Love It!
Great program that easily tracks your accounts and budgeting. The best and simplest program that handles every day household and investment budgeting.
Bad
Hate this painfully generic icon they just updated to instead of making the unique wallet icon into a liquid glass design. There doesn’t seem to be any liquid glass within the app as stated. Same constant nag to go premium every single time I open the app. An inconvenience I’ve expressed willingness to pay for to go away (like a cheaper ad-free subscription). I wonder if the developers realize that after seeing this nag 10,000 times people might be more interested in deleting the app than buying premium.
App is just about perfect
I use the free version as I like tracking my own finances only thing I wish the app had, would be a way to make due dates on credit cards and loans Would make this app the best app for finances
Hopeless
This app is ridiculously slow to connect to banks. Days. And then it is often incorrect. I’d love to find an alternative account aggregator.
Long time user considering a new platofrm
Currently running v9.0.3 but since the last update the investment updates have failed again, not for the first time. Have reported it but nothing changed yet and now considering using another finance package.
Steve Jobs would have done this
This app absolutely nails it. No unnecessary frills--just a clean, straightforward design that works perfectly. I was able to try it for free with multiple accounts and test iCloud sync before committing. The icing on the cake is its ability to connect to virtually any bank in the world. Unbelievably ingenious. This feels like the kind of app Steve Jobs would have used when building Apple.
Help is Abysmal
Can not figure out whether or not this program can connect directly to financial institution. Spent 5 minutes browsing help and did not find a solution. So the program went in the trash!

It tracks your expenses at best
No updates, just bug fixes. I’ve been using this a while now, and you still have to physically input the period with every transaction. It would be nice to get some new features, but I don’t think this app is a priority with the developers. I’ll probably find another at some point.
Like it, but could easily love it
I’ve been using this app for some years. But my biggest issue, is that I pay a monthly subscription fee, but there are no updates. Like you should be able to enter an amount without pressing the period sign while doing so. Or there should be an in-built calculator to perform any calculations without going outside of the app. They just aren’t making any updates to make the app better to continue to justify a monthly subscription fee

Mystery Bank Integration System
Tried using this and got to the point where I started connecting my bank account to it. They seem to use a custom integration solution when connecting to your bank, not Plaid. I have no idea what they’re doing with my banking information at this point since I’m entering it into their black box.
Nice interface
I've just used this app recently. I love the layout, easy to follow and provides a lot of useful charts to map your finances. If you are weary about sharing your login info, no worries. Works just fine with offline accounting as well.
Nice Look and Feel. but Accounts don’t Balance
Having tried many packages, I tried the trial option of this product linked to my bank accounts and syncing via iCloud. While the product looks nice and is easy to use, it even shows pending banking transactions which is good, the figures never balance accurately between the bank, the desktop app and the iPhone app. Syncing with the Open Source link seems to create spurious transactions that dont exist, none of the available or current balances match the bank accounts making it difficult to know exactly where you are. Each time the app syncs with the bank, the numbers change constantly (even without any additional transactions being added). I then tried the iCloud sync to a phone and ended up with the Phone showing totally different numbers to the desktop and bank. Again each time the phone synced, the numbers kept changing.
A good programme but slow
This is a good programme for keeping track of my accounts but editing the payments is very slow to update and sometimes the edit change isn't implemented, Adding a new account to the list is. confusing ie Clicking "add account" from the menu bar doesn't add the new account entered??
This is my GO TO money app
I have been using this app for years and I’ll never leave! The forecasting is my favorite (only wish it was easier to get to (several clicks)) but has helped us budget our money and handle all the comings and goings. I personally manually log everything vs the sync but still love it!
does not support my bank
this app did not support my bank for downloading transactions. which is the feture I am looking for. unfortunately i was not able to see that till after i downloaded and purchased the subscription and now I have to go throught the hassle of canceling it. not worth the purchase

