My map disappeared
Have loved the robot vacuum for a couple years now. However, when I went to start it this evening after an update the mapping of my house had just disappeared! Help!!? It was such a hassle in the beginning to get it mapped correctly and put in all the off limits areas. (Although once that’s all done, it’s fantastic!)
Amazing when the app works
This app is very inconvenient. Once you update it you have to uninstall the app to utilize the apps updates. I never can update and use the app. I am forced to uninstall the app then reinstall the app to use the updates. This is very frustrating.

Dreadful
Terribly app, completely outdated, glitches causes so many issues. The robots are fantastic if you could free them from the software but it’s is bad it needs to completely be redone. I’d do it myself if they asked me to. Needs a complete rethink. The competition all have much better apps.

Love my Shark. Had it for almost a year with no issues. I love the specific room or whole house feature.
App Fail
App stopped letting me sign in a week or two ago. I tried resetting my password, logging in online. Nothing worked. Tried to get app support and hit a brick wall there. Never found anywhere on the website to report an app issue.
Mop option
Vaccine works great but the mopping leaves a lot to be desired. Even with heavy setting for water, it still leaves a lot on the tile and shows no traces of water
Strange limitations
Overall it works ok, but there are strange artificial limits that make no sense… I have kids that are quite messy, and I got this expecting to be able to schedule a quick vacuum and mop job in the specific spaces they eat every day for each meal, but no, you can’t schedule for specific rooms to do both vacuum and mop… which makes no sense. Also, I figured maybe I can get around this by just putting two scheduled jobs right after each other, but you can only have 2 scheduled jobs a day… why! These aren’t issues with the device, they are with the app, since it is the app that has these seemingly artificial limits.
The app
The app is SLOW. Yall need to fix that is really annoying yes everything is updated yessss like i want to turn my robot off by the app because its going to wakeup people is in middle of the night and i cant even log in into my account at all everytime i log in it js automatically sends me back to oog in again???? Like its reslly frustrating dealing with a slow app not going to purchase products from this company anymore since i know ill have to use the app fix your appp pleasse!
My queen
I love my vacuum, clean Latifah, the name options are so cute and I can’t wait to decorate her. Very excellent great quality floor vacuum, I never have any problems with it getting stuck, my floors have never been cleaner. And I love that I could start it on my way home from work and the floor is nicely clean by the time I get home.
No Mapping Feature?
My RV1001AE no longer has the mapping option in the app rendering the vacuum useless.
Works great
The app works great, but could use a couple features. One, there should be a way to remap one room without having to remap the entire house. In the same vein, there should be a way to remap for just rugs/ carpets separate from remapping everything. Also, there should be a way to schedule operations every other week (when I travel I don’t need mopping every week).

Twin sharks
I have a fairly large house and so I bought two sharks one for upstairs and one for downstairs the downstairs one cleans over 1000 square feet and the upstairs one cleans approximately 625 ft.² they’ve been doing a fantastic job and have only occasionally gotten stuck in the first couple of weeks of use so I have moved certain furniture items or closed doors to keep them from getting interrupted by getting stuck. Highly recommended.
Connecting Vacuum Awful
Trying to connect a vacuum in this app is the most frustrating thing I've done in my life. I recommend you return your shark product and buy something else because I spent multiple hours over the course of numerous days trying to hook this vacuum up.

I would pay for an update! I have 3 levels in my house, and the memory only works with 1 level. 🤬
Software is lacking bigtime
The software for this robot hoover is seriously lagging behind the hardware, the hoover itself is very capable and does a very good job of hoovering and mopping, the app however is awful, the map generation leaves a lot to be desired, the hover quite frequently gets lost and just completely misses cleaning large areas of my home! I got the hoover for 50% discount and starting to see why it was so heavily discounted!
Good except for dog hair
The robotic vacuum is a timesaver, it does a decent job cleaning up the floor. The only thing it doesn’t do very well is pick up dog hair, which tends to clog the intake.

It does the job ok. We do have 3 dogs so it does have to be cleaned a lot which I expected. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I’ve already had to change the brushes because 1 kept falling off. But the new set seems to be ok.
Great vacuum beyond basic app
I have had multiple robot vacuums and due to that used multiple apps. The vacuum itself is great. I love that the dust bin is bag less. But the app itself leaves much to be desired. It doesn’t track the robot in the app, so you don’t see where it’s cleaned, it feels clunky, and overall it’s just bare bones. Setting no go zones was a pain, but once set they are good. I had to try and set the map 3 times before it actually worked. And its transition over carpets is not great.
2:1 Map creation is hurting
1. If I added a carpet to one room why does the robot have to do the whole house? I moved furniture from one room to another as I am vacuuming and mopping it. I set up a new carpet area in a bedroom that is far from the charging station. Why does it have to drive around until the end and maybe even run out of batteries before it knows that I just added that one 8’x10’ carpet in the bedroom. It should be able to query the difference between the map before I added the carpet and the map after I added the carpet and saved it to know that there’s only one carpet that I added and which room it is in. 2. Why not allow me to modify the map if I add furniture? There are so many software out there now that allow a person to modify a vector based image. And if the map is Raster, based which I don’t think it is, it would be even easier. It’s silly that it would like me to modify the whole house again if I just add a couch to one room or if I remove a couch and a coffee table.

