My view
Really happy with the App
Unable to use outside UK
Unlike all of the other credit apps available on the Apple App Store, including those that also use TransUnion data, you can’t use the Totally Money app outside of the UK even if you are a permanent resident in the UK. Makes me wonder why Totally Money is apparently an outlier, and whether security on the Totally Money app is weaker than on the other apps. PS I did contact Totally Money to ask why, but they refused to provide an answer.
iOS 26 compatibility issues
I loved the app until the latest iOS update. Now all I get is a rotating icon. It’s very frustrating.
Not Accurate
Despite regular savings of over £1000 per month the app states i have not saved money and that my outgoings are more than income. My credit rating is accurately recorded as excellent.

This application really helps me alot to improve my Credit Score, with free of cost.
Unreliable
It would’ve been great if it actually worked! It can work great one month and then suddenly it doesn’t recognise certain incomes or direct debit payments. Very unreliable and not useful if it doesn’t recognise bills and payments consistently.
Compatibility issues with iOS 26
It used to really work well without issues until iOS 26 and iOS 18 were rolled out . I’m on the 26.2.1 update and this app literally freezes after 1 or 2 clicks. I tried to raise this issue but nothing has been done so far. After working so well in getting the live credit scores and great offers, the app has almost become useless. I wish the technical team looks into these issues thank you
Monitor is not entirely accurate
Generally OK for looking at your TransUnion credit rating. Monitor is a bit buggy. Doesn’t recognise the State Pension as regular income. My car finance loan with Hyundai Capital UK is designated as “Highland Capital Partners”, which is obviously incorrect.

App stopped working
The app has recently stopped working. When checking for available credit cards it goes into an infinite loading screen and never serves the results.
Loan offers
I'm disappointed that you're pushing out Bamboo for loans, the interest rates on these loans are extortionate and people will end up paying double what they borrowed. Companies like this are preying on vulnerable people, and if I'm honest it really taints my good experience of the TM app. I like using TM but seeing them push out companies like this makes me think they prioritise lining their own pockets with ad revenue over app users.
Features stopped working
Was a great app, but recently a number of features have stopped loading, so I’m not really getting the benefit anymore.

Updated app has bugs
Cannot use the app without uninstalling it and install it every time when I want to access my account.
Review
Really annoying more or less getting emails everyday for loans or credit cards but my score is too low and my borrowing power is awful so I don’t have a chance and yous know I don’t have a chance at the moment until I clear my previous debt . I also have a bad marker against my name from three mobile the amount is completely incorrect they have it down as I owe the full amount from the start of the contract despite me paying half of it off. I’ve already asked for this to be looked into and I’m still waiting since April it’s now October. They also passed it to a debt collector who cannot produce the contract I had with three mobile and three mobile will not produce for them or for me . It’s fraud and wrecking my credit . Sort it asap or don’t offer a service you cannot provide

Worked fine for ages… then broke!
App worked well for quite a long time, and was quite useful. But recently the company have suddenly decided not to permit access to the app whilst behind a VPN! With the great need for increased security and privacy, this has highlighted how delighted I am that companies are now showing their true colours and what they are truly up to behind the scenes! I have requested the erasure of my data and exercised my right to be forgotten. In fairness, they responded instantly. Which is a credit to them. I’m afraid I cannot rate this any more than ‘1 star’ as I am unable to use the service. It is therefore entirely useless. The 1 star is for the very efficient response to my request.
Score history
The change in the Score History is awful, now you cannot see the full history of the score for some reason. Why change something that was not broken? —- Thank you for the response, but it does not actually do anything. You have gone from showing your score daily to it being monthly only. You cannot see when your score changed. As I said you have changed this for no good reason, it’s not an upgrade but a downgrade!

Simple, yet powerful
Love this app for tracking my credit score. I can log in to look at a summary of my credit score at a glance or get right in to the weeds of what could be causing it to fluctuate. I thought it was perfect and then after updating today, I can now can now see movement month sinceI first started using back in 2020 which is great, but what’s more, I get summary of the potential reasons for the change and can drill down in to more detail… wow guys, what a fantastic development for an already great app. If you are reading this and want an app that not only helps you track your credit score - this will do it in it. If you want something that simultaneously teaches you how the system of credit scoring works whilst keeping you up to speed on your own then I wholeheartedly recommend this app.
Data is not accurate
I have complained before to this company that the data that they report is not accurate yet despite this they still advise inaccurate information. Experian by contrast accurately reflects my status and my excellent credit rating.
There’s no daily score change
Liked the app. I used it because I was sold on the fact they used to advertise it as daily score updates. It doesn’t matter if they check by the second. Companies send info in the middle of the month for a monthly update at the beginning of the next month so you can check every day but you will only see it change once a month Also I have a borrow power of 7.9 which is High according to them yet only offers me Aqua credit card lol but on Checkmyfile I have very high credit score so it’s all just nonsense with TM