Just needs a couple improvements
It’s a good app overall but could use a couple of improvements. It needs to show the running balance for upcoming scheduled transactions to prevent possible overdrafts for an account. And there is a delay in refreshing the transaction list after entering or changing a transaction. Usually it’s a couple second delay, but sometimes you have to close the app and reopen it for the transaction list to update, causing you to wonder if you can trust the numbers and the running balance.
Unable to export data
It did not inform users that the free trial can only record 100 transactions, and can't export data. it is really a waste of my time!
I like it
Very easy to get all expenses tracked and categorised to get a good overview of my expenses. Really like the sync to other devices like my iPad!
Too Many Issues
Issues, one after another. From accounts not syncing - for an entire month - to Accounts constantly needing to be reconnected and finally not connecting at all even after contacting support. Attempts to correct Connections resulted in hours of Disconnecting/Connecting Accunts that had previously been connected. The frustrations mounted. (Discover Card and Target Card would connect and disconnect constantly - I finally gave up on them) Even getting Support was problematic as they would send generic instructions that were hard to follow and/or did not work at all. And when the Developer did attempt to address specific issues, the instructions would often be exactly the same as I reported trying already. There are other issues I wanted to address that I didnt even get to as there were too many other issues that I needed to prioritize. This App could be so great, but I came to suspect the Developer is catering to a small specific group of users who make demands for far too many complicated functions, not necessary for most users. That has driven me away. (It's amazing to me these supposed "power" users are still there after the App not syncing so often and/or for so long!) After tolerating so much downtime (I gave it the benefit of the doubt for a really long time) I realized it syncs very slowly - days later than other App's. I discovered this as I was forced to trial different Apps while waiting for this one to work. Many issues with late and/or non-syncing items emerged. It would seem, reading over other Reviews, that there's a huge gap between what this Developer thinks are updates for a small contingent of Users and what the average User finds is actually working AT ALL. "Improvements" in this App are driving away so many Users. The Reviews do not reflect it getting better over time.
Nice but confusing...
...I'm in the UK. There is no documentation for how you would use pensions that I can find. I'm also frustrated by the lack of documentation on how to transfer funds between accounts without doubling up on entries when the accounts are synced. Also had 5 crashes at various points when I was setting this up in the first few hours of using it.
Plaid integration is subpar
Integrating accounts has been wroght with error messages. Probably going to delete th is app.
Frustrating. No Control over layout and transactions, and Unable to use after purchase?
Not as much control as the older versions. Reports are seriously lacking in the new version, and the UI/UX is awful when trying to control these reports. All they allow is a few simple controls, not as useful anymore - and it's a mini dropdown where you have to continuously scroll in this little tiny box to select/deselect what you want. And there's hardly any reports available now. I REALLY REALLY miss the old version!! This is such a Total disappointment. Also very twitchy when it comes to managing scheduled transactions or making any kind of change to a transaction amount, it's like you have to keep hitting it over and over again, sometimes it never works... 2023 Update : Taxes turned into a nightmare because of reports
See it to believe it
I was looking at other apps hope this has better personal growth features created your own transaction. Users should watch a tutorial to learn how it works. Users review are completely wrong. Confusing to me
Does not work with Barclays in UK
Somthing changed several months ago and it no longer imports from Barclays in the UK. There appears to be no urgency from Jumsoft to fix this. I have cancelled my premium subscription after waiting over 6 months waitin g for them to fix this. Until they do its useless if you are a Barclays / Barclaycard customer in the UK.
App will not allow for multiple accounts with one Financial institute.
I have sent messages to developers hoping that I am missing something, but have not recieved a responsse. Hopefully this can be resolved. The rating is based on the app not currently working for my situation.
Forced to do trial
After a month, the "try for one month free' ad pops up every time you try to enter a transaction and won't let you select 'not now' and proceed with using app.
I got myself in trouble twice in the last 5 years and....
I am good to go now thanks to you. The fact that I was able to reach out and have your help saved me a major headache I am happy to be a forever supporter of Jumsoft and Money!
The online help is useless
The screen shots and instructions do not match the app. It's impossible to create a useful budget now, they messed up the app and gave no instructions for this version.
More impressed now
Happy user of Money for many years. Then came Catalina, so had to upgrade to the laterst version. Not straightforward, but eventually got there. It now takes ages to load the accounts, and ages to add a new entry (but see below for an update). The option to automatically pay items from the Scheduler seems to have gone, so each one has to be manually accepted. The freedom to customise standard reports seems to have gone (though the standard reports give results quickly). Not such a happy user now Imagine I'll be looking for an alternative before long. UPDATE - the speed problem was with a degraded telephone line affecting internet - for some reason the place it showed up most strongly was in Money.
Don’t waste your time
App is descent as far as logging information in the free version. It doesn’t tell you there is a transaction limit on Mac or iPhone. I wouldn’t have wasted my time logging everything I wanted to track had I known. I switched from windows to Mac OS hoping to find an alternative to quicken before they went to monthly fees. If your ok paying $60 a year to utilize this app go for it I’d probably pay for quicken over this app though. Wish I wouldn’t have switched from android or windows to mac
Concept not bad
I like the idea of connecting with onine banks and other types of accounts, but i find this software to be lacking. I have no idea as to how or when my added account transactions are updated. I like that it recognizes places spent and catergorizes it and logo of where you spent money is a nice addition. I I have been using the Dollardbird Pro which is amazing with it's calendar being able to see your account balances for the month after you customize your bills and income. I tried to use the Money app but i love Dollarbird by far. Now only if Dollarbird would add the option to link accounts like this app does.
Does the job.
So far is the best I’ve used. Please update your decimal point. Make as easy as possible because I when I press ones it won’t work until the 3rd click and is kind of annoying when you do it over and over.
Customer Support Non Existent
I signed up for Premium membership with one month free. The one month free really doesn’t allow you to do much of anything. I want to begin the premium membership that I’ve already paid for and I have contacted money to help me move into that next phase and not have to wait the whole month in the free mode. I have made four attempts to contact Money in the last four or five days with no response whatsoever.
Crashes on startup
Downloaded the app on my mac, it crashes on every start. Works on the ipad & iphone.
I want to like this app but so far I can’t even get my accounts setup.
I’m on a 2nd gen iPhone SE and I can’t get my accounts setup because the keyboard covers the input fields and half the instructions…
Amending Scheduler
Generally I find the programme straightforward to use. However, amending the Scheduler is very irritating as rarely works first time. Also would like to write my own reports which can't be done. Neither was an issue with previous versions of te programme
Best money tracking app I have/will ever use!
BEST APP EVER!!! I have used many apps like: mint, rocket, Albert, nerd wallet and more than 6+ others. None have been as useful for me as this one. If you don’t want to take the time to read all of the below I advise you give it a shot. It’s an amazing app. Keep in mind I enter all transactions manually rather than automatically. Also I keep 16 accounts on this: 7 checking/savings accounts and 7 credit cards and 2 cash accounts. It sounds old fashioned (I’m 25) but it works the best for me. All the other apps that automatically linked my accounts had hard time with labeling the transactions currently. Also had major issues detecting transfers from account to account. And any apps that let you manually add them made it difficult and would not link the transaction so you’d have to make two. One going out and one going in. This app allows me to easily input an income and transfer it to other accounts. Ex: $2,000 direct deposit entered into account 1 adds that to existing balance. On that account I can enter in a transaction, label it “transfer” and enter in that it’s for “account 2” and it’s for $1,000. It will automatically show the transfer on both accounts. Coming out of 1 and into 2. This will allow you to add to any transactions: date/time, labels and #’s, title, where the money is going (to another account or to a specific type of purchase like “bakery”), location (type in target and it will show a list of target locations from close to far. Will add a photo for any transaction be it the target 🎯 photo for a target purchase or Zelle logo etc. Easy to view all transactions between all accounts for any of the names/labels/#’s you use. Easily view only target purchases Or all bakery purchases Or all fast food purchases or only McDonalds. All pet purchases or only vet bills If there’s a discrepancy you can change the entire balance and it will automatically make a transaction for that amount. Ex: it says you have $100 but you only have $95 and you can’t find the mistake. Change the total to $95 and it will creat a transaction (I name these “IDK what for” and it labels it as a balance adjustment. It will keep any labels you create for the future. Easy to understand app. I like the green/red numbers for positive or negative balances. Allows you to enter in your credit card limit and due date. Allows you to enter in subscriptions and put wether it reoccurs daily/weekly/biweekly/every 3 weeks/monthly/yearly or any type of custom order. And it allows you to put what card/account if will come out of. Wether you want it to show up as a charge on that day automatically or allows you to hit a “pay button” near that day if you pay the bill manually and take a day or two to pay. Gives you pie charts and bar grafts based on labels and name. OVERALL I love the app. My only fear is that it gets deleted off the App Store cause I’ve had that happen. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT DELETE THIS APP. ITS THE ONLY ONE I’ve ever been able to use. Having it on the mobile app/laptop app is the best combo. I do pay the $4.99 premium. Only suggestion. Add the ability to filter/view only incoming or outgoing on a specific card. Also what does reconciliation do?

