The worst bank
Good morning, I’d like to share my bad experience with a (ALEXBANK ) credit card. Unfortunately, it’s one of the worst banks you could deal with. They deduct money from the card without clearly explaining what the charges are. I was surprised after making a transaction to find a difference between the previous balance and the available balance, even though the message said that only 10,080 EGP had been deducted. However, when I calculated the difference between the previous and current balance, I found that the actual deducted amount was 10,584 EGP — meaning there was an extra 504 EGP deducted without any notification from the bank, neither through messages nor during the transaction itself. For comparison, I made the exact same transaction with the same amount using a National Bank of Egypt credit card, and the correct amount was deducted. I was even able to pay it in installments. So I contacted Alex Bank customer service, only to be shocked by their response: they said there is a 5% fee on Fawry wallet transactions. I was extremely upset and told them that I made the same transaction using an NBE credit card and no such fee was applied. The customer service agent replied that this is the bank’s policy. I asked if this was a Central Bank decision, and he said yes — which is clearly not true. If it were a Central Bank regulation, it would apply to all banks. Also, there was no prior notification before making the transaction explaining that the amount deducted would be 10,080 EGP plus additional fees. I asked how they could do this without informing customers, but there was no convincing response. I also requested to convert the transaction into installments, but they refused, saying they don’t allow installment plans for Fawry wallet transactions — even though I was able to do it for the exact same transaction through the National Bank of Egypt. This has been the worst experience and the worst customer service. I strongly advise anyone not to even consider getting a credit card from Alex Bank — and honestly, it’s better not to open an account there at all.

الابليكشن سئ لو انت بتتبع عملياتك اللي تمت بيضلل يعني مثلا تكون عامل سحب يوم ٢٥ يجيبلك انك سحبت يوم ٢٩ في الشهر ود شئ خطير مضلل بالنسبه لابليكشن بنكي!

Blocked my account after a hundred times of login trials and visiting the branch for 5 times and each time they send me details of activation which I followed with their customer service 19033 then lastly failed to login as invalid Id and password

بنك سيء جداً في كل حاجه حتى الموظفين لا انصح به سيء جداً للاسف سوف يتم الغاء الحساب الاهلي وبنك مصر افضل بكتير جدا انصح عدم التعامل مع هذا البنك لسوء الخدمات والتعامل

عملت التحديث الاخير الاول كنت ادخل ببصمة الوجة مباشرة بعد التحديث يتعرف على البصمة وبعدين تدخل على الرقم السرى للاسف نسيت الرقم السرى ولما دخلت اعمل استراداد لازم تزور الفرع او تتصل على خدمة العملا وطلع بفلوس كمان

This is by far the best mobile banking for a bank in Egypt, it’s extremely easy to use, love how easy I can transfer money, check my balance, pay my card, open deposits account, wish I can do more like applying for cheque books, applying for auppment cards

التطبيق لا يعمل بعد آخر تحديث يظهر به رسالة كأن الهاتف مُخترق في حين أنه لم يتم عمل أي شيء ف الهاتف وجميع تطبيقات البنوك الأخرى تعمل بدون مشاكل

Enhancement
The performance of the app needs some enhancements, the transactions page takes a lot of time to load also the login process. The error messages are not handled. And every time i log in now i get (-999) error!

Good app, but needs some modifications
The application is really good but after updating to ios 14 the application crashes before it even opens like it makes it like opening and after it is just close. Okay, a new update 23/09/2020 after I contacted the support they asked me about the os version and the iphone model, then couple of days after They contacted me they got the application updated and it works just fine as before.