Does ok
The mop is great but the vacuum misses so much, it has the sensor that will make it go back to something on the ground and it will go over it, but it doesn’t pick it up and it can be as little as the tiniest crumb. I’ve watch it go over a piece of dog hair and it won’t pick it up. It drives me crazy. Same with the carpet on “high” it gives the lines to make it look clean but it’s not. My old $80 robot shark vacuum did better but only lasted a year.
App review. Not vac.
So. I’ve ‘upgraded’ from a basic Tapo roboVac to this shark thermostat one. Machine is great. App is terrible. Can’t see where it’s cleaned. No direction, can’t change the power , terrible lag on tracking the vac. Spot clean is a fixed size. Tapo had all that. I could track it in real time. See if it had cleaned, how much and which direction. Come on shark this needs updating. It’s basic app. Set the vac and off it goes. Other than that nothing. And I can’t get it to do anything u til it’s fully charged.

App glitching and can’t log in
I installed the latest update of this app, and now I can’t even log in to my account. The page keeps glitching and reappearing over and over again. I’ve tried resetting my pw multiple times and cannot login

Poor app
Not user friendly. When setting up the map there is not any clipping between rooms ( so room lines overlap ) marking out no go zones or carpet zones is VERY frustrating. You get it off by 1 inch and have to go back and edit the map and it moves over way to much. Then you have to repeat to process of having the vacuum come to the carpet/no go zone and back to the dock until you get it perfect. Which takes A LOT of time that I don’t have because I purchased this so I didn’t have to spend the time cleaning my floors. This robot has the ability to map the home it should be able to map the carpets. If you want to move the dock even a foot you have to redo the whole mapping process. My vacuum mop allowed me to change the levels of vacuuming and mopping, but the mopping levels has completely disappeared off the app and I get very little mopping done. Should have returned and purchased something else. I wouldn’t purchase a shark robot product again, and I do not recommend to anyone.
Still asks me about carpet zones and could use edits
My model AV26101EUS repeatedly prompts to add carpet zones in a no‑carpet home. Launching from saved map It’s incredibly annoying to be asked to add carpet zones or rugs every time I go to mop when I don’t have any carpets or rugs on my main floor. I also wish it would tell me what to do about an error when it comes up. It forgets what it was doing if I have to fix the dust cup or whatever so it doesn’t know where it was in that process.
Happiness
This is by far my most favorite product I’ve ever had in my home. The vacuum does amazing. The mop is amazing. I couldn’t be more happier. I can’t wait to buy a second one for my basement.
Apps good, login sucks
The app functions well but it randomly logs you out (maybe I’m not active enough in it) The login process is a pain. I’ve tried passkey and normal email/password combo but it just redirects back to the login page most of the time. It usually takes several attempts to login. Could just be me, but if the login flow were fixed this app is great.
Great Hardware with Too Basic Software
I love how the robot executes its cleaning duties, but the software falls short. For example:Once the initial mapping is complete, you cannot edit room borders to create a truly accurate map.More often than not, the robot gets stuck bumping into a specific area until the battery dies—even after it notifies you that it is on its way back to the base.Regarding the mapping feature, users cannot edit detected furniture to reflect its realistic shape or move it if the physical furniture is relocated (e.g., a sofa).

Just bought one and seems to be faulty, although giving it a manual push makes wonders and works great but then stop working again, I have been trying to contact support which is super hard trying to connect with anyone, the ai bot should be a bit better, the app as informative as it is, I think it could be a bit better, giving more information about what the base is doing, better connectivity, and map routes they don’t most areas or take big corners, sometimes don’t do certain rooms

Only partially I was hoping it was going to do a better job than what it does. I should have saved my money and bought another vacuum.

We have 3 small boys, so our kitchen floor is CONSTANTLY covered in crumbs and food. This Shark vacuum + mop robot has been a lifesaver for us. I've had it for about a year now and the best feature is being able to select which room to clean from the app. I can just send it to the kitchen after dinner and it handles both vacuuming and mopping in one go. Notifications on app
Why oh why does the robot mop talk to you in a voice that isn’t clear and can’t be heard if you are in another room…instead of (or as well as) providing notifications on the app. Eg water tank is empty???

I don’t like that on the app while the vacuum is running I doesn’t show it progress. I have 2 Australian shepherds and It does work with pet hair. It gets stuck often.
Best Cleaning Vacuum App
This app does a great job controlling and allowing me to schedule my cleanings. I have been using it for two years without any problems. I have one vacuum in the main house and one in the pool house. I love being able to control both machines from anywhere.

Good for light cleaning
This works well for picking up dust, but if it’s anything more than that, not enough power. We have dogs, so this has been helpful for occasional automatic dusting of the floor floors.