Way too many glitches when it shuts down, does not work properly, shuts down unexpected, or worse won't let you in when it opens and shuts down on its own. I would not recommend this app.

In summary an excellent App for managing your home finances with excellent and very quick support from Jumsoft to questions I have raised.

Just updated to the latest version. A few teething problems, largely due to inadequate User Manual, but thankfully now all resolved with help of Jumsoft support.

The life-changing app I needed to prioritize all of my finances and transactions as part of the budget was this money management tool. there are some complaint that people may have about this app that I saw on the reviews, but overall, I would recommend it to someone who is finding their way to manage their finances.

Flatly doesn't seem to work with Amex
Just shows that it's loading, never does, and disappears. Then it's corrupted and never initiates again, with no way to fix it, apparently.
Great on accounts & transactions, lacking in reports
I initially awarded 1 star because of perceived missing functions (as well as other issues regarding upgrade). The developer got back to me to point out the functions I said were missing are indeed present. It is true I had overlooked the presence of ‘Scheduled’ in my astonishment at not seeing reports. But the bizarre thing is the dashboard labels do not mention the functions by name so you will think they are missing. At the time I wrote the initial review, the Mac version was still not working but once it was fixed I could see that the dashboard items called Reports and Budget on the Mac are called Spent and Saved in iOS. Why? Makes no sense - a report could be about income and not just money spent. Please make the names match in all versions. Having established where to find the functions, I was able to try them out to see what has changed. Money’s strength, from version 4, has always been a clear interface and excellent account & transaction management. Version 5 improved the interface and look as 4 was showing its age. However, it was a step backwards in reporting as it was not as flexible - you could not create and copy reports and you have to do a lot of work to get what was easy in v4. So much that I had to keep running 4 on my Mac so I could get the reports I need. I never used Budgets so cannot comment on that. I had hoped the new v6 might bring a welcome change to Reports but sadly I don’t see any change at all. So what’s different in v6? As far as I can see, it’s all about the interface. Fonts, colours etc have been changed. Apart from that, I don’t see any difference although I notice product info mentions in-app purchases. I have no idea what these might be. So why is this a full version number upgrade? I have upped my rating but cannot award more because of the reports functionality, which for my purposes is lacking.
