to renew energy, or pay for the weekly or monthly “passes” which allow you to play without running out of energy. I still think energy runs out far too quickly, and it annoys me enough that I am unlikely to pay money to keep that from happening. But because I got such a clear, helpful response from the developer, I will at least look at the subscription amount. I am unlikely to pay weekly or monthly, as I don’t play ANY game enough to warrant that. I’d much rather just pay once for a game than have recurring payments, but I very much appreciate the developer’s response. Unlike many other developer’s responses, this one actually answered the questions/concerns I put forth in my review. Thank you for that!
Luna Cross
The game itself is great, would give it 5 stars, but when there is an ad before every level, and then I have to watch a full length ad to keep playing, because I ran out of energy, it’s like you’re telling me you don’t want me to keep playing. With that many ads, one before each level, I would think that should be sufficient income. I don’t mind the level ads, but when you say I can’t play without watching another one, I say OK. I won’t play then. Deleting the game until you remove the energy requirement.
Good game, but….
I was really enjoying this game, have been playing Cody Cross for a long time, so thought this would be a nice twist. However, after playing a few games, all at once it starts to repeat the ones I already completed. And, it uses energy. So you only get to play for a limited time. If I get playing a game and enjoying it, I want to be able to stay at it. So for those reasons, i’ve deleted the app. Sorry!
Cute, Fun Game
Not understanding previous reviews saying that you need a Ph.D. or encyclopedic knowledge to solve the puzzles? They're fairly common crossword clues and answers such as, “where a baby sleeps” with the answer being “cradle”... The animations are cute. The game provides opportunities to learn new things and I have so far been able to reach over level 25 without having to use any clues or hints because a lot of guesswork is removed with how the crossword board is laid out. It's relatively easy to use deductive reasoning to solve any unknown answers because you're not working with letter combinations or possibilities that won't appear within at least one answer in the puzzle. Definitely recommend for those that enjoy crosswords!
Same puzzles
I think Luna Cross is fun when it comes out on Friday on Cody Cross. The problem with the stand alone version is that the same exact game/board appears 2-3 times in a row. This is a waste of my time. I also paid the $6.99 for ad free version but the game still wants me to watch ads.
No more room
When are you (the developer) going to introduce new rooms etc too what has other been a great app , been waiting some four wks or more for the update , please sort it , thanking you

One big issue
I want to like this game. I think it’s a cool twist on the crossword style of games. However, there is a frequently recurring issue where I have to play previous puzzles that I’ve already solved. They just randomly show up again, like 1-3 of them. I do not enjoy replaying levels. I was just dealing with it, but after beating level 60 level 61 is the exact same puzzle. It’s a repeat. And these repeats still cost energy to play. I don’t know if I want to keep playing until this mechanic is fixed. I hope it’s a bug and not intentional. That would be really scummy. Please fix this issue.
Deceptive
Update 7/11/2023. There is no deception as far as the no-ads option is concerned. This was a misunderstanding on our part and we apologize to the developer for this. The game itself is great and a lot of fun to play and the no-ads option we paid for is working properly. Thanks to the developer for responding to our review. Very deceptive no-ads purchase policy. We paid $6.99 for no-ads and still get ads at end of game. Too late for us but want to warn other users to be careful. No-ads should mean no-ads. Period. Apple should remove them from store for deceptive sales practices.
Infuriating Limits, add blocks “no thanks” button
I just never play this anymore. I came back to the game this morning. My morning mission is to play seven games. Sadly, the game only allows me to play five games! This is a fatal flaw in an otherwise great game. I do not recommend. The aggravation is just not worth it. And now there is an add covering the “no thanks” button, meaning I played one level and now I’m completely stuck. Great game totally ruined by the level limits and add pop-ups. (Would love to attach a screenshot to this review.)
All good things end…
Somewhere around level 850, the puzzles started repeating. Not much fun any more. I received a reply from the developers that they are aware of the problem. That gives them another star!
Loved it until the ads started covering the game board
I have an iPhone Mini, and recently the ads at the top of the screen started to push down the games top bar (back arrow, settings) so that the bar sits on top of the top row of letters, making it difficult to grab any letters on the top row. Please fix this.
Puzzles repeat constantly
I like the game but often I finish a puzzle and select play new puzzle and the same one shows up or I get one I did 3 puzzles ago and have to work through them again. I don’t see any other complaints like this so am I doing something wrong?

CodyCross is my all time favorite game, play it every single day. This is a nice addition to my daily favorites. Keep up the great work Fanatee! For some reason LunaCross just destroys my battery though. Have to play it plugged in. 🤷🏻♂️

I’ve played level 46 successfully but it keeps coming up in my view
Fun, but…….
Really like Cody Cross so figured I would give this a shot. It’s fun, but very hard to be able to increase points. When it “costs” 600 - 700 points to increase a letter point you can’t get very far. You only get 40 points per puzzle and you never get any “helper” aids. Will keep playing but maybe you could loosen up the points!
Makes whole iPad unresponsive
Over time, seemingly not dependent on the small number of puzzles played, but if played slowly while doing other stuff IRL, it’ll make the whole iPad unresponsive. You won’t be able to move letter tiles at first, then won’t even be able to use the app switcher to force close the game in under 2-3 minutes.
Too long for updates
I would’ve given this game five stars but it seems they’ve forgotten about their own game. I finished the 30 collections nearly four months ago, and since they haven’t added anything new. Come on now!!

Good game one flaw
I am enjoying this word game related to CodyCross quite a bit. But I have one issue with the “Mission page”. It comes up inconsistently, only flashes briefly - too brief to read it all, and then disappears only when it decides to show up again. You need a button to access it and leave it up til I dismiss it. Thanks for listening.
The "no ads" purchase is deceptive
It's a fun game. However the purchase for no ads is expensive and deceptive. Instead of an add after every puzzle, you still get a "no energy left" message. You can only play more puzzles be waiting 5 - 15 minutes, using tokens or watching ads. Definitely not what I paid for.
Love the game, hate the ads
There are at least 3-4 ads between each game. That is way more then any other game I play. That being said I really like the game when I have the patience to go thru all the ads.
Alertness
I look for games that will keep my mind alert since I’m getting older. Even though I cheat sometimes with the ones I know I won’t know. It makes my mind work.
OVERLOADED WITH ADS
Way too many ads same ones over and over most are between 60 and 90 seconds
Historical accuracy
In level 169, you give the hint “Wounded ____, 1890 BATTLE in South Dakota,” which might be true in most history textbooks, but it is actually more accurate and respectful to call it what it really was: a MASSACRE of indigenous people. I’m really enjoying this game otherwise, and I recognize I might be called “too sensitive” for saying this, but I think it is extremely important to address history in a way that doesn’t paint too rosy an image of what actually happened and faithfully acknowledges some of the horrors in our past so that we can grow and become better from it.
What’s happened?

Great Idea but….
This could easily be my favorite game but between the low number of energy given at a time and the ad between every level it is almost unbearable to play.

The picture at the start never changes. It always I used up all the materials never see new items. So I don’t know if it’s new or not help?
Rewards are lost
This is a great game, but it doesn’t actually give you the rewards it says it does. If you do 7 puzzles in a day, it shows your rewards score as higher, but the next morning the points it gave you yesterday are gone. During the day, as you do puzzles, it looks like it is giving you rewards, but the total number doesn’t actually increase. This is not fair to the people playing this fun game.

I enjoy playing but the autoroute has decided to put an ad in after every single game . It gets annoying. Still, I do like the game. It would get 5 stare if not for the ad frequency.
